Almost a shame to see them put up new houses when there are a few empty ones sitting around. I am all about restoring the old and preserving as much of our history for future generations. Hi George & Su , I was watching the santarini vlog, Don't you think that it's wrong and cruel, to make the lovely donkeys go up all them steps. I Iove Animals, same as you. When I first went to Pernera and I saw a donkey on the beach, I thought that it was great .I Used to buy her carrots & Apples. Then the next y ear we saw her with a baby , but they were tied up all day. which we thought was lovely. but i saw some of the donkeys in santarini didn't have any water or shelter , v⁶
They did have water but its not ideal. We visited 20 years ago and the donkeys were in a very sorry state, they all look healthy now. Thinks change slowly, one day we can hope.
