    Awesome review as always C. Well explained/easy to understand. I would add that eliminating mains hum and the need to look for power outlets on stage is one of the big advantages for me of going battery :-)

    Is it possible to power a Pod Go and a Tone X Pedal via Daisy Chain simultanesly with this device?

    which battery do you use. I looked up Naztech and I'm not sure which one to get to couple with the 529m

    Can u use the 529m to power an mxr iso brick? So i can get rid of the mxr adaptor and just plug thru this thing then a batt pack

      @DefconClark  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can plug the device into a battery pack.

    Any chance the 529M could be velcro'd to the underside of the Pod Go? I'm considering this as a replacement power supply solution, and will use my existing Rav Power PD batteries and AC plugs.

      It might be possible…

    Great review, thanks. I purchased the 529m and been using it for the Pod Go. Thinking about using an external pedal in addition. Can you daisy chain another 9v pedal and power both?

    • @DefconClark
      @DefconClark  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can daisy chain the power. However, it wouldn’t be isolated anymore. Therefore, unwanted noise could be introduced to the signal.

    Does it come with the cable to connect to the HX Stomp, HX Effects? They have a non-standard cable.

      @DefconClark  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can’t remember if the 529m came with the hx stomp power cable. However, mission does sell one.

    Wouldn't a Ripcord be good enough to power the HX stomp?

    • @DefconClark
      @DefconClark  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s possible. I don’t have one to test.

    sweet! How long do you think that battery will run your stomp board?

    • @DefconClark
      @DefconClark  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would think around five hours. However, I haven’t tested that yet. So, I don’t know for sure.

      The 529m is just the device and the battery comes with a cable.

    Hi. Does It fit under a pedaltrain Nano?

    Can it run a HX stomp + 3-4 pedals in a daisy chain?

    • @bernardosilva7306
      @bernardosilva7306 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. I have it and I charge my whole board with the Stomp + 5 analog pedals

      You can. However, the signal might get noisy. I have a video coming up which demonstrates this. Stay tuned!

      @jonthorsigmunds 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DefconClark Yes, I'm aware of that risk. I decided to bite the bullet anyway and my 529m is set for delivery later today. I hope it won't be too bad!

      @bernardosilva7306 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@DefconClark Well, that is true for “any” daisy chain solution… If you want to be 100% noise free you always have to isolate pedals. But, the question was if the 529m can handle the power, and the answer is yes :)

  • @javiercisternasnajle

    So would this be a good solution for busking if I use a battery powered amp?

    • @DefconClark
      @DefconClark  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, as long as you knew how long the battery would last and make sure to bring extras.
