Metal Gear Rising Revengeance Ost - Armstrong 2 (Might Makes Right) Extended

I thought I could make this, since extended versions of Collective Consciousness and It Has to be This Way have already been done to death. Senator Armstrong is seriously the best thing about Metal Gear Rising.

No problem. I knew that there was indeed a way to extend this specific theme, but it was a little tricky to figure out how to that. Once I did though, I was basically off to the races making this. It actually doesn't take me that long to make these extensions individually speaking. So, they're a nice complement to the let's play videos that I do, since the latter often requires a lot more time to edit... depending on what's happening within the videos. When I don't have let's play videos to entertain people, I'll just make extensions like this a bit of a way to fill up any unused upload days I planned on using originally. No one wants their own channel to become stagnant, and I'm no exception.

This is part of my D&D soundtracks for iconic bosses, because it really captures that feeling of the last Party member standing, breathing heavily as they hang back -- trying to hastily come up with a plan to take down the Big Bad, when all of their friends have already given their all and fallen... and still the Big Bad stands, powerful as ever...
I play it while taking moments between turns to showcase the gravitas of the situation off-screen; really taking the time to paint a picture of what's going to happen if the TPK actually follows through... Inspiration Points are up for grabs at an all-time high, and Revives are being lined up to be thrown into the mix at the cost of beloved NPC's lives, for my biggest Cinematic payoffs...

@@commissarkordoshky219 "The Mastermind" is used for situations where the Big Bad goes "time to get serious," but he isn't just hitting hard; there's a disconnect between the narrative and the fight when that plays -- as in, they're unable to cause him nearly as much harm as previously.
This 2nd condition is required for that to play ... its usually the introduction track to the unseen problem, which leads to "Might Makes Right" playing; the special condition preventing the BBEG from going down hasn't been resolved, and it's causing dire circumstances for the Party, and by extension, the World -- because my BBEG fights aren't just a tabletop slugfest... they're puzzles in addition to slugfests.

Yeah, part of it was scripted. Although, it was admittedly really cool when you go and perform a series of punches on Armstrong with a QTE... even if they don't do that much damage.

Just run away from him for about 3 minutes and keep as far away from him as you can until he uses the ultimate move that knocks you down. The fist fight part is timed.
