Fantastic vid. What I really wanna see now is the dark horse "best tag team in the world" candidate be added into the mix: The Lucha Brothers. Their escalera de la muerte match with the Young Bucks was one of the matches of the year last year, now they need to get back at it. Lucha Brothers vs FTR might be a even wilder clash of styles than Bucks vs FTR was, even.

If PAC saves Penta 0 M. & Rey Fenix from Eddie Kingston's bad influence, I'm sure The Lucha Brothers could make the 180° comeback for next year.
They were great throughout the beginnings of AEW as they hyped the start of great tag team wrestling that the Bucks wanted for in a Wrestling company. So far now they are still great as individual wrestlers throughout Dynamite and DARK.
Hopefully PAC wins these matches against Eddie Kingston and he reunites the Lucha Bros as a great contender for either singles action or tag team action. And with Pac by their side they can even be more aggressive on their submission style of wrestling.

The Young Bucks and FTR brought a thankful match for professional wrestling fans and made the conclusion of the long storytelling satisfying.
The "Meet In The Middle" of DIY really brought joy to me when FTR clashed back then with Gargano & Ciampa. Nostalgia was on all time high.
& surprisingly The commentary also mentioned the name of
'Diy'.....

There is an underrated promo that FTR and Young Bucks are in the ring with The Rock n Roll Express and Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard. It's the encounter of the generations of tag teams and, even if FTR and YB were building their confrontation for years, that promo was the moment when these two teams have an actual feud in AEW.

My take on this match is that it tells the story of FTR gradually accepting that pro wrestling has evolved. They start the finisher tributes with a hart attack, and end them with meet in the middle. Eventually, they try to get with the times and cash attempts a 450. The bucks have been with the times for a while, and are able to counter this and win because they feel it coming.

Glad to know how the Young Bucks really shaped up as Tag Team World Champions from watching your Omega/Hangman tag team videos and how that led up to Revolution.
Then how Omega Hangman went through a nightmare trying to stay together as FTR secretly infiltrated the Elite in order to canonically brake them up at All Out 2020.
Onto how the Young Bucks went to their Heel edge that needed to show up on Dynamite and on AEW PPV the storyline was completed over on Full Gear 2020
You can really sense how having that many PPVs for AEW is essential to make longer storytelling more subtle as it takes longer for plots to unravel PPV through PPV. Aside of the pointless monthly even bi-montly PPVs the most famous wrestling brand has.
But here's to a future Omega Video detailing the latest part of Omega/Moxley for their upcoming December bout. I hope Omega becomes the Cleaner from them on as he takes and defends the title for an even long run than Moxley.

I used to watch WWE from 2004 - 2010 but after all that PG stuff, it just got boring and almost 10 years later, I felt like a little kid again after AEW was announced even tho i never watched a single indie show until then, i just knew it will be something special. So keep it up with the backstorys, so dummies like me also know the full story.

The only issue I even have with the timeline (and neither team can even control it), is that it all happened during the pandemic.. While I didn't like this match on first watch, hearing your take (and many others) changed my mind. I've been pretty hard on FTR. I just never saw what made them great, I felt they weren't that great on the mic and being heels. This match changed that up a bit.

They literally wrestled how he said people should, and only did flips when it made sense. Plus the end was perfect story telling. FTR can’t get the win so they decide to do what the bucks are known for to win. Only for it to be their demise. Hope round 2 is a ladder match.

P&P vs young bucks in a street fight would be awesome
As much as I wanted the match and it delivered too but the whole build up killed the hype of a dream match.
Match was one of the greatest tag match all time but that build was questionable and worst for any dream match even Nakamura vs Styles WM34 had that hype but this all FTR is heel and Bucks are heel too was meh.
But I'm happy that this match was great and didn't disappoint people like the build up.

Although Meltzer rated it as 5 star match, this could have been a 6-7 star match if a full crowd made it. Tokyo dome? nah
I loved this match, but I do think Young Bucks vs Hangman and Omega is a bit better
TNA dropped the ball letting them go. I always wanted to see them against the Motor City Machine Guns and Beer Money with the straps on the line. Oh well. Things worked out well for The Bucks for sure.
