    He’s not wrong you know. He’s only required to train with the squad during their season! Of course, his exercise and dieting habits will obviously affect is health and career. But that’s his own decision to make. If he doesn’t want to start as many games and is okay with having other players (who work harder) picked over him. It his choice but it’s also the managers choice if they decide to drop him!

    • @destinychibuzor3630
      @destinychibuzor3630 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I understand your rationale, but I disagree respectfully.
      When you choose a career such as football you inadvertently choose the job as a life. Football is not like teaching where a teacher or student can choose to take a break from intensive study or research over the summer (not to be confused with abandoning it totally, even if that is not a death sentence). With football, your body is the major instrument of work and as such, day in, day out, you have to protect it. If you must let go to enjoy yourself occasionally, that's okay. But, you can't gain as much weight as Eden packed on per time which meant Madrid couldn't count on him for the first two three months of the season, even if he wasn't injured.
      To add to this, I believe Eden's injury problems at Madrid although mainly attributed to ill luck could be linked to this habit of "just letting go" during the breaks in the hopes of shaping up during the season restart. The body is in a constant state of flux with this practice; the question to be fit, or not to be? It takes a lot of stress, the footballer's lifestyle. Understandably, one must rest from the intensive workouts to allow some form of recovery. One cannot however, lose guard and let the body muscles regress totally. The weight Eden put up meant he hard to work double time in the pre season to get in shape in time. And I think it ultimately proved too much strain for his body. Imagine, being fit across eight months, totally losing fitness and living unhealthy (at least bodily) for three to five weeks and then requiring your body to shape up in the following four weeks. It's deathly.
      I think it's common knowledge that building is much harder than tearing down. Contrary to what Eden implies in his justification of his habit, I think he treats his body like just an object such as a balloon, you can just reshape as and when you please.

      @@S0L12D3 Well, I think it is in that I believe his rationale for living the way he did is wrong and unprofessional. However, you said "He's not wrong you know". Everything about this video, from the decisions he made to the way the parades them is just wrong.
      While as you rightly noted that it's his prerogative, I think his behaviour is a disrespect to his contract which he ultimately failed to honour because of his choices.
      Edit: Also, I'm a Madrid fan, so it hurts extra. We had big hopes for someone who didn't hold himself to necessary standards.

      Rm didn't understand Eden that's why he failed. It is their failure. He isn't an ever hardworking ambitious player like Cristiano or any other successful player in real madrid. He is like every normal person who wants to enjoy life. The reason he was successful was because of the pure talent he possessed and the freedom given by chelsea to do whatever he wants in his personal life. A club like RM is successful because of their strict policy with their talents. Eden just doesn't work with RM.

    My man actually doesn't understand how the 'highest level' actually works. It was never about the weight, even Ronaldo Nazario played unbelievably good when he was overweight. It was always about dedication. Putting your body through the gutter in order to be at your peak performance, just so you can outclass your opponents by an edge. He was complacent, and ignorant about his team, dragging down real talented men alongside him. Eden Hazard was a dribbler at his best of days, but the fact that he let it all go only because he thinks that he couldn't maintain his weight for two months for his professional athletic career, and then comparing himself to someone who is the role model of professionalism. I understand it, kind of, being a footballer is still a job. But he was always saying, how joining Real is his big dream, this and that, he could have put in the work. Besides that he was 4 years in Real Madrid and didn't put in the work in any other season. Worst transfer in history of football for sure.

      it was his injury, he was also the best in pl at one point. Its his bad day, just like many footballers who got injured. if he didnt get injured, he would get in shape in 1 or 2 months and be the 120 million hazard, its just badluck sometimes.

      @@goodlad8166Even his teammates said he never went to training or worked. Cristiano and Messi came back from injuries, why couldn't he?

      there are 100s of players who didnt came from injuries and everybody are not cristiano and messi, there are literally videos of him in gym, wdym he NEVER worked? everybody has a different type of training, its not like REAL MADRID DIDNT KNOW HAZARD DOESNT TRAIN MUCH? they knew and bought him, and its a type of player . @@Naye710

    I’m sorry but you’ve just signed for Madrid, possibly the highlight of your career and your preparing by eating burgers and doing f all. What a waste.

    The point is you get paid to perform, and you can be 120 KGs np if you can perform but you're injured all the time because of your shitty fitness

    He is the definition of a waste of talent, absolutely too full of himself. He would truly have been on the top top points of football, but he CHOSE not to do so. And by all means, he is in his right to be a bum, but then talking about himself as he is a great role model for players on the very top level is disgraceful. He is the last of the times of where pure talent would save you, but due to NOT training properly, his body couldnt handle the injuries. Loser

    A lot of people underestimate how players mentality impact their careers. The reason there was a debate about CR7 and Messi was because they stayed up in that level for over 15 years. This guy wasted his talents because he didn't take care of himself. What a wanker
