Most people from Kazakhstan and Kirgizstan haven't ever thought or discussed the Pakistan's mere existence. Not to mention it's Central Asian "Superpowerness". Being a Turkic-speaking and/or nomadic person is far more important for us, Post-Soviet Central Asians, than any islamic cult or idea. If you weren't holding the region for centuries (Russia), are not economic superpower (Mainland China) or at least not a Turkic nation (Turkey) -- you have virtually no chance to make any little influence on our countries.
Kazakhstan, being The Biggest and The Richest of all four of them, has almost no control over other three, despite all economic and military advantages. It is fairly sufficient example to emphasize how hard it is to control Central Asia.

Can u name a single Islamic country that has democracies that are even remotely comparable with these 2 countries? Food habits is culture, tradition and history based and depends on social norms. Ofcourse u r gonna be beaten up if u violate centuries old norms in any country. Muslims in India havent consumed beef for centuries. And as I said, Israel and Pak were formed in the name of religious identity, but Israel had a far more stronger cause and determination under the historic circumstances... while Pak was only meant for power of some selfish leaders. Pak today is nothing like what its founding fathers visualized. And Israel may seem extreme far right but the army doesn't dictate policy decisions or laws. Ppl have huge respect for civilian govts in most thriving democracies. Army rules are a recipe for disaster

For audience's knowledge Afghanistan's leader Daud Khan once started a military offensive against Pakistan's tribal belt which Pakistani militias repelled but Pakistan blockaded Afghanistan and sanctioned it economically by stopping trade & transit with landlocked Afghanistan. Daud Khan should never have messed with Pakistan because that's when Afghanistan's woes actually started And Pakistan's ISI got involved in Afghanistan's internal affairs in order to avoid any such threat in future. If he hadn't, Afghanistan might have become a great and powerful country and Pakistan might have materialized its ambition of becoming a super power and making 'Stanistan' a reality.

read a book for once. After 1994 starting with Benazir Bhutto's govt, Pakistan decided to side with the Taliban. Because Pakistan coveted trade with central Asia. Amidst the civil war in Afghanistan, Pakistan took on a pilot project, and imported 30 trucks of cotton from a central asian country, forgot the name, those trucks were hijacked by the northern alliance. and who came to Pakistan's help? The Taliban, through the ISI.
Same strategy of sorts is being followed right now as well, Pakistan brokering the US Taliban peace talks, just to cool the region down and try and gain access to central Asia once again with the ports of Gwadar and Karachi working at full swing and the construction of CPEC. It's a great opportunity, and can lead to very interesting possibilities in the future.

Nixon supplied weapons to Pakistan even after ban on arms export by congress and suppressed report of genocide US even called upon India to withdraw during war in the UN. Had it not been for US support suffering there would have been cut short by several months. Narrative was also manipulated post war in international forums.
