Extremely detailed guide and awesome format! Just in time for 1.2 patch too! I have been looking up for Grace tips but was a bit disappointed, until yours showed up. I'm excited to build my Grace up for the upcoming Burnice - Grace - Rina Disorder team, and I'll take what I learned from your vids to make my Grace gameplay even better. Much appreciated and thanks!
this was so nicely done and very educational! apparently ive been using her most basic combos up until interknot 47😂 i love playing her and love to know more how to, thank you so much for this!
I posted on Reddit awhile ago about wanting to make Jane/Seth/Grace works because I got Grace M1, but many people said Lucy would be better. Thank you for posting this video, so I can give Grace a try.
It depends on whether you want Disorders or Jane hypercarry, Grace is good with Jane because she doesn't need to stay on the field too much to trigger Anomalies.
Thank you so much for this I never knew if I should use her special unless I had the pink bar filled. I thought it was only worth it if her energy was at the red mark under the health bar.
this kind of explanation is much easier to understand unlike the others, this is well detailed though complicated for me to go through all of it but its fine, i like taking the time to learn about builds and this is what i needed for grace (i don't have her yet so wish me luck)
I had the same issues you highlighted, but other guides don't even acknowledge them and I thought it was just me. Only thing I also like to add it's not quite efficient but any time I lose track of zaps or lose her animation I rely on her barrel roll (aerial auto) as a sort of compass reset as far as I can tell it always gives full stacks and I can reset by dumping the zaps and starting my combo fresh (the non directional one) I like this format of video though thumbs up
Nice to see that you continue to be a grace enthusiast. I'm waiting on burnice release so that i can build a team around grace (since i didn't get koleda or rina) since seth is usually on my Jane team. Tho i'm quite surprised to see that weeping gemini performs better on your testing, cause Lipgloss was the main reason i've been buying the Battle Passes ever since i pulled Grace as my second S rank on Standard banner
When I learned about quick switching to prolong anomaly triggers, it was a game changer for disorder execution. I can more easily mash Jane or Grace combos and if I notice the anomaly bar almost full when I’m not ready to commit to a disorder proc, I simply tag to the other and even mid-combo anomaly won’t proc because it only procs when the character is considered the active point character. I’ve made my disorders a lot smoother by mashing Jane combos and tagging before the Assault breaks so I can build Shock with Grace, proc it, then tag to Jane for instant disorder.
im def gonna get rina on my 300th guarantee. She has a lot of potential for future electro/pen based teams and ive got her sig weapon so might aswell yk? Great vid
first I wanna say thank you for the guides, they are really good, feedback I would give is that if you don't want to use your voice maybe text to speech? I know I can pause the video to read but is more convenient when you listen and see the demo at the same time, just my two cents, keep the good work and I wonder if Yanagi is going to power creep Grace.
Thank you, English is not my first language so my pronounciation is pretty bad so i'm currently trying to improve it. I might do voiceover in the future but not until my pronounciation got a bit better
Very useful guide! i've been trying to use her as main dps, but it never worked out, i know that mine is lv 50 and the discs also not that great but i'm glad i didn't try to farm more freedom blues because this new disc seems really more perfect for her and more valuable to farm for future agents.
Anomaly units get way better once you get good proficiency on pieces and PEN as well for ones like Grace. Anomaly mastery on disc 6 is prob the biggest must have though. W-engines are pretty huge too. 5-star ones matter. Great guide ^^. I hope more ppl build Anomaly. It's easier now because Seth too. Heck Caesar will make Grace easier to play too for those getting her and you can use both or one or the other with Jane too.
Personally I really like jane/seth/grace because a lot of people tend to not like seth's charged special, instead opting for his regular special for faster rotations. However, Seth's charged special is really helpful for building additional shock anomaly for grace (assuming you don't accidentally trigger it with him), and it has SO MUCH INVULNERABILITY FRAMES LIKE OH MY GOD I'M SITTING THROUGH BOSS COMBOS WITH IT
Currently playing a team of Jane/Seth/Lucy and plan on replacing Seth with Burnice. Since I started the game with Grace (she was my first standard 5-star after 2 10-pulls) and really wanted a mono electro team primarily focusing on Grace even before I started playing ZZZ and I have Rina at C1, well, thanks for the video. :D
Great guide, super detailed. I'm using the Seth/Grace/Jane team atm and need to get better at giving Grace a little more on field time to get my disorder procs, often find myself just constantly switching between Jane and Seth with the defensive assist. Curious to see what a Jane/Grace/Burnice full anomaly comp will look like.
CMIIW but disorder damage is the highest if the first anomaly triggered is shock. Therefore with Grace and Jane, it's better to trigger shock first and then assault. And don't forget the timing. The sooner you trigger the second anomaly, the bigger the damage. Plus, I think it's possible to trigger disorder multiple time within one anomaly debuffed enemy. So maybe something like Shock > Assault > Shock especially since Grace is very quick at triggering anomaly.
Most in-depth guide i've seen yet. Im building Seth, rina and grace atm. Whose ult should i use? I find Grace's ult kinda weak tbh, and rina's seems strongest
Love your content, Thank you so much for putting all this information together. I've been trying Grace+Anton and I agree that it just doesn't feel as good as doubling down on Grace... RIP Bro. I don't have Rina so I wanted to mention a couple of things about my grace build. I'm currently running with Atk% in Slot 6 along with Seth and Lucy. Running the 4 pc Thunder Metal I kept having issues where shock would fall off too quickly and I'd lose a lot of that Thunder Metal set bonus damage. In contrast running with 4 pc freedom blues was helping to speed up my anomaly build up to keep shock ticking and resulted in faster clears. I do wanna test with a slot 6 AM disk to see if maybe that's the issue, but losing 3 additional seconds of Shock from not having Rina has been really noticeable.
Update: Running AM in slot 6 did generally make the Shock uptime better for Thunder Metal 4 pc on a 10second shock, although I do miss seeing the bigger number. 28% conditional atk up doesn't feel as nice as just 30% permanent atk up on slot 6. Hopefully I can get Rina someday.
if rina have enough energy to e , when seth trigger quick assist, you can double tap space to go from seth to grace to rina, then e to go back to grace
I love disorder main dps grace a lot so I'll stick with that over hypershock (don't have Rina anyway, ajd I don't wanna invest in more disks lol). While very demanding in terms of inputs and super easy to make mistakes, it's extremely satisfying! Can't wait to see what a burnice sub dps will look like and if she will mostly swap out my piper or not! Honestly I'm not even gonna go for Yanagi, I want Miyabi instead haha
Her anomaly built up is definitely excellent. But I think her damage relied on electric attacks after shock because most of her attacks are just physical damage I fear if Yanagi has more variety to her combo than I will have to replace Grace with Yanagi when I get her I guess there is a gap between S rank limited and Standard S Rank just like standard A rank vs standard S rank
Great video man i need this since i just got her and her sign W engine. Theres a little issue for me tho, can you do the talking with some ai or something? Since i just cant do my eye like reading and seeing you in action at the same time like... im here to watch video not to read or some shit like that. Its just a bit of my complain tho, dont get me wrong your video is so good i like it, like i watch most of your content but its just i cant read your shit and watch like that. Thanks as always keep the good work man 👍🔥
hmmm, this gives me a few ideas to keep Grace from being benched. If I get Jane though, I may leave Grace there while Rina will now go to Ellen's team.
Kinda, Anomaly damage is calculated based on the stats as well as the anomaly buildup character contribute to the target. Let's say Seth did 50% and Grace 50% of the anomaly bar that mean the damage will be calculated by both of their stats equally.
thank you, very useful, i thought u was gonna put 2 pc freedom blues, 2 pc chaos jazz, and 2 pc thunder metal base on the thumbnail, and one more thing i have jane doe and seth but no rina and in the shiyu defense there are the part where the electric and physical are seperated, im curious whether i built the general all purpose build, or the hyper shockjed focus, kinda low on disk tapes but i already prepare the 4pc freedom blues and the 4 pc thunder metal..
Thank you for the guide. I am curious tho, I am going to pull burnice and the new chaos jazz is her best slot. Since I am going to play grace/burnice/seth, what set can you recommend for grace and seth btw?
I'd be interested to see how you go in inferno. I can only get like 30-40m with Grace Shock team vs 90m with my Ellen and Rat teams. Resonium build probably matters a bit but still the performance felt underwhelming.
I got 143M in Inferno with a Jane/Grace/Rina (60/50/55) Disorder comp and a good resonium loadout of Assault and Shock Resonia (both with the 8+ set bonus cards). This seems to be the damage cap for now, as Nineveh flew away with no wipeout screen and with time left on the clock. Ellen/Lycaon/Rina can get me to ~73M with Freeze and Crit Resonia.
@@Reda-Ou Yeah, a Disorder comp works best to maximize Shock Anomaly damage. Applying Shock on top of Shock just resets the duration, so it's wasting a lot of DPS. Every time you proc Shock, you'll want another Anomaly (Burn, Freeze, Assault, Corruption) to get Disorder to instance all the remaining Shock procs at once. Rina is great here because she gives Shock +30% duration, which translates to 30% more damage.
Thank you for incredible content! Don't you think that hypercarry Grace's damage without the way to end lightning DoT faster (e.g. disorder proc with Nicole) is a bit wasted? Grace and Rina apply shock way to fast and Rina prolongs it. I always want to utilise it somehow that's why I've used Nicole and never looked at Lucy or Caesar.
Yeah that's what i felt, it's a bit sad seeing the full shock application during stun window suddenly goes down after the boss recover from the stun. I kinda wish applying consecutive shock will trigger remaining shock instead of just overwriting them
i noticed myself that you can just keep doing chain disorders after the first round of set up, can i knw why did you chose to do the set up like you would on the first rotation instead for the Jane/Grace team in every disorder proc? sure the dmg would look lower since we would've let the shock run for a few ticks but imo proc-ing disorder is the main point since its the extra free dps that we want
I Agree. Since Disorder doesn't cost or gain you any extra Anomaly damage compared to letting it run its course, delaying Anomaly application only loses you DPS, unless you can't manage to proc Disorder within 10 seconds (which for Jane or Grace is never a problem). It's good for getting big PP damage numbers for screenshots, but it's damage that you would have dealt anyway. Maybe you might want to wait for a supporter debuff like Nicole Shield, but I have a feeling that would just reduce your DPS further.
lose 2 50/50 and pull her in normal banner, grace mindsscape 2 now and also lose 50/50 in the weapon banner to her w engine.... i guess is my destinity as a f2p to build her now, ty for the video
Hello, I just want to understand something, what happens to the remaining shock dot duration, if u trigger another shock? Does it stack with the other shock or does it just disappear?
Couple of extra notes: 1. Basic combo is better than repositioning combo because Grace's Moving Shot has signifcantly lower motion values (although ok stun values). Basic combo is better, because it gets Grace to her N3 and N4 more often. N3 adds a tiny bit of extra shock anomaly, and N4 has a huge AOE and high damage multiplier, as well as the highest daze multiplier. 2. Grace's N4 is incredible. Not only does it has a really good motion values, as well as daze, it also has a ton of iFrames, allowing you to dodge things. With M1, it even regenerates energy. Playing Grace is all about using her N4 properly. 3. Grace's basic combo has decent mobility too. N4 and special (both Ex and normal special) can both reposition. In fact, it's important to nudge closer to the enemy once in a while because Grace's attacks, outside of Specials and part of N3 have damage dropoff from range. I do need to try hyper grace more, but I'm currently stuck on Grace/Qingyi/Anton as my main team. I find that grace struggles a lot against hyperaggressive enemies, as well as a lot of enemies with ranged attacks. I think that once Burnice is released, the Anomaly team is going to be the strongest for sure, because Grace works perfectly as an on field driver.
Now that Yanagi got dripped as another Electric Anomaly, I wonder if she'll pair well enough with Grace (maybe Grace-Yanagi-Seth/Rina) in comparison to disorder Grace (Grace-Burnice-Lucy/Rina)? But if she's meant to replace Grace, I'll pass on her and just go for Burnice and then save for Miyabi. Unless she somehow synergies with Miyabi with them both being in Section 6 and all.
Yes and no. Yes as Yanagi will probably be a more desirable shock anomaly agent, but also no as Yanagi has passives that strongly prefer disorder over a full shock team. Grace and Yanagi won't really synergize together as a result,so they'll both have their niche to fill.
A couple of notes on the guide: The most optimal combo for Grace is the Sideway, as it allows for 3 full charges in a single sequence. We won't always use all three Ex attacks; we can simply save the charges to engage later with an opening Ex. Secondly, the best 4pc set for sub-DPS Grace is the Hormone Punk. Grace can enter and perform the sequence as mentioned in less than 10 seconds, so we would be fully utilizing the set. Even when the new Burnice set comes out, the Hormone Punk will still be superior, as the skill damage provided by this new set doesn't affect Grace's true damage, which comes from shock/disorder.
For anton dps teams I'm planning to run anton, grace and caesar. Should i stick the hypercarry dps build on grace since in this team shes mostly on the field to fill up shock gauge fast first before switching to anton to activate his core passive?
Why is PEN% stacking better than spreading stats across PEN% and attribute dmg %? I'd have thought that if we have Fusion Compiler and Rina, we'd better off having disc 5 on attribute dmg %.
I was wondering why go burnice grace [ lucy ] over burnice grace [ seth ] as a 4* addition to the team ? It activates all 3 characters passive and get the anomaly proficiency bonus. Is her attack buff that big of a deal it's still better ?
It is apply the first combo chain when you swap in. The off-field effect is in fact work after swapping in for 5 second. Otherwise you can do 2-piece 2-piece 2-piece if you are annoyed for the incosistent buff from the set or soemthing like thet. New set should be better still.
Currently waiting on Burnice to do the disorder team because im sweating my ass out with Grace/Piper/Lucy here Jane is with Seth on my first team so i cant have Seth with Grace I dont have Rina so thats out the window too Im going bananas
Im trying to make Grace with Ceasar work since I like Grace a lot, but man its rough, I play Ceasar/Lucy/Grace or Ceasar/Grace/Rina and both do around the same time clears, but then my Ceasar/Lucy/Piper comes and blows Grace out of the water by A LOT. Both are similarly invested, while my Grace has almost hit the ceiling, my Piper still has a lot of room to grow so even worse for Grace. No matter how I look at it, Piper M6 owns Grace M0 😕. Main problem with Grace is that she takes too long to build shock on bosses even with AM disk and Talents E, while Piper builds even 2 assaults a rotation. Ok rant over, I just think Grace is mid af.
YANAGI DRIP MARKETED 😫
I must say, the style of this video is outstanding. It's clear in its explanations, provides examples, acknowledges errors, and fosters learning. I'm eager to try this out after my classes today. Perhaps making the subtitle background transparent and positioning them just above the Basic Attack, Dodge, and Special Attack buttons-ending before the Ultimate button-would improve visibility. Additionally, moving the "Part #" indicator and section title up a bit would be beneficial. Once again, I truly value the conciseness of this format and look forward to more videos. Thank you!

Every time you proc Shock, you'll want another Anomaly (Burn, Freeze, Assault, Corruption) to get Disorder to instance all the remaining Shock procs at once. Rina is great here because she gives Shock +30% duration, which translates to 30% more damage.
@@Vasharan I know how Disorder works, I already said the Disorder team is fine. I'm talking about using mono-electric and getting that to work.
I kinda wish applying consecutive shock will trigger remaining shock instead of just overwriting them
For hypershock, I don’t have fusion compiler, but have S1 Sharpened Stinger. Is that better than Rainforest or Weeping?
Subbed
i noticed myself that you can just keep doing chain disorders after the first round of set up, can i knw why did you chose to do the set up like you would on the first rotation instead for the Jane/Grace team in every disorder proc? sure the dmg would look lower since we would've let the shock run for a few ticks but imo proc-ing disorder is the main point since its the extra free dps that we want
Great guide! I hope my grace will do better dmg
The timing is unreal. Thoughts on Yanagi?
hi i have a question for you what do you think about this team grace seth and burnice
Hello, I just want to understand something, what happens to the remaining shock dot duration, if u trigger another shock? Does it stack with the other shock or does it just disappear?
Couple of extra notes:
What do you think about Grace/Seth/Caesar? I don't have Rina and I'm hoping this would be stronger or at least on par with Grace/Seth/Rina.
Grace never come home 😢, still watch the video 😁
maybe mommy Yanagi is the one..
If I don't have Rina and want to use Seth + Lucy, what disc drives should I use? I assume 4pc Swing Jazz for Lucy but what about Seth?
is she will be powercreep by yanagi?
yes
Was just debating if I should skip 1.2 and go for Yanagi but looks like if I build my grace better I'll be fine.
I was wondering why go burnice grace [ lucy ] over burnice grace [ seth ] as a 4* addition to the team ? It activates all 3 characters passive and get the anomaly proficiency bonus. Is her attack buff that big of a deal it's still better ?
Why chaos jazz 4 piece? The bonus it gives is only for off-field electro dmg
The electro and fire damage buffs are applied at all times. The off-field effects are a separate part of the 4-piece.
It is apply the first combo chain when you swap in. The off-field effect is in fact work after swapping in for 5 second. Otherwise you can do 2-piece 2-piece 2-piece if you are annoyed for the incosistent buff from the set or soemthing like thet. New set should be better still.
it's a pretty good video but it's too bad that I still need Rina just to use Grace as main dps, she's currently just sub dps for Jane atm.
Please make a Grace + Burnice vids when Burnice is out. tq
Are Grace , Qingyi , Rina a good team?
Or is it better to play 2 supports
Since I don't have Rina, maybe Grace/Nicole/Lucy since I use Seth on my Jane team?
Would nicole be using anomaly mastery on disck 6?
How about Grace/Caesar/Rina compared to Lucy for Caesar?
Is grace seth rina better than grace lucy rina? I dont understand the rotation for the seth team, it seems pretty complicated
Should i still using fusion compiler if i dont have rina?
Grace mains unit 💯💯💯
Currently waiting on Burnice to do the disorder team because im sweating my ass out with Grace/Piper/Lucy here
Jane is with Seth on my first team so i cant have Seth with Grace
I dont have Rina so thats out the window too
Im going bananas
Ok rant over, I just think Grace is mid af.
im pretty sure youre playing the disorder team incorrectly. when played right , this team is capable of triggering consecutive disorders quite quickly
I think the other video in this channel show that there are many other Jane’s teams that are stronger AND easier than Jane Grace disorder…
