I have gate 26 (as a channel) and gate 40. Defined heart center. I definitely get validation from giving. It’s a double edge sword like you pointed out. I am a smooth talker, meaning, I am engaging to listen to and I always carry a message. That being said, the listener has to be ready and primed to readily accept what I have to say, mostly useful things which can lead to a betterment or an evolution. Thank you again !

Am confused by the idea of ego and heart being the same thing because I thought the ego was related to the mind and the heart is well -- the heart. Very unclear to me now.. Lol.
I'm a 4/6 splenic manifestor on the 21 Cross of Tension with also the Channel of Initiation and Channel of the Surrender and the ego as the motor. A lot of heart action going on. Thinking of the 21 as resourcefulness is new to me and I had to think about it for a bit. I suppose considering the 21 as being the chief of the tribe, the chief is responsible for making sure everyone in the tribe is taken care of. Thus, the 21 asks, 'What gets everyone's needs met?' and innately finds the ways to do that. Everyone includes the Chief too. An ego thing to say, maybe, but if the chief isn't taken care of too the chief can't provide. The 51 opens too much for me to go into depth here, but with the Channel of Initiation, almost all of my successful careers have been those were I was doing either a brand new job the company just invented or working at a brand new company. I think this channel aligns nicely with the manifestor energy. With the 26, if you'll lend me an ear and keep it tuned, a swirl of sweet rhetoric will pour forth like a torrent. It can be tough to find the ear though, so writing is preferable; the words are there for you to read or not. If a job application reaches the interview phase, it's a done deal. It may seem shallow, but the Transmitter has the defined ego and in my case tied to the G center. Not only do I have to honor the commitment, but my identity depends on it.

I've found each of your explanations about the gates really eye-opening. Especially your last example about gate 40 - I have the hardest time calling in sick, just today I had to cancel an appointment because I felt too awful to leave the house, and had to wrestle with a lot of guilt and shame, expecting the other person to think I'm just being lazy or irresponsible. It's incredible how much Human Design explains a person to themselves, and it just keeps unfolding. Anyway, thank you again. I'll be watching the rest of your videos now.

Hi, I am a 1/4 Projector with only heart and solar-plexus defined (thru 37-40 channel). I have gate 21, 26 and 40 defined in my heart. Why am I lacking self confidence, and also lack the will to keep on going?

Great question - I like to see "hanging gates" as characteristics that are part of us. So if you had a hanging gate 21 for example, I would look into what planet(s) those fall in as well as what line, example: If you had the 21.4 - in jupiter which represents our values, I would think about how this plays into my day to day as well as from the line 4 energy
I'm a 6/2 manifesting generator with a defined ego center and gate 26. I find I'm a great writer, yet in my work as a delivery driver a lot of times I seem to need to repeat myself when saying who's order I'm picking up like they barely hear me. Also strangers open up to me for some reason even though they don't know me. Usually I just let them talk and may give a suggestion or two and that's it. Not really sure if all that is related or makes sense for gate 26.
