I have a left facing bottom left arrow but I am SO “right facing”!!! I like to travel alone exactly because I don’t like to have my spontaneity “interrupted” by someone who freaks out about changing plans or being “scared” about new circumstances! True that I had been with a friend to the Sahara first, but I then sold everything and moved there “alone” to live with the natives and experience their way of living, and to organize walking tours in the desert for other people to discover it too! Then again, I am a Manifestor 3/5! 😂 It’s funny because my best friend is also a Manifestor, bottom left arrow facing right, and she’s so totally “facing left”!!! I’ve just recently discovered human design and found out my arrows are quad left which I was really shocked to find because I believe I’ve been living like I have more rightness through conditioning (if that makes sense?). This is great! When I turned this video on, I was cleaning a batch of greens for a few days worth of smoothies (prepping-top, left, left facing arrow). All but one arrow are left facing in my chart. The left, bottom faces right and I would never go on a trip with a group; I just love letting things unfold day-to-day, but I would probably eat the same thing because I am so routine-oriented and love structure. For example, my partner and I were traveling in a foreign country and did not speak the language. We decided one day to stop staying in small hotels and buy a tent and camp. We found camp sites by using the symbols in a camping guide book (that we could not read). It was so much fun, but if I was home and did not have bananas for my smoothie, I'd be really stressed out! This really never made any sense to me. This information really helps!
Awesome sauce! My environment arrow points to the right and yes I love the travel analogy and i often travel to focus, test, experiment with an income stream, and even to heal physically or spiritually. The digestion arrow points to the right and it's spot on! While meal prep hasn't taken hold yet (hmm) I can totally have the same meal for breakfast/lunch til infinity and leftovers are a welcome result of a cooking session.

I'm also a quad left and quite the control freak. It wasn't until recently that I even realized I needed so much order to feel comfortable. It go against my free spirited nature (or so I thought) I just realized if it's planned and orderly i can be even more wild and free
I have the bottom left arrow pointing in the right (the other 3 are left in my chart) and I LOVE change, travelling, spontaneity, I love being in new environments that feel exciting to me. This truly does expand my energy field. My husband, on the other side, has a left-facing arrow. He is a little bit of a control freak when it comes to securing everything, although I am very cautious when it comes to flights and airports and also want to know the gate I am departing from ;) I am definitely more relaxed in general and love to go with the flow. For this reason, I often prefer travelling alone, although this hasn't happened for a while

I have a bottom left, left facing arrow. I am controlling in my home environment but not so much with travel. I need “known” initial destinations (such as hotel on day 1) but then am far more spontaneous like the right facing arrow. This means two things to me: 1) I see why I am somewhat rigid in my home environment. It is my sanctuary and makes that important to me for relaxation. 2) it makes me reflect a bit further on my actions for travel. Is the way I am responding an old pattern of disempowerment playing out as a “go with the flow good girl, compliant and fluid (not because it’s a preference but due to conditioning) OR do I actually prefer the spontaneity and flow? Great contemplation point for me. Thanks for the overview. Very helpful to have these bite-sized nuggets of detail in this complex study of HD. 🙏🏻

I love what you said as i also have a Bottom Left arrow facing left,i felt into it and it feels right.I had to visualize it,i have not had the luxury of traveling often so i only had a handful of such experiences,lacking introspection about it.That puts so much perspective into why i felt the way i did without order! Wow,this explains why i need guidance and structure on trips.

left bottom facing right ( 2/4 projector) - moved around as a child and enjoyed that, very spontaneous still , hitchhiked and backpacked in my teens, have lived in 7 us states as an adult, enjoy variable scenery and location changes daily, in and out at home.. prefer to travel for work, have tried on many employers, often very last minute in planning road trips, absolutely do thrive in new environments and situations and have always recognized that i do better on the go, out and about at least. I am the throw it in a bag and catch the next flight type, weekend trips exploring my state and surroundings ... I can almost always be lured with spontaneous travel or opportunity
This clarity is great! I resonate with this so much. My top left facing arrow and bottom right facing arrow make so much more sense to me now. I definitely prefer more structure when it comes to food and i love eating out a new restaurants to satisfy the need for taking in new energy in new environments. It never make much sense to me how my husband can go to the same restuarant millions of times but once i go about 3 times, I'm over it lol.
Left bottom arrow for environment -- totally hilarious -- I love structure & order, but I'm also adventurous & spontaneous. Here's the thing, in terms of travel: I was an Int'l flight attendant, so I would grab the 'speaker' (the one who knew the language), and run around that city having fun. Maybe knowing I only had so many hours before we all met for dinner or so little time to explore before we left to fly home, actually helped me to be relaxed & motivated to go all over. But YES, the structure built in to this unstructured environment definitely mattered (to me)! haha You did a great job explaining. THANKS
The top one is right and the bottom is left. I eat from the afternoon to late at night, but I snack eat during those times. Now my environment I have to have a plan so my body will be ready for it. Thanks for the info
This is excellent! It has really been helpful to me. I have two right-facing arrows on the left side. I live alone, and since lockdown, I have been mostly grazing. So much advice tells you that you have to eat at certain times. I’ve been concerned about that. Now I know that I’m really going with my natural energy. And, yes, I HATE to meal prep. I’ve always known I like to travel with just a light plan. So thank you for giving me permission to not be structured. What a relief!
My husband and I both have our left arrows pointing right. The bottom left cracked me up because it’s so true! We used to live in fl, but we started getting bored with our environment so we decided to pack it up and leave everything. No plan. We didn’t even know where we were going. With $70 to our name, we just started driving. We were nomads for 2 years in California, living out of our car with a dog and 2 cats. It was an adventure. After that, we found ourselves living in Minnesota. We’ve been renting our current house for 6 or 7 years. Starting to get bored again and have already notified our landlord. Again, no plan. I guess we’ll see where we end up next lol.
bottom left, left facing arrow, and I definitely want everything to be planned for travel. I like to have structure. I enjoy the tourism part immensely and tend to be very free and open about it, but the travel part is too stressful, too many variables that could go wrong. It didn't bother me as much growing up and I grew up in a household where we traveled most summers. But as an adult and traveling alone or in small groups, I always felt stressed and needed the structure

I have right facing digestion and environment, and if I know there might be a reason for a mess or for something I don't like, I can allow it. And I trust that if I need to address it, then I will get the opportunity :) My other two arrows are facing left, and I have procrastinated on art projects and science projects, but then when I finally decide to do it, I did it faster and better than any of my peers!
My arrows are exactly the same as yours! For me and travel, I need to have a few places pre planned to feel comfortable like dinners or know some places I want to shop at and then the rest can be more flexible..I also feel more comfortable if i can bring familiar things like a yoga mat or things that make me feel more at home.
Hi! Thank you for your the clarity you provided for us all. My top arrows are both pointing right, while the bottom arrows point left. Two years ago, I went to Japan all by myself for a three week trip, travelling across the country. I felt the need to preplan most of it, and so I scheduled my transport to each destination beforehand. I looked up all local foods for those regions and some cool things to do. When i arrived at one of the last destinations, I was really tired and a bit ill. I slept for a few hours and decided I did not like this city and hotel I was in. I decided to move to another destination. That’s when my brain got stuck: I wasn’t panicking, but I felt overwhelmed by the options...and ended up going back to Kyoto, where I had already spent three days. So: yes! I can relate, to the planning, to the overwhelmed feeling when it didn’t feel right...and got back to what I knew. (I was a bit sad for doing so afterwards, but at the moment it felt like the best choice.) So, thank you for sharing! I really learned a lot more about myself. I am still wondering how my top right arrows and bottom left arrows will work together, especially moving into the upcoming shift towards a more right direction. Thank you for this post.

Not to mention a clear example of how your energy plays with the world around you - thank you for sharing 😘 From this example, I can see how your first two arrows work together. The top left arrow pointing to the right likes flexibility and flow; you take in your environment & food in an unstructured way; however, it does that best when it's in an environment that it knows/feels comfortable in (your bottom left arrow pointing to the left). When you got sick, you followed that desire to return to somewhere known! You listened to your body & energetic needs. When we add in your bottom right arrow pointing left, it's provides the lesson of asking for and standing for what you want - it helped you to plan out the specifics of the trip. And, finally, your top right arrow pointing right represents your awareness - you may have found yourself taking in all the sights and smells, wandering around feeling excited by the vastness of your environment? There isn't a "right" or a "wrong" when it comes to "rightness" or "leftness". It's the awareness of the differences in our perspectives that's important. With having two arrows pointing in each direction, for you, it's about honouring both the structure and the flexibility of each quality. Neither is right or wrong, both are what create your unique energy!

Double right facing arrows here :D When it comes to travel, I will plan the "necessary" things. For example, I travelled this year to Texas from Canada for a retreat. My planning all had to do with making sure I have the right documents prepared to get back into the country, where to get a test in Texas, when I should go for the test, etc. But when I'm actually away and travelling? All that preplanning allows me to enjoy the experience in the way that I want to 💛 I just want to vibe and connect with people
As a quad left, if anyone asked me when I did not know HD I would have said I was a quad right. Hate prep, love to plan trips, but only so I can surprise people and have unplanned experiences. I have a bottom left left facing arrow as well. Thought, I LOVE traveling to new locations and try not to visit the same place twice, I thrive in new countries BUT... I am like you, I need to preplan, learn the language, scope everything out, read the menus of restaurants I want to go to, check out locations on street view to figure my way around before going. I love learning about new countries and usually go off the beaten path - pre scoped out of course LOL. I don't like tour groups and prefer to venture on my own. I don't think it's controlling the journey, but a process of learning and integrating myself into the experience of it all. The people I travel with love this way of traveling also - they must have the same facing arrow lol.

Like when you were talking about the travel - I way more related to the left facing arrow energy. I'm a mega planner and love planning trips to down to very last detail! But then I looked back and the few times when I didn't plan or I let myself go with the flow while out and about traveling in the world are the times when I meet the most interesting people and when connection and magic seems to happen. But thinking of booking a one-way ticket somewhere terrifies me lololol.
Yes - our experiences and the influences in our lives can definitely condition us (including our arrows)! If you had to take on responsibility to feel safe or if it was expected of you, for sure these variables could have been conditioned. If booking a one-way ticket without plans terrifies you, start smaller 😊 Play with an unstructured day on the weekend, or something in-between like (when we can travel/if you're somewhere that you can) plan your arrival, first night, and departure, but leave the middle un/less structured (which sounds terrifying to my one left facing arrow!). And HD is an experiment - play with it to the degree that you desire/feels comfortable! 💗

Hello! I hope this message finds you well 💓 So, I had a quick question, is it possible for our “blueprint” to be one way, but life has taught us to be another way? Some of the rigidity you speak on for the left facing arrows isn’t really how I live my life and I do know I like the freedom to move through life like I want. Yet, I also know there’s always an internal war between my mind and my spirit lol. My mind seems to like the predictability, but my soul likes to go with the flow and have variety.😩 So, essentially I’m wondering the best way to implement this information into my daily life to find that balance/flow.
I have all right arrows! As for food - I can eat the same Breakfast every day EXCEPT weekends! idk what it is but I’m repulsed by my usual breakfast on saturdays and sundays. On mondays I’m back at it. And I generally have to switch up lunch and dinner every few weeks. I love the idea of meal prep because it’s practical like you said. But I have been known to totally ignore pre-planned food. For traveling - if I’m out of the country I love having a tour guide / locals only because I feel like that’s how I get the most out of a place. I love learning about where I am. But in general I like to do a basic plan and if that changes while we’re there - cool! If someone else wants to take the lead and plan every moment - even better! I just like being along for the ride lol

I have a bottom facing right arrow and I resonate more with the left facing arrow, as far as travel goes. But as far as environment for example in my home, I can be spontaneous with decor and deciding one day to re-paint a room or redecorate often. I like changing my environment often in that regard. I’m home a lot and get “bored” staring at the same things all the time.
My top arrow faces left and meal prep is nice but I like variety. I am planning a vacation right now for Florida in June and I have been planning this vacation for about eight months down to the meals and the restaurants that we should visit. My bottom arrow faces right I am the complete opposite of everything that I’m supposed to be. Oh, and everyone calls me a control freak when I’m on vacation when I need things in order. I literally love labels around my house because everything has a place. However, when it comes to like exercise or diet or fasting, I just go with the flow and my top arrow like I said faces left.

My arrows are exactly opposite to yours. lol Left on everything but environment. :) I am left on food, but have a hard time with food planning. Maybe it would help my digestion if I worked on it. I guess I need to experiment with it. I do have the tendency to be singularly focused. I will space out while people are talking if I try and focus on ANYthing else. 😳 I do find that I am more spontaneous with where I go and when I go as far as environment. It seems more fun that way! I am usually down for a sudden rendezvous or trip, if my schedule allows and I feel well and up for it or like the person asking.

@@TheSimplyCa Light or Direct. Tone 2/Taste. I am finding that I have some preferred things, usually fairly simple things. And I really enjoy that. (Grab and go, so to speak.) I prefer if it is not pre-prepped by ME. lol I have been experimenting with healthy frozen dinners. I am sure I could be healthier in this, but this is a big step for me. I don't like to cook, except occasionally, I get 'inspired'. So instead of unhealthy grab and go, I am leaning toward healthier grab and go. EVENTUALLY, I'd love to hire someone for super healthy stuff, but one step at a time.
Yes - we do what we can to get started! Since you are Direct and Taste - I'd suggest not putting too much pressure on yourself to have a big dinner and really play with what smells good to you!
My top left arrow points right and bottom left arrow points left. I think there's a lot of work for me to decondition. Food is a biggy for me! I tend to eat to fuel generator conditioning, then feel disappointed (or even angry 😉) that I feel stuffed and lethargic. It (the overworking and overeating) kills my energy. Also "control freak" totally been blamed for this, and made to feel bad about it, but I can now see that it was a need that others couldn't/wouldn't meet. I can ask myself...how can I meet my need for security and safety? Would fasting suit a right top left arrow?
Great insights here! When it comes to your top left arrow pointing to the right, if it serves you, lean into eating intuitively...if that means fasting, you can give it a try. However, that arrow is about freedom and flexibility so, while fasting may work one day, three days later, you may feel called to eat larger meals. Give yourself the freedom to really tune into what your body needs to feel nurtured.

My Bottom left is left facing.. so when going some place new, not necessarily traveling- maybe this would explain things like needing to know the parking situation, who/how many people will be there, an idea of whet we’re doing etc to prepare mentally.. top arrow is right, & food is one of my least concerns…often forget to eat until I’m hangry 😅
Quick question i have noticed that if i get an HD chart from Jovian i have a different set of arrows than with other hd apps. Which one is the most reliable. In the Jovian website i am a DLL PRL and in other apps I am a DRL PLL. Both time and place of birth are correct. Any thoughts?

I have my bottom left facing inward, to the right. So far I have always preferred to know where I’m going and how long and who is there. It’s funny, now practicing Human Deign, I’m getting more comfortable with the spontaneity and it feels right.
It can also depend on what the other arrows are saying for you - and check your Environment Type (one of my newer videos) because that can share some insight into the quality of the space you feel most comfortable in (even with that right-facing Environment arrow). And yes, sometimes, it's about learning that our energy does well while observing and allowing the flow to carry us!
omg 3 of my 4 arrows are pointing to left! :D only arrow that turns to right is about the digestion where I need to be 'flow' with food. I really cant do meal prep lol
There could be other pieces that lean towards structure, or, there could be some conditioning that has created a desire for that structure. It's not wrong to resonate with the opposite! This is just information to bring awareness and play with 💗 Maybe it will shift your experience, and maybe you actually prefer your current ways. I have more variables videos that dig deeper and might help bring more understanding to this.
I have left facing digestion but I express everything that the right facing digestion expresses. I feel more resonating to the right facing digestion. All my arrows are left except by bottom left arrow and structure has been such a struggle for me to grasp lol.

I love that parents are interested in HD! It really helps set the children along the path that nurtures their energy. Even though you don't require structure, recognize where your son does need it and provide that for him.
I have a bottom left left facing arrow, but I don't resonate with this at all. Super odd. I'm very adventurous, love last minute new places and spontaneity. Now that I am a Mom and wife I can't do 1 way tickets , but thay sounds exciting. 🤷♀️ I resonate with all you said on the upper arrow though!
I have the top left pointing left. I can't think of anything worse that meal prep. I can't bear being bound to routinely eating. My birth time may be slightly out. How much do these arrows change with minutes of birth time?
The variables are more impacted by the exact time than some of the other aspects of the chart. That said, these are guides that help us to step into and own what we innately know about ourselves, but has been conditioned out of us - so if something doesn't land for you, there could either be something behind that, or it could just not be for you to integrate.
Question: So I am all left except environment. So I think what I get from this is: plan meals and have set meal times. (At least roughly.) Don't plan the rest of my day and go with the flow. Like...Have a list of what I need to do...but do it as inspired and if I suddenly want to do something....do it. (Follow inspired actions.) Am I understanding that correctly? Or is that backwards? I need a timed plan for my day (like time blocks) with lists that I can move freely in?
I'm going to turn that back on you to experiment with 🙂 Do you notice a sense of freedom or a sense of restriction when you time-block your day, but allow space to follow inspired action? Like setting meal pillars, a list, and allowing flow within that. My partner's arrows are like yours and I notice his energy flows best when he knows what to expect in a day, and he's free to get moving right away - he isn't waiting on me. He also needs my understanding that sometimes he might need to be late or cancel plans if his energy/focus shifts.
@@TheSimplyCa Interesting. I do find that how I start my day is how my energy typically runs in that day. So if I try and meditate and do 'slow' work, I tend to want to stay in that energy all day and have a hard time 'GO'ing, so if I want to GO, I need to start the day that way. Does your partner experience that as well, I wonder? As far as the rest, I don't know. I was hoping for a place to start experimenting though. LOL Thanks for the response!!!
It sounds like you have a great place to start with your experiment! The nice thing about the variables is that they build on each other in a counter-clockwise way. Building structure in the consistency of your day and food will help you open up the fluidity of your environment :)
I would love to know more about the observed/observer aspect of this. Like...are most really famous people observed? Can you do well with things that depend on being seen as an observer? Like being a social media influencer. Stuff like that. I have not seen ANYONE talk about this. I mean maybe it's out there, but I have yet to find it.

I found out yesterday I have a gate that has something to do with being a celebrity. Which I admit, I have been drawn to since I was little...like somehow feeling as though I would be. So, that makes sense. I am still confused about how the observer thing fits in, but I guess I'll figure it out eventually.
Firstly, NOTHING is impossible based on design/etc. The way in which we go about it could be different whether observed or observer, but it's possible either way. If there's something calling to you, work with your natural strengths and energy in that direction and your unique way will unfold 💗 Can you remind me your arrow pattern?
I have the bottom left left facing arrow and I get really stressed when I don't know exactly what to expect when it comes to my environment. Funnily enough, most of my kids have their arrow facing the opposite direction, except for my daughter.
Our current society is definitely set up for more left-facing lifestyles! There are so many components, but I'm curious what you notice in your energy when you allow and move with the flow of energy. The beautify of HD is that it's an experiment - it gives you the information and then you get to play with what works with your energy. 💗

That top left arrow has a lot of information within it! Like all systems, some parts of it might work for you and other parts might not. It's ok for some pieces to not work for you! The top left arrow speaks to your "brain" and your "digestion (ingestion)". Your brain is always "on" and active. Having some structures might help, but other structures might not. It's important to ensure you are "fueling" your brain.

I have all my arrows to left, but no one calls me control freak. I'm still messy. Regarding travel, especially through Europe, usually I just make a timespan, collecting a lot of information (transportation, hotel, location, cost, events, etc) then make checklist and priorities. So, I can be spontaneous within the timespan without feeling restricted.
It sounds like you're living in alignment with your energy 🌟 When we know ourselves and we embrace our energy, we feel a flow within ourselves and those we interact with.
I'm a projector and my determination is consecutive. For me, it doesn't mean to eat only one thing in a meal, but rather not mixing the different parts of the meal. For instance in a whole meal like arabic couscous, as a child I was crazy about having the different parts neatly stacked separately in my plate, versus the veggies and meat on the top of the semolina like everyone else, and although everyone was insisting I should have it that way. Then I would eat them in my own order, a little bit of this then a little bit of that in a consecutive way. Not blend at all, but rather contrasting the different tastes and textures. And always leaving the one I liked best to the end. To this day I still highly enjoy having a tray of different nibbles that I eat separately or simply paired in my own order. For instance I would prepare green salad, cheese, berries, maybe some meat, and walnuts, and have them either alone or paired differently at different moments of the meal - bread and cheese, or cheese and lettuce, meat and yoghurt, yoghurt and cucumber, nuts and cheese, or nuts and lettuce... Never everything altogether.

I think these are points of reflection for us - sometimes we do something one way because of how we were raised or due to an experience we've had; sometimes it's actually true for us! HD isn't here to prescribe or direct anything, it's a tool to use to explore how to optimize our energy - it gives us questions to ask and try out! 💗
I have a left facing bottom left arrow but I am SO “right facing”!!! I like to travel alone exactly because I don’t like to have my spontaneity “interrupted” by someone who freaks out about changing plans or being “scared” about new circumstances! True that I had been with a friend to the Sahara first, but I then sold everything and moved there “alone” to live with the natives and experience their way of living, and to organize walking tours in the desert for other people to discover it too! Then again, I am a Manifestor 3/5! 😂

I’ve just recently discovered human design and found out my arrows are quad left which I was really shocked to find because I believe I’ve been living like I have more rightness through conditioning (if that makes sense?). This is great! When I turned this video on, I was cleaning a batch of greens for a few days worth of smoothies (prepping-top, left, left facing arrow). All but one arrow are left facing in my chart. The left, bottom faces right and I would never go on a trip with a group; I just love letting things unfold day-to-day, but I would probably eat the same thing because I am so routine-oriented and love structure. For example, my partner and I were traveling in a foreign country and did not speak the language. We decided one day to stop staying in small hotels and buy a tent and camp. We found camp sites by using the symbols in a camping guide book (that we could not read). It was so much fun, but if I was home and did not have bananas for my smoothie, I'd be really stressed out! This really never made any sense to me. This information really helps!
Awesome sauce! My environment arrow points to the right and yes I love the travel analogy and i often travel to focus, test, experiment with an income stream, and even to heal physically or spiritually. The digestion arrow points to the right and it's spot on! While meal prep hasn't taken hold yet (hmm) I can totally have the same meal for breakfast/lunch til infinity and leftovers are a welcome result of a cooking session.

I'm also a quad left and quite the control freak. It wasn't until recently that I even realized I needed so much order to feel comfortable. It go against my free spirited nature (or so I thought) I just realized if it's planned and orderly i can be even more wild and free
I have the bottom left arrow pointing in the right (the other 3 are left in my chart) and I LOVE change, travelling, spontaneity, I love being in new environments that feel exciting to me. This truly does expand my energy field. My husband, on the other side, has a left-facing arrow. He is a little bit of a control freak when it comes to securing everything, although I am very cautious when it comes to flights and airports and also want to know the gate I am departing from ;) I am definitely more relaxed in general and love to go with the flow. For this reason, I often prefer travelling alone, although this hasn't happened for a while

I have a bottom left, left facing arrow. I am controlling in my home environment but not so much with travel. I need “known” initial destinations (such as hotel on day 1) but then am far more spontaneous like the right facing arrow. This means two things to me: 1) I see why I am somewhat rigid in my home environment. It is my sanctuary and makes that important to me for relaxation. 2) it makes me reflect a bit further on my actions for travel. Is the way I am responding an old pattern of disempowerment playing out as a “go with the flow good girl, compliant and fluid (not because it’s a preference but due to conditioning) OR do I actually prefer the spontaneity and flow? Great contemplation point for me. Thanks for the overview. Very helpful to have these bite-sized nuggets of detail in this complex study of HD. 🙏🏻

left bottom facing right ( 2/4 projector) - moved around as a child and enjoyed that, very spontaneous still , hitchhiked and backpacked in my teens, have lived in 7 us states as an adult, enjoy variable scenery and location changes daily, in and out at home.. prefer to travel for work, have tried on many employers, often very last minute in planning road trips, absolutely do thrive in new environments and situations and have always recognized that i do better on the go, out and about at least. I am the throw it in a bag and catch the next flight type, weekend trips exploring my state and surroundings ... I can almost always be lured with spontaneous travel or opportunity
This clarity is great! I resonate with this so much. My top left facing arrow and bottom right facing arrow make so much more sense to me now. I definitely prefer more structure when it comes to food and i love eating out a new restaurants to satisfy the need for taking in new energy in new environments. It never make much sense to me how my husband can go to the same restuarant millions of times but once i go about 3 times, I'm over it lol.
Left bottom arrow for environment -- totally hilarious -- I love structure & order, but I'm also adventurous & spontaneous. Here's the thing, in terms of travel: I was an Int'l flight attendant, so I would grab the 'speaker' (the one who knew the language), and run around that city having fun. Maybe knowing I only had so many hours before we all met for dinner or so little time to explore before we left to fly home, actually helped me to be relaxed & motivated to go all over. But YES, the structure built in to this unstructured environment definitely mattered (to me)! haha You did a great job explaining. THANKS

The top one is right and the bottom is left. I eat from the afternoon to late at night, but I snack eat during those times. Now my environment I have to have a plan so my body will be ready for it. Thanks for the info
This is excellent! It has really been helpful to me. I have two right-facing arrows on the left side. I live alone, and since lockdown, I have been mostly grazing. So much advice tells you that you have to eat at certain times. I’ve been concerned about that. Now I know that I’m really going with my natural energy. And, yes, I HATE to meal prep. I’ve always known I like to travel with just a light plan.

My husband and I both have our left arrows pointing right. The bottom left cracked me up because it’s so true! We used to live in fl, but we started getting bored with our environment so we decided to pack it up and leave everything. No plan. We didn’t even know where we were going. With $70 to our name, we just started driving. We were nomads for 2 years in California, living out of our car with a dog and 2 cats. It was an adventure. After that, we found ourselves living in Minnesota. We’ve been renting our current house for 6 or 7 years. Starting to get bored again and have already notified our landlord. Again, no plan. I guess we’ll see where we end up next lol.
bottom left, left facing arrow, and I definitely want everything to be planned for travel. I like to have structure. I enjoy the tourism part immensely and tend to be very free and open about it, but the travel part is too stressful, too many variables that could go wrong. It didn't bother me as much growing up and I grew up in a household where we traveled most summers. But as an adult and traveling alone or in small groups, I always felt stressed and needed the structure

I have right facing digestion and environment, and if I know there might be a reason for a mess or for something I don't like, I can allow it. And I trust that if I need to address it, then I will get the opportunity :) My other two arrows are facing left, and I have procrastinated on art projects and science projects, but then when I finally decide to do it, I did it faster and better than any of my peers!
My arrows are exactly the same as yours! For me and travel, I need to have a few places pre planned to feel comfortable like dinners or know some places I want to shop at and then the rest can be more flexible..I also feel more comfortable if i can bring familiar things like a yoga mat or things that make me feel more at home.

Hi! Thank you for your the clarity you provided for us all. My top arrows are both pointing right, while the bottom arrows point left. Two years ago, I went to Japan all by myself for a three week trip, travelling across the country. I felt the need to preplan most of it, and so I scheduled my transport to each destination beforehand. I looked up all local foods for those regions and some cool things to do. When i arrived at one of the last destinations, I was really tired and a bit ill. I slept for a few hours and decided I did not like this city and hotel I was in. I decided to move to another destination. That’s when my brain got stuck: I wasn’t panicking, but I felt overwhelmed by the options...and ended up going back to Kyoto, where I had already spent three days. So: yes! I can relate, to the planning, to the overwhelmed feeling when it didn’t feel right...and got back to what I knew. (I was a bit sad for doing so afterwards, but at the moment it felt like the best choice.) So, thank you for sharing! I really learned a lot more about myself.
I am still wondering how my top right arrows and bottom left arrows will work together, especially moving into the upcoming shift towards a more right direction.

From this example, I can see how your first two arrows work together. The top left arrow pointing to the right likes flexibility and flow; you take in your environment & food in an unstructured way; however, it does that best when it's in an environment that it knows/feels comfortable in (your bottom left arrow pointing to the left). When you got sick, you followed that desire to return to somewhere known! You listened to your body & energetic needs.
When we add in your bottom right arrow pointing left, it's provides the lesson of asking for and standing for what you want - it helped you to plan out the specifics of the trip.
And, finally, your top right arrow pointing right represents your awareness - you may have found yourself taking in all the sights and smells, wandering around feeling excited by the vastness of your environment?
There isn't a "right" or a "wrong" when it comes to "rightness" or "leftness". It's the awareness of the differences in our perspectives that's important. With having two arrows pointing in each direction, for you, it's about honouring both the structure and the flexibility of each quality. Neither is right or wrong, both are what create your unique energy!

When it comes to travel, I will plan the "necessary" things. For example, I travelled this year to Texas from Canada for a retreat. My planning all had to do with making sure I have the right documents prepared to get back into the country, where to get a test in Texas, when I should go for the test, etc.
But when I'm actually away and travelling? All that preplanning allows me to enjoy the experience in the way that I want to 💛 I just want to vibe and connect with people

As a quad left, if anyone asked me when I did not know HD I would have said I was a quad right. Hate prep, love to plan trips, but only so I can surprise people and have unplanned experiences. I have a bottom left left facing arrow as well. Thought, I LOVE traveling to new locations and try not to visit the same place twice, I thrive in new countries BUT... I am like you, I need to preplan, learn the language, scope everything out, read the menus of restaurants I want to go to, check out locations on street view to figure my way around before going. I love learning about new countries and usually go off the beaten path - pre scoped out of course LOL. I don't like tour groups and prefer to venture on my own. I don't think it's controlling the journey, but a process of learning and integrating myself into the experience of it all. The people I travel with love this way of traveling also - they must have the same facing arrow lol.
I LOVE this self-awareness and application of your bottom left arrow!! Yes - it's not that we don't enjoy newness, but being an active participant in the environment includes an awareness of the location 💗

Like when you were talking about the travel - I way more related to the left facing arrow energy. I'm a mega planner and love planning trips to down to very last detail! But then I looked back and the few times when I didn't plan or I let myself go with the flow while out and about traveling in the world are the times when I meet the most interesting people and when connection and magic seems to happen. But thinking of booking a one-way ticket somewhere terrifies me lololol.

Yes - our experiences and the influences in our lives can definitely condition us (including our arrows)! If you had to take on responsibility to feel safe or if it was expected of you, for sure these variables could have been conditioned.
If booking a one-way ticket without plans terrifies you, start smaller 😊 Play with an unstructured day on the weekend, or something in-between like (when we can travel/if you're somewhere that you can) plan your arrival, first night, and departure, but leave the middle un/less structured (which sounds terrifying to my one left facing arrow!).
And HD is an experiment - play with it to the degree that you desire/feels comfortable! 💗

Hello! I hope this message finds you well 💓 So, I had a quick question, is it possible for our “blueprint” to be one way, but life has taught us to be another way? Some of the rigidity you speak on for the left facing arrows isn’t really how I live my life and I do know I like the freedom to move through life like I want. Yet, I also know there’s always an internal war between my mind and my spirit lol. My mind seems to like the predictability, but my soul likes to go with the flow and have variety.😩 So, essentially I’m wondering the best way to implement this information into my daily life to find that balance/flow.

Breakfast every day EXCEPT weekends! idk what it is but I’m repulsed by my usual breakfast on saturdays and sundays. On mondays I’m back at it. And I generally have to switch up lunch and dinner every few weeks. I love the idea of meal prep because it’s practical like you said. But I have been known to totally ignore pre-planned food.
For traveling - if I’m out of the country I love having a tour guide / locals only because I feel like that’s how I get the most out of a place. I love learning about where I am. But in general I like to do a basic plan and if that changes while we’re there - cool! If someone else wants to take the lead and plan every moment - even better! I just like being along for the ride lol

I have a bottom facing right arrow and I resonate more with the left facing arrow, as far as travel goes. But as far as environment for example in my home, I can be spontaneous with decor and deciding one day to re-paint a room or redecorate often. I like changing my environment often in that regard. I’m home a lot and get “bored” staring at the same things all the time.

My top arrow faces left and meal prep is nice but I like variety. I am planning a vacation right now for Florida in June and I have been planning this vacation for about eight months down to the meals and the restaurants that we should visit. My bottom arrow faces right I am the complete opposite of everything that I’m supposed to be. Oh, and everyone calls me a control freak when I’m on vacation when I need things in order. I literally love labels around my house because everything has a place. However, when it comes to like exercise or diet or fasting, I just go with the flow and my top arrow like I said faces left.

I am left on food, but have a hard time with food planning. Maybe it would help my digestion if I worked on it. I guess I need to experiment with it.
I do have the tendency to be singularly focused. I will space out while people are talking if I try and focus on ANYthing else. 😳
I do find that I am more spontaneous with where I go and when I go as far as environment. It seems more fun that way! I am usually down for a sudden rendezvous or trip, if my schedule allows and I feel well and up for it or like the person asking.

I prefer if it is not pre-prepped by ME. lol I have been experimenting with healthy frozen dinners. I am sure I could be healthier in this, but this is a big step for me. I don't like to cook, except occasionally, I get 'inspired'. So instead of unhealthy grab and go, I am leaning toward healthier grab and go. EVENTUALLY, I'd love to hire someone for super healthy stuff, but one step at a time.
Yes - we do what we can to get started! Since you are Direct and Taste - I'd suggest not putting too much pressure on yourself to have a big dinner and really play with what smells good to you!
My top left arrow points right and bottom left arrow points left. I think there's a lot of work for me to decondition. Food is a biggy for me! I tend to eat to fuel generator conditioning, then feel disappointed (or even angry 😉) that I feel stuffed and lethargic. It (the overworking and overeating) kills my energy. Also "control freak" totally been blamed for this, and made to feel bad about it, but I can now see that it was a need that others couldn't/wouldn't meet. I can ask myself...how can I meet my need for security and safety?
Would fasting suit a right top left arrow?

When it comes to your top left arrow pointing to the right, if it serves you, lean into eating intuitively...if that means fasting, you can give it a try. However, that arrow is about freedom and flexibility so, while fasting may work one day, three days later, you may feel called to eat larger meals. Give yourself the freedom to really tune into what your body needs to feel nurtured.

My Bottom left is left facing.. so when going some place new, not necessarily traveling- maybe this would explain things like needing to know the parking situation, who/how many people will be there, an idea of whet we’re doing etc to prepare mentally.. top arrow is right, & food is one of my least concerns…often forget to eat until I’m hangry 😅

Quick question i have noticed that if i get an HD chart from Jovian i have a different set of arrows than with other hd apps. Which one is the most reliable. In the Jovian website i am a DLL PRL and in other apps I am a DRL PLL. Both time and place of birth are correct. Any thoughts?

Hello, is there a right dieting style to lose weight depending on the variables?
I have my bottom left facing inward, to the right. So far I have always preferred to know where I’m going and how long and who is there. It’s funny, now practicing Human Deign, I’m getting more comfortable with the spontaneity and it feels right.
It can also depend on what the other arrows are saying for you - and check your Environment Type (one of my newer videos) because that can share some insight into the quality of the space you feel most comfortable in (even with that right-facing Environment arrow).
And yes, sometimes, it's about learning that our energy does well while observing and allowing the flow to carry us!
omg 3 of my 4 arrows are pointing to left! :D only arrow that turns to right is about the digestion where I need to be 'flow' with food. I really cant do meal prep lol

My bottom left arrow is right facing and I resonate MUCH more with left facing qualities.
There could be other pieces that lean towards structure, or, there could be some conditioning that has created a desire for that structure. It's not wrong to resonate with the opposite! This is just information to bring awareness and play with 💗 Maybe it will shift your experience, and maybe you actually prefer your current ways. I have more variables videos that dig deeper and might help bring more understanding to this.
I have left facing digestion but I express everything that the right facing digestion expresses. I feel more resonating to the right facing digestion. All my arrows are left except by bottom left arrow and structure has been such a struggle for me to grasp lol.

I love that parents are interested in HD! It really helps set the children along the path that nurtures their energy. Even though you don't require structure, recognize where your son does need it and provide that for him.

I have a bottom left left facing arrow, but I don't resonate with this at all. Super odd. I'm very adventurous, love last minute new places and spontaneity. Now that I am a Mom and wife I can't do 1 way tickets , but thay sounds exciting. 🤷♀️ I resonate with all you said on the upper arrow though!
I have the top left pointing left. I can't think of anything worse that meal prep. I can't bear being bound to routinely eating. My birth time may be slightly out. How much do these arrows change with minutes of birth time?
The variables are more impacted by the exact time than some of the other aspects of the chart. That said, these are guides that help us to step into and own what we innately know about ourselves, but has been conditioned out of us - so if something doesn't land for you, there could either be something behind that, or it could just not be for you to integrate.
Question: So I am all left except environment. So I think what I get from this is: plan meals and have set meal times. (At least roughly.) Don't plan the rest of my day and go with the flow. Like...Have a list of what I need to do...but do it as inspired and if I suddenly want to do something....do it. (Follow inspired actions.) Am I understanding that correctly? Or is that backwards? I need a timed plan for my day (like time blocks) with lists that I can move freely in?
I'm going to turn that back on you to experiment with 🙂 Do you notice a sense of freedom or a sense of restriction when you time-block your day, but allow space to follow inspired action? Like setting meal pillars, a list, and allowing flow within that.
My partner's arrows are like yours and I notice his energy flows best when he knows what to expect in a day, and he's free to get moving right away - he isn't waiting on me. He also needs my understanding that sometimes he might need to be late or cancel plans if his energy/focus shifts.
@@TheSimplyCa Interesting. I do find that how I start my day is how my energy typically runs in that day. So if I try and meditate and do 'slow' work, I tend to want to stay in that energy all day and have a hard time 'GO'ing, so if I want to GO, I need to start the day that way. Does your partner experience that as well, I wonder? As far as the rest, I don't know. I was hoping for a place to start experimenting though. LOL Thanks for the response!!!
It sounds like you have a great place to start with your experiment! The nice thing about the variables is that they build on each other in a counter-clockwise way. Building structure in the consistency of your day and food will help you open up the fluidity of your environment :)

I would love to know more about the observed/observer aspect of this. Like...are most really famous people observed? Can you do well with things that depend on being seen as an observer? Like being a social media influencer. Stuff like that. I have not seen ANYONE talk about this. I mean maybe it's out there, but I have yet to find it.

I found out yesterday I have a gate that has something to do with being a celebrity. Which I admit, I have been drawn to since I was little...like somehow feeling as though I would be. So, that makes sense. I am still confused about how the observer thing fits in, but I guess I'll figure it out eventually.
Firstly, NOTHING is impossible based on design/etc. The way in which we go about it could be different whether observed or observer, but it's possible either way.
If there's something calling to you, work with your natural strengths and energy in that direction and your unique way will unfold 💗

Our current society is definitely set up for more left-facing lifestyles! There are so many components, but I'm curious what you notice in your energy when you allow and move with the flow of energy. That top left arrow has a lot of information within it! Like all systems, some parts of it might work for you and other parts might not. It's ok for some pieces to not work for you!
The top left arrow speaks to your "brain" and your "digestion (ingestion)". Your brain is always "on" and active. Having some structures might help, but other structures might not. It's important to ensure you are "fueling" your brain.

I have all my arrows to left, but no one calls me control freak. I'm still messy. Regarding travel, especially through Europe, usually I just make a timespan, collecting a lot of information (transportation, hotel, location, cost, events, etc) then make checklist and priorities. So, I can be spontaneous within the timespan without feeling restricted.
It sounds like you're living in alignment with your energy 🌟 When we know ourselves and we embrace our energy, we feel a flow within ourselves and those we interact with.
I'm a projector and my determination is consecutive. For me, it doesn't mean to eat only one thing in a meal, but rather not mixing the different parts of the meal. For instance in a whole meal like arabic couscous, as a child I was crazy about having the different parts neatly stacked separately in my plate, versus the veggies and meat on the top of the semolina like everyone else, and although everyone was insisting I should have it that way. Then I would eat them in my own order, a little bit of this then a little bit of that in a consecutive way. Not blend at all, but rather contrasting the different tastes and textures. And always leaving the one I liked best to the end. To this day I still highly enjoy having a tray of different nibbles that I eat separately or simply paired in my own order. For instance I would prepare green salad, cheese, berries, maybe some meat, and walnuts, and have them either alone or paired differently at different moments of the meal - bread and cheese, or cheese and lettuce, meat and yoghurt, yoghurt and cucumber, nuts and cheese, or nuts and lettuce... Never everything altogether.

When it comes to Reflectors and the moon cycle, I see it as important to test things out from different energies and perspectives and to allow time for big decisions. When it comes to Quad Rights, it's about giving yourself the freedom to move with the flow of energy.

I think these are points of reflection for us - sometimes we do something one way because of how we were raised or due to an experience we've had; sometimes it's actually true for us!
