i dont know why but many of them dont like concept of vatan in nonveg dishes . For them a saying in Puneri Marathi " Gadhavala gulachi chav kai kalnar , Gadhav te gadav . " Dhaniya and dry coconut ka green colour hota hey woh , cut karke sprinkle nahi karte nonveg dishes meh . that is done in veg dishes .
I tried this today and i am a big fan of chef sanjyot keer (SK), one thing i have learnt over years following his cooking, is that, when it comes to mutton, SK will make you work hard. I mean please don't go on length of the video, actual process may start at 12 and go on till 4pm at times. Now coming to this dish, i followed the instructions to the T and realised that, output, while visually stunning, was actually not worth the effort. I mean even with green watan, home prepared garam masala , and almost 4 hrs of total cooking time, not to mention, the overnight marination, the taste wasn't really that great. Further, i believe some things were just for asthetics, for instance, making kasuri methi and garam masala tadka in ghee and putting it in mutton, really didn't enhance the taste as it should have! I had a working Saturday and was looking forward to an amazing lunch on Sunday, but sadly, i realised, i had lost almost entire day! :(. I thought perhaps that amazing taste of mutton curry may bring relief to my feeling of loosing out on a Sunday, but sadly, i got more depressed! And felt may be it wasn't worth it. I would still take it on me and would believe that something was lacking on my part, that dish didn't turn out that great.. Nevertheless SK is an amazing chef, i have had amazing sucess with almost all his recipes. Respect and love to SK, keep rocking brother, today it just wasn't my cup of tea. I followed your recipe, step-by-step. The curry turned out too good. Everyone loved it. We dry roast the kopra and grind it with other roasted spices and fried onion.
My mom cooks everything on waaf (that is steam) be it chicken , mutton , fish (prawns gravy) and so on ... Maharashtra has diversified cooking and watan is one of them ... as I being Agri we use lot of dry coconut in curries and vegetables similarly lot of onions and garlic to add extra flavours ... tandulachi bhakri is our staple food ( agri style ) ... loved watching your video and moreover your presentation and everything is perfect 👌👌

wow... actually me mutton nahi khata tha par apke dono method se banane ke bad khana chalu kaiya..ek kala mutton nd apka ye wala mutton recipes... really owsm style to cook..🙏🙏
Here many are disturbed because of lengthy process i would suggest some jst to make it easy use pressure cooker instead of wasting gas for an hour and about masala no need to heat it in pan use a jar put onion garlic ginger cumin badi ilaichi dhaniya (khadi dhaniya) tej patta daal chini choti ilaichi and extra masala if u really feel to add in it like kasturi methi and all but usually dont use extreme masala make fine paste using some water in jar and after fried onion put masala in it and turmeric in jar u can also use totally dry red chilli it will be easiest and put masala in a very minimum quantity jst remember coriander should be more in quantity like 2 and half spoon ...it will be easiest
Sanjyot you know Maharashtrian Style very well. Everytime I watch your videos I am amazed by the Perfection. My Dadi used to cook mutton the same way, just the Masala she used to use contained dry khobra & Sesame seed. Will surely try this next time

Sanjyot you know Maharashtrian Style very well. Everytime I watch your videos I am amazed by the Perfection. My Dadi used to cook mutton the same way, just the Masala she used to use contained dry khobra & Sesame seed. Will surely try this next time
