A "triathalon" style challenge would be good to watch. Rather than building a drag/drift/time attack car you have to build a car that can do all three & make decision/compromises to be better in one and worse in another. Gives more decisions to be made and more events to do (more content)

Extreme budget time attack! Doesn't matter if its dirt, gravel or tarmac, I wanna see cheap cars being purchased and immediately rung for all they've got as a benchmark and then I want y'all to attempt to make free or trade/barter mods to them and improve their times.
How about an endurance race ?
Maybe an hour long. Each driver has a minimum of time of 20 mins . With two mandatory pit stops.

Rotary vs Piston engine endurance race would be interesting.
It's a common saying about the 787B that it's rotary engine could've did the 24 hours at Le Mans several times over on one engine while the other conventional blocks would've blown up.
Find cheap cars and do an endurance race.

Cheap slow cars are fun to drag race. Fast cars become terrifying and expensive lol ..... In MY Opinion.
Applies to the track to tbh. Buying a $1300 set of tires and $600+ brake pads gets old fast.

People always poo poo drag racing as "only going in a straight line", yet when you actually do it with a car that isn't really setup for drag racing (especially in a manual trans, non-AWD car) it's actually very hard to get a good clean run. Which is why going 11's in a streetcar is impressive. Most people who're relatively green to dragracing rarely ever go faster than 12's, unless it's dead simple car to do it in (a Tesla for example would be hard to mess up). Go to a dragstrip on a Friday night and watch 6 speed 5.0 Mustangs go 13.50's at 106 if you don't believe me lol.

I would love to see a road trip where you guys have to go off the road, or just driving in conditions that require AWD. Like a journey as far north as a car can go, or across a desert.
I feel like the road trips you guys do are the next generation of top-gear/grand-tour and I love them.

It was nice getting a closure video for this face off! I do miss seeing more of the vids on the car scene and culture, and car meets though. Those always gave me goosebump’s
Reaction time doesn't add into the quartermile time, you know right? You can sit at the start for a minute and go and the quarter mile time will still be whatever seconds it can pull. But it is still crucial because you might lose the heads-up race against a slower car with a crappy reaction time.
Correct, that’s a common misconception with people new to drag racing. I’d like to add most new people to drag racing tend to lose alot of time at the 60ft. The objective is to get the 60ft down and if manual get good shifts. One of the main reasons most drag cars are automatic is to just focus on the launch and the trans takes care of the rest.

Watching Charles & Paul work on the Civic was like waking up in an alternate universe, but made this was a cool series to follow. Great collaboration between three of my favorite channels. If you guys somehow got together with SavageGeese I think it would be a sign of the apocalypse (in a good way).

Would be super cool to see land-speed runs along the lines of Bonneville. In the interest of safety/budget, maybe set a power limit so speeds don't get too dangerous, and put the focus on making the cars as aerodynamic as possible. Love the collaboration with Humble!

More drag racing! A series dedicated to building up a car (maybe the civic?) and improving as drivers would be cools to see.
As a Mustang GT owner, I always found drag racing to look a bit dull. But this video makes me want to take my car to a drag strip

pro tip for launching in any manual, drop clutch to about half way through the engagement zone, then after you start going, quickly slip the clutch out all the way. doing this will save your mounts, axles, and bushings. however it will wear out more material on the clutch, though it wears more evenly so it lasts longer than dumping. when dumping the clutch chunks of the friction material can be torn off. long story short, quick slips.
Fun series to watch! You can tell by the trap speed the civic is the faster car. But doesn't matter if you can't put the power down. Would of been cool to see a roll race
Rad to see the civic and GLI back. Ben try and learn to slip the clutch on launches. Not everything is an STI that you just side step the clutch on lol!
I like the rally cross idea. Something different for all of you? But, more drag racing is fine as well. More anything. Just get together!

In drag racing you should prevent tire slip/knocking for cv-joints and drive--shaft by letting the clutch slips as you gain traction instead of dumping it. I've learned my lesson when two of my cv-joints and my differential came knocking at the door
I've actually ran my MK7 GTI at Rockingham. I too also thought after the first pass my times would get better. However the opposite happened. Afterwards I found it it was largely due to all the tiny little rocks that stick to your tires after doing a run. So if you don't at least scrub your tires between each run you'll do worse every time. Also on street tires you essentially have to lift on wheelspin since there is no rough surface for the tires to dig in to. Plus street tires are terrible with ripping up the track prep making the track slower overall. I really learned a lot that day and my best pass was my first at 13.7 @ 105MPH.

@@ENSYYSNE it was a dsg. Apr stage 1 tune on the car. I only had all seasons on the car so getting the power down out of the hole was not happening lol. Still a fun experience though and well worth the money.
I think you guys should pick some underdog 1990's cars to do. Although stupid hard to find in decent shape, maybe like 96ish dodge avenger vs 96 Probe gt. Specs line up decent, oddball for sure, cheap but not really much performance market, and the main reason is because I love Probes... you heard me.

I guess I am impressed with the 16.5 ish I did against my brother in an automatic low end automatic Acura CSX...
Such a slow drag... My MK4 TDI back then only had modded Injectors and with the 5 speed I could do better launches then the automatic CSX. Fun times for my brother's Birthday.
Every Saturday I wonder if it's going to be the stanced VW and Acura road trip episode. Looking forward to that. This was a great episode anyway.

You guys have been all about racing especially on track, I would like to say do a series of specific car mods that people can afford and the difference between times with and without in a track (like with the EK civic) but with the range of cars that are not $$$ like WRX, GTI, civics SI, 370Z, Mustangs GTs etc etc, we all can’t have a full racing car even though when we tune them that’s what we pretend to have! That’s my opinion anyway.
How about something in the greatest wheel-to-wheel format ever created (not counting chariot racing) - 24 Hours of Lemons.

Standing mile, or similar (whatever they run near you) could be entertaining. Cheap car see how fast it goes stock then do budget stuff to see how much faster you can make it go

How about an autocross? I first saw Humble Mechanic in his vid at Cary Towne Center in his R32 and with both Bens having track seat time, it would be interesting to see which driver is the better driver.

Both the Ben’s should get Subarus to mod into track cars with a set budget and fastest time over the series wins, if one blows us as a result of mods in a set time they loose. If a the boxxer blows, it’s game over

Those videos are awesome, not like the last which was a big selling commercial that we didn't learn a sht or even enjoy. I really like driver cars oriented too, drag racing with a automatic S4, is like playing hockey on a PS5, yeah fun, but not the same challenge.
