Janna, I so feel you! Having a son with both CP and Down Syndrome, my life has been caught up with constant worrying and crying. I don’t know what happiness is anymore when you’re dealing with children with disabilities everyday. Yes children because I have a stepdaughter living with us with Rubinstein Taybi Syndrome as well. Everytime my son gets sick, and oxygen level is dropping, I am so scared and my whole body is shaking but I have no choice but to think clear, be strong and keep going. People who are not in a situation like ours would never understand. I am constantly living in pain knowing I’ll lose my child anytime. Sorry if my comment may make you feel worse but know that you are not alone. There are plenty of struggling parents that are going through the same or worse… but no matter what, you are a great mum and you’ve done so much wonders to your child. You are loved ❤

Jana I hope you can read this. My daughter is the same as Zo. Have you asked your ENT since Zo has alot of laway if they can check his duct so that they can do something about it kasi in ours naka PEG din anak ko but the laway was stated sa report na manageable since you said na if you piched his cheek nagssecret ng laway also ask your Doctor if they knew fluimucil nebulze vials para meron just ask. Maybe you can give 100ml fluimucil too to lessen the phlegm my other daughter has asthma and thats what we do. Also if may pneumonia, is it better to use Pulmodual not salbutamol only. I just want to help lang din I hope you don’t mind.

Just the cycle lang 4-6hrs pagitan if heart rate increases stop then continue if bumaba po. continious and gradual to help the airway open for the kid.
Hi po, suggestion lang po. Mas okay po siguro na mauna yung nebulizer before suctioning. After nebulizer po kasi maloloosen yung mga secretions so mas madami rin makuha na mga secretions 😊
Hello Ms. Janna, I wanna share lang po, actually same talaga situation ni Alonzo with my son, may CP but the differences are hindi kame nagpa PEG at di rin pina Trache due to mahal ang gastos para jan. I asked din my neurologist if mawawala ba pneumonia pag gawin both, sabi nga nya hinde talaga so isa narin sa reason kaya umayaw kame. Meron pa po syang isang suggestion samin, inject po para maDry ang laway para di na magcause ng bara sa lalamunan. Pero mahal padin for us kasi 11k daw bawat inject and need nya 4 injects sa glands. Kaya di padin namin nagawa . For now nebulize, cetirizine, montelukast lang talaga medicarion namin sa kanya. I hope and pray na sana tuloy tuloy na pag galing ni Alonzo. I can see his developments. I hope makapag therapy din kame sa anak namin soon kasi may progress talaga like nakikita ko kay Zo. God bless po.

Parang hindi po masyadong pwede sa kanya yon kasi nabilis heart rate ni zo kahit sa salbutamol ang mas matapang un mas makakabilis ng heart rate nya.

The reason why I share this baka kasi makatulong yung idea about inject po sa glands para di magka laway. Neurologist din po nag suggest samin.
