Headspace is critical on M2 , when I was in the Army a Soldier was killed when a piece of fragmented case punctured his femoral artery, he was wearing rain gear and bleed to death before anyone knew..He was firing from tripod.
Ammosmith, I have watched a bunch of your videos and would first off like to thank you for spending the time to share your knowledge with us. I noticed you own the M99. I own the M107A1 and use Barnes TSX 647gr for reloads. I tried some of the longer, heavier projectiles like hornady AMAX 750gr, but being a semi auto magazine fed firearm, I am only able to seat the bullets to magazine length. It really gave some bad groups with these low drag designs. I was curious if you own or have used any semi auto 50bmgs, and if so what sort of projectiles you run with them? Also, because you own the M99, you you recommend purchasing one? I really enjoy reloading and shooting the big fifty, and I feel the only thing more awesome than owning one would be owning two. Once again, thanks for all the videos over the years! I was gearing up towards making my own video, but I feel another year of reloading and data collection is in order before I share with others.
I notice you haven't posted anything for 10 months, and given Google's proclivity toward politics, I would like to know if you've moved to another platform. If so, what platform?
@@ammosmith I have a 225 Winchester, of coarse ammo is as hard to find as hens teeth. Would you have a process for making them from a parent shell casing ???

The case holders are cartridge specific. This particular trimmer should work just fine.
Do you not clean this brass before working with it?
I do. 50 brass is clean but it would take a sonic cleaner to make it look new. There's no grit or lube on them.
