I don’t understand the hate for Scarlett. It was so nice to see a nerdy character be OP for once, instead of being comic relief or the punching bag for other characters. Scarlett was such a badass.
You'd think a nerdy genius like Scarlett would be the last character to become villainous! I really liked her role here too! She would've been perfect for the Villains in All Stars! Maybe she, Alejandro and Heather could've garnered their own alliance at some point! Three expert strategists doing everything in their power to destroy the others!

Before this episode, she was a tough player, using her smarts and strategy for her advantage. But then in this episode, she suddenly felt like becoming a Saturday morning cartoon villain.
@@jasperjazzie I think it would be interesting for her to have gotten a bit less of sociopath with still being evil but having someone she kinda cares about. I think a good candidate for this could be her little brother, yeah she did treat him very badly in the past but now, well she is a bit more kinder if not manipulative. Plus this wouldn't be the first time a child has ended up on total drama's set (and Scarlett has supposedly watched every episode so she could easily take advantage of that by having her little brother sabotage the challenges.) Along scarlet to basically mess with Chris and drive him insane(er), plus the idea of her brother basically getting bored and just forcing his way into the computation would be neat (plus it would be an awesome way to reveal who he is by having red eyes appearing on as bunch of screens).

Ah, Scarlett. In my mind, she’s the biggest example of missed potential in this series. The unassuming brainiac who manipulates things from behind a much more obvious villain, puppeteering her way to get far is a great idea for a Total Drama villain. But in the end they just turned her into an even more cartoonishly evil supervillain than Mal and Max. And unlike most other derailed characters, she can’t be brought back and course corrected. Scarlett attempted five counts of homicide, she can’t return, she’s probably in prison. They can’t bring her back.
This would’ve been an amazing arc in a 27 episode season. Her starting out as a manipulative player who just seems like a nerd, but who slowly goes insane trying to deal with Max. But right now it just felt rushed…

My headcannon scenario about Scarlett's evil reveal: The main reason why Scarlett reveal her evil shape in Scarlett Fever was not for taking over the world domination to murder everyone for money, it was because of the fact that Max pushes her buttons too far when the former called the latter inferior sidekick for 10 episodes and also when she threatens Topher with an angry mad expression in episode 8.
Scarlett suddenly threatened to blow up the island with the rest of the contestants, which would be first-degree murder... on a reality TV show. It's ridiculous that despite how smart she was before, she didn't take it into account that one single decision not only made her disqualified and likely forbidden from participation in the future, but would also result in Scarlett being put behind the bars for the rest of her life. Hell, why do I even overanalyze a crappily-written season of a cartoon?
You actually got it wrong. She would never actually kill them, she just said that she would do as to intimidate them. But let’s say she actually went through with it, where would be the evidence that she was responsible for it? After all everything would be destroyed and not everyone would have necessarily died. Furthermore, she kept her darkness hidden (most of the viewers commenting about the disappointing change in character of Scarlett at the end is evidence is a meta type of way too). Overall, if that happened, I could see her as a great finalist, although that would never happened cause it’s too complex. But it would make her 100x better again.

I’m I really the only one who thinks All Stars is worse than Pahkitew Island. Mainly because in All Stars we had to say goodbye to camp wawanakwa, the Mike vs Zoey finale. Should had been Scott vs Courtney and the episode Sundea Muddy Sundae.
Writing that would be very hard. This isn’t someone like Heather or Scott who just manipulated people and acted like a total jerk, she tried to actually kill people. It’d be *really* hard to write a redemption for her. Not necessarily impossible, but incredibly hard.

You know Scarlett could have been the main villain of this season if her character was done correctly. She could have had a more vicious side to her without being an over the top cartoon villain like in her last episode. She could have been the quiet know it all nerd who never had any friends because she was an social outcast while scheming behind the scenes and using Max as a meat puppet only near the end her true personality is revealed. Kinda like how Julia eas handled in the new Total Drama season. Nobody predicted she was gonna be the villain and thought she was gonna be an early boot only for the season to prove us wrong and now she's one of the best parts of the season.
I guess she was so smart that when her brother casully bullied her amd her parents took her credit of genius out of envy. This could explain her urge to do evil as to move up in the world but really just needed some respect.

It would've been cool for her to be driven crazy by Max and will try anything to get rid of Max while getting rid of almost all the threats when the reason she gets voting out is because of something Max does. Basically a main antagonist of some sort until she gets out and Sugar becomes the main antagonist.
max and Scarlett's relationship could've been made differently than Scarlett simply turning evil, they could've instead made a alliance, max makes the plans, Scarlett fixes and improvises on the errors

Scarlett's the saddest character in Pahkitew in my opinion, if it wasn't for that one damn episode where she essentially became Mal 2.0, her combination of Harolds knowledge and a more subdued version of Noahs snark when dealing with Max arguably made her as good a character as Shawn and Jasmine

Scarlett kinda reminds me of Izzy if Izzy was actually a genius pretending to be crazy to get farther in the game. Except for the annoying "eeeevill" part, Scarlett is like how Izzy would normally act.

I love Scarlett pre-evil. She was a legitimately smart character and it sucks they turned her into such a unrealistic villain.

Scarlett's the saddest character in Pahkitew in my opinion, if it wasn't for that one damn episode where she essentially became Mal 2.0, her combination of Harolds knowledge and a more subdued version of Noahs snark when dealing with Max arguably made her as good a character as Shawn and Jasmine
