My 1st attempt I knew I failed. My 2nd attempt, i failed the TS so I spent the configuration time playing around and looking at the entire exam......smartest move I made....... My 3rd attempt, there is a 50/50 chance. In my heart I knew I got at least 80%. What I did was go back and check all of my l2 and L3 stuff when the clock only had one hour left. Finding those mistakes got me my 80%. I just did not know if I got 80%. I knew I passed the TS, because I did the same thing i did in the config section. I was not finished all my tickets, when there was 30 minutes left, so i reverified my finish tickets first and found 2 errors and then went back to finish the last two questions and I ran out of time. So glad I went back to re-review at the 30min and 60min marks on my TS and Config. So i was hoping that I got enough points on that configuration but in my heart I knew. Very good statement brother, very good video. Thanks.

@@MrSam9860 Sorry for the delayed response. Not alot of math, but thought process, theory, implementation. As for the math, you do need to know your subnetting, there is no getting around that. 13years in the Networking field, i still do subnetting as a troubleshooting and desgin method. Most i do in my head, but as a design method, i use pencil and paper and verify via subnetting calculators just to make sure

I don't believe its worth it anymore. Instead get a good CCNP understanding of routing/switching then study AWS/Azure

@@kazuthegreat Well, usually i’d say it’s going to take a year atleast. But I was pretty much studying for that long, because I had no work or anything. I used Narbiks course, Jeremy’s Lab Cisco Labs/Home Labs, and books. I would say Home Labs, and Narbiks course helped me the most.

    2. Pass 350-701 Security core technology exam.

I understand what you mean, but certs are not worthless. For example, if you have a potential custumer that is requesting someone with a CCIE to do the job, you will lose that customer if you don't have any engineer with the CCIE cert. Not to mention, people with a CCIE get faster access to cisco support.
So in the end, it's not worthless.
