If you are asking if anyone can be a Lakhe, Although some of the rites are reserved for Newari community, here at Nuwakot non Newari people can also be Lakhe to dance in other days. But mainly for the ritual followed in this video Which is Having Shir or shi: , so that Lakhe gets into the person who have it, they have to be Newar.
