    Can we do anomaly prediction?

      Possible in some applications and for some types of anomalies (e.g. anomalies caused by system failures). Similar interests have been explored in machine learning applications to predictive maintenance. However, philosophically speaking, if an anomaly becomes highly predictable, then by definition it should not be called an anomaly.
