If ANYONE didn’t think Jon Bon Jovi stepped out on his wife is insane. Come on! I’ve been a fan of Bon Jovi since he came out in 1984. Come on. All those women throwing them at himself 24 seven? I think we expect it, but he also doesn’t owe us any explanations and how Dorothea chose to manage that she knew what she was getting into. She could’ve divorced him at any given time and she chose not to. Many women know what goes on in their marriage, but they’re not gonna leave it. And it’s none of our business. I think it’s, decent enough that he acknowledged the obvious but other than that, he doesn’t know any details. He doesn’t owe us anything at all. All he needs to do is just keep making music, let family dynamic out the way that it does, and the rest of us don’t care.I don’t care what happened in their relationship. But for anyone who acts shocked, I don’t know how you could be.

Yep. Hundreds of Millions probably was one of the reasons. I saw Bon Jovi in Germany. It was his Slippery when wet tour. I feel sorry for his wife because there are all kinds of performers who Don't sleep with their fans. He really disappointed his fans when he admitted cheating and he acted like all rockers do screw around. Sad that he made this public. I feel bad for his wife.

& Jada were in an open marriage but if you just look it up there are a lot that have admitted to it. It doesn’t shock me in the slightest. Some of the biggest celebs like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Marlon Brando, Brad Pitt, etc. cheated on their spouses. If everyday people ( especially the younger generation) can’t make a marriage work then is it surprising celebs can’t? It doesn’t excuse it or make it right but it seems to be a trend in Hollyweird.

You hit the proverbial nail on the head! Jon has always had a couple of regular women on tour ( listen to Alycen Rowse pod cast) allegedly She knew Jon & the band as I did back in mid 80’s. Jon did not treat me with anything like respect because he assumed I was there at the hotel for his usage shall I say. I was a musician and my manager arranged a meet with Ritchie Sambora but Jon not only tried to hook up with me I refused and oh boy did his ego take a hit. He treated me very badly in front of my local friends which was shocking what he did. But Dorethea turned up the following night on this tour so he was definately seeing her then, yet still trying to sleep with girls on tour , it happened to me! But Dorethea signed up for this lifestyle she is beautiful and smart. It was an open relationship, how can you not think otherwise? 💜💜💜

I remember several years ago I saw the two of them together in an interview. He said that my wife is a black belt in karate. I would be a fool to cheat on her. And yes, she agreed with him. Going by her actions and facial expressions if she knew about his infidelities, she needs to move to California and become an actress. It doesn’t matter to me one way or the other if he did or didn’t that’s between them I just keep coming back to that interview that I saw.

Maybe he meant cheated again. The way he talked it was when he was younger that he cheated but as we grow older we grow wiser so hopefully that behavior is in his past. Also he didn’t have to tell her but the fact he did and seemingly asked for forgiveness seems to me that he’s changed because if he hadn’t told her would she ever of even known?
These women throw themselves at men was such reckless abandoned. I don’t think many men can hold back from that for too long. I don’t think it’s necessarily right and I don’t agree with it, but I’m certainly sure she knows where her husband has been and maybe some of it, she doesn’t want to know let’s just say that.

A rock star has ENORMOUS temptation...and it would take a saint not to give in. If you or I had that level of fame and ease of available one nighters, do you really think we'd stay "chaste"? This is a "rock god" with gorgeous women throwing themselves at him night after night for decades. The expression "walk a mile in my shoes" came about with good reason!
What is understood between two marriage partners is really not our business. They stayed together because they love each other and are each other's best friends.
And double standard or not, there is a touring band behavior that relegates one night stands or groupie behavior as an "on the road" norm. Whether we think that is right or wrong doesn't matter. What matters is Jon's conscience and his relationship with his wife, partner and mother of his children. It's not for us to judge. Opinions are cheap and varied.
The 1993 song was written about his dating Diane Lane in 85 when he and Dorothea were had broken up and were seeing other people, but he realized he truly loved Dorothea and ended the relationship with Diane(or visa versa).

The real rock star is Dorthea. Its no secret that he had many indiscretions before and after their marriage. He was on the road 10+ times yearly. Seems like hed come home on break and she'd get pregnant. Yet, she stayed. She ran her household and raised their children, not to mention being hands on to charity completely by herself. I have nothing but admiration for her

Oh give me a break. The guy became an international superstar in his mid 20s and was gorgeous. I bet he had a different girl in every city they toured for easily the first ten years of their superstardom. Christ, when they opened for Ratt, which must have been '84-''85 or so, some girl at the Spectrum had a sign that said "I brought my kneepads" - he had his pickings as often as he wanted - on the bus, in the hotel, planes, etc. As to Dorothea's forgiveness, also, give me a break. Did they sign a prenup? B/c if not, she would have walked with half his millions, something I'm quite certain he didn't want. Is she Catholic too? B/c if they both are, that would have played a role, potentially.
He was dating Diane Lane when "Slippery" broke, and once he became a zillionaire and they had kids, what was she going to do, walk away? Besides, he was on the road so much, it's not like they had a traditional marriage. I think their 4th kid was a 'make-up' kid that came after she threatened to leave....just a hunch. That's a lot of kids for a rock star....the roadies would have the true stories.

Also is it even shocking to people that a celebrity especially a rockstar cheated? The way he talked it was when he was younger so maybe they worked through it. Idt people realize that in the majority of the marriages in Hwood that there is either cheating or an open marriage. We know Will/Jada, John Travolta/Kelly, Dolly Parton and her husband, etc. have/had an open marriage. Then look how many have cheated and even some cheated with someone and that’s how their marriage came about like Johnny Cash/June Carter. Some of our biggest celebs cheated on their spouses like Elvis/Priscilla, Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston, Jay Z/Beyonce, Gwen/Gavin, Blake/Miranda, Ben Afleck/Jenn Garner, Justin Timberlake/Jessica Biel to name just a few.

People can make mistakes in their youth and then tell their spouse because they do feel guilty and they work through it. Personally, I would have left if I were her. However, there are likely very very few people in Hollywood that are actually faithful to their spouses if I had to guess. That’s why Hwood marriage shelf life is so low.

Long story short I found out later some of my friends got to go up and were partying with bon jovi ❤ when we got turned away we drove to the back of the Ritz these girls we met at the concert got on my sister car and where laying on her windshield with their tops down and security of the hotel was flirting with them I was only 17 and shy I didn't know what to think we finally left about 4 am and the next day when I called my friend Tonya who was up at the party she said jon bon jovi just kepted looking out the window but he never slepted with any of them lol I was just happy he kepted looking out the window at us of course we were soop far away like 30 stories down he prob was wondering what the hell we were doing lol
