The story about the guy shooting himself during one of the To Catch A Predator episodes actually happened in real life, I’m pretty sure it’s one of the reasons that the show got cancelled later on

Everyone killing themselves when they see Chris Hansen gets me every time, especially when that guy says “THERE AREN’T REALLY BROWNIES!”😂😂 Hansen is an example of a TV Celebrity who took his parodied counterpart with good humor.
