My uncle raised cattle and he told me to respect the animals because they deserve our respect for having to take their life for food. He would treat them like they were royalty and feed them the best and groom them make sure none were a sick and if and when he was to slaughter one he would make it so they wpuldnt even know it was happening. He would brush them and feed them and brush them until it was time and do it from behind the animal so it wouldn't even see or know what was happening. Sounds kind of morbid but he told me a happy cow or bull is a better tasting one because the cows that are in those crappy government barns or stockyards are under massive amounts of stress and that makes the meat full of cortisol and other things that make it taste bad. He said there is no readon for the mistreatment to them they deserve the highest respect.
not looking at them as food. Thats how you respect it, you leave them alone. Raise happy so your meat quality will be better is not respect, its bussines

Whether you are attached, or not, it will not go away. Death is always out there.
fox on the run Very true, it is funny. Humans treat everything below them as garbage, but if it happens to them, then it is a tragedy... LOL. One day we will get knocked off the top of the food chain, I hope I am not around when it happens, but it will be comical. I do like a good bone in ribeye. 😊
With Goddess So I assume you don't wear any leather items then? Because then you would be a giant hypocrite
TwiceSwords I'm guessing you've never lived on a farm dumb ass
Don't Eat Animals how do you justify murdering plants and consuming them? What they don't have feelings but animals do? Fck hypocrite
Don't Eat Animals how do you know plants don't have feelings or feel pain? You have no idea whatsoever if they do you just want to believe they don't so you can feel better about yourself just like every other ignorant moron that wants to control what other people do.
He’s ready to take on the world! I have a tiny Pygmy goat doe like that. She’s a giant in her own mind, lol.
Jeanette Waverly I love goats! Do you post pictures or videos of her?
No, I don't, sorry. She's what called a light caramel color in Pygmy-speak. You can find pictures of her doppelgangers all over the goat neighborhood of the Internet, lol.
They are just the thing if you don't have enough land to keep Herefords, lol.
Jeanette Waverly Nothing like a freshly smelling hay! ***
Jeanette Waverly ii
LOL love the lil prance at 1:07 like I GOTTA NEW BED, I GOTTA NEW BED lol
He’s like a big doggie. Love his little eye patch!
Who was having more fun; the playing bull or the driver playing with him??????
Ellen Murray looks like a cow to me
Stephany Ward Haha, that struck me as so funny that I had to go back to it and look! Don't know how old you are but there is a way to tell - if there is something hanging down on their underside, between the end of their chest and beginning of the stomach, it is a boy. If the thing is not there, it is a girl, or cow.
Stephany Ward, he's a bull. That's not an udder on his tummy :-)
Keek Yes, yes, this is true. I did forget to mention the udder....
Oh ok lol thank you all!
That's adorable! He's having a blast!
This is literally the cutest bull ever! Seems so happy awwww bless he reminds me of a puppy lol
He’s a frisky little guy! All Gods creatures have personalities and they’re adorable!!!
This came as a recommended. Have seen a couple previously and enjoyed them. Live in town now but when younger grew up where herefords predominated. Always liked them. This guy was having so much fun playing with the hay. On watching some of your other videos I love the way you treat your animals with respect and kindness, something that seems to be missing these days. Have subscibed 🇭🇲
Thanks for the sub and for watching my videos. Yes no point in abusing animals. They thrive when treated properly and deserve it as well. Long live ranchers.
Oh my goodness, cows are SO CUTE when they do that little happy dance! I only saw it a few times in real life - when I was in England, I saw cows on several occasions doing happy dances in fields. It was adorable. I don't know if it's a different breed or what but the cows never do that in Canada!
This one's a keeper.
Can a 2000 lbs bull be cute? Apparently
That's nowhere near 2000 pounds.
Dave BB evidently
What’s a thousand pounds amongst friends?
Not when he is mauling you alive.
@@Harihar_Patel cows don't maul. Trample and gore, maybe. But never maul.
I love watching this video with your bull. It reminds me of my childhood and Christmas. God Bless.
I LOVE this Hereford!!! Had the biggest smile on my face the whole video!❤❤❤❤
It looks like he is playing in Shredded Wheat Cereal...
Santamonica Pieratnoon and this is what i think of when i eat shredded wheat its like snowdon haybales :)
Haha, that's great. Good imagination! I haven't had those in so long.
Lol...it does....
What is funny is that I give my sheep shredded Mini Wheats as a treat. I left the door open one day when it was cool, and one of them came into the living room looking for Mini Wheats.
@@knewledge8626 My mother use to make it for me, for breakfast on those cold winter mornings before school. I sometimes still have it, but its expensive in the West Coast. :/
Who doesn't love a new bed?
They're messing it up and he's making sure you got it on film.
He looks at the camera like "are you gettin' this?"
I loved it, thank you for sharing.
awww... what a good boi.. so cute
He's thinking hell yeah no more cold feet where is my barn Farmer Brown but you can tell he's happy
To see happy animals is so good for our souls. And I really like people who like and care about their animals.
That's a funny looking dog.
