This process works, but I find it to be ridiculous. Your group had only four members. What about a group that has around 50 members plus imagine deleting each memo it’s going to take a lot of time in today’s day of technology. This is really stupid! There has to be an easier way to delete a group without removing all members.

Yes, this is ridiculous. In addition, someone may get offended when you delete them from a group. They don't see that the group was deleted, they only know they were kicked out..

I have this same question. If I delete everyone from the group chat. And then delete the group chat. Will the group chat also be deleted on Whatsapp of the people who were in the group?
And also, do they get a notification if they’ve been removed from the group chat? Or does the group chat go up in the archive, after I delete everyone?
As I’d like to remove the group chat all quietly. And I don’t want people in the group chat, are going to message each other, as they still can see each others phonenumber in the group chat. And then asked each other what happened with the chat. Even though the group chat is from 2 years ago, before Corona.
I just want to remove the group chat all together for everyone. Without people noticing I deleted the group chat.
