    Just got one, let’s work the magic. Be back when done.
    Update: as of March 2021; the machine works like a charm. I own 2 cats and sometimes they sh*t on the floor, even though they have a litter box, accidents happen I suppose. After cleaning up their mess the stain of the poop was very visible and it smelled like sh*t. Long story short, I bought this machine and worked on the parts where the stains were and the machine picked up and cleaned it perfectly. It’s 🔥 I’ll give it a 9/10.

      2 cat and 1 litter box will make them go to the toilet elsewhere sometimes... A rule of thumb is 1 litter box per cat plus 1! I have 3 litterboxes for two cats and I only need to pick up their poops and pee 2 times a week even 1 if i’m sick and it never smells at all ❤️❤️❤️❤️

    According to the User Guide, you add HOT tap water (140 degrees F) to the portable machine formula. According to Bissell chat I just had, the ProHeat does not actually heat the water--it just helps maintain the water temperature of the solution when you add it to the Clean tank. They also do not recommend storing the solution mixture (water plus cleaners) in the Clean tank between uses. So if I later add cold solution to the Clean tank, it will not be heated. I'm going to lightly microwave my stored mixed solution so it is warm, but not overly hot the next time I use the machine. Disappointing. I also thought the ProHeat heated the solution.

    • @countofmontecrypto496
      @countofmontecrypto496 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Arlene Zimmerly whats do disappointing that it maintains the water temperature... you can’t wash upholstery/ carpets with very hot water. I prefer that machine keeps the water warm. I owned a bissell floor cleaner without the warm feature and over the cleaning time the warm water that I started with would go cold.

    • @brandonrides
      @brandonrides 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @@countofmontecrypto496 yeah we want warm water, we want the machine to make the water warm instead of the consumer having to heat up water before hand

    • @bosox6554
      @bosox6554 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's one of the main reasons why I bought this machine because I thought it would heat up left over solution batches.Everything is outrageously expensive these days so I didn't want to waste solution but it doesn't heat it up.What a huge disappointment and false advertisement by Bissell.

    My friend has been pleased with this vacuum. I put it together and other than one of the wheels coming back out(which I had a bit of difficulty with) th-cam.com/users/postUgkxnBiz5H40H0BTcRcPDEHZkcV2smSjfUD0 it was easy to assemble. It's worked well and the large size has been handy for vacuuming up sawdust around my friend's tablesaw. The wheels and handle make it simple to move around, so the bulky size isn't overly a negative, unless you're lacking on space. It has a bag that can be used to collect the dust, though it doesn't have to be used. It works perfectly great without it and it is an added expense when replacing the bag. If vacumming water, just leave it out. It comes with various attachments, which are handy. A durable bag attaches to the handle to hold them and I love this feature. It has good power and it's a nice option for a shop vac.

    How much solution should you spray when cleaning? I just bought this machine and it's not lifting any stains (even some that are easy enough to remove with a tide to go pen). Also my clean water/solution tank is emptying but my dirty water tank isn't filling up. The suction is working just fine. I don't think it's an issue with the machine because if I use it to suck up a glass of water it works and the dirty water tank does fill. Am I just not using enough of the solution?

    Great review. I can confirm that the unit does not heat the water. I would even say it doesn't really do much to maintain the water temperature either. I filled mine up with hot water and it came out of the spray nozzle lukewarm-cool, definitely not hot enough to kill any germs. I thought it was going to be a steam cleaner when I bought it but it is not. The actual cleaning relies heavily on pre-spraying the surface with the cleaner and going over thoroughly using the rinse trigger to make sure you are washing out all the dirt. I would imagine you may be able pre-spray any cleaner you want to use on the carpet and then rinse and suck it up with this thing.

    • @jmichelle216
      @jmichelle216 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I agree and that's why I actually boil my water and add it so it does kill germs. I also use an enzyme cleaner solution instead. It hasn't let me down yet.

    • @Nicole-em9yo
      @Nicole-em9yo ปีที่แล้ว

      Yep it’s basically an extractor. Professionals will typically do as you described: spray the surface with a preferred cleaner and use an extractor filled with plain warm/hot water to rinse and suck up the cleaner. Any standard handheld vac mop can do this.

      Yes, I wash them in the washing machine on cold but I avoid drying them on a hot setting because I’m afraid they will shrink I usually do delicate and sometimes especially in the summer I just spread them on the two couches I have overnight so they can air dry and in the morning I can put them back on the couch.

    Just got one and it does kind of work, the suction isnt great and it doesnt heat up the water it says it maintains heat but not very well imo. It's basically a shop vacuum with a squirt bottle attached to it. Regardless great job on the video!

    • @RoseBaby
      @RoseBaby  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It’s a good investment but the name of this product is misleading, to be honest. There is no ProHeat or other heating component to this machine. It will not heat the water on its own and I don’t think it keep the temperature of the hot water that you put in to it.

    How long does it take to dry

    • @RoseBaby
      @RoseBaby  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It really depends on the season and how much water you put down. In summer it could be dry in a couple of hours but in winter it takes little longer.
      I usually wait overnight for anything just to make sure it’s totally dry.

    Guys pro tip for car seats. Always use the formula the one with + oxy is great. To maximize your bang for your buck you can spot clean or full clean like this. Spray the water/formula over the spot or the whole seat, dont soak the seat just evenly coat it with the water. After that i suggest getting a nylon bristle brush thats medium hardness and scrub the spot or seat. This is agitate the dirt and whatever is staining your seat. it will reduce how many times you have to spray over the spot/seat and most of the time all i need is one cycle just make sure you brush well. I havent tried this on carpet but it should work on that as well. Hope this helps

      I have a regular bissell carpet cleaner and I often use just hot water and dish soap. It always gets things clean without harsh chemicals or an after-smell.

    • @virginia7125
      @virginia7125 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I get mixed reviews on this. Bissell only warrants the unit if you use their cleaners. A friend adds a tablespoon of Pine Sol to disinfect the area, but Bissell claims it'll ruin the seals over time, & can fade the carpet too.
