Yes you can. I recommend a gentle cleanser weekly and a foaming cleanser ever 2-3 weeks

Being from the Caribbean, we used the leaves of the hibiscus plant to shampoo the hair. We would pick the leaves, then crush it in water (rubbing the leaves between the hands tearing it in the water), strain to remove the leaves and then you are left with that shampoo. the hair is clean and not stripped like regular shampoos. you condition or deep condition after.

Thanks so much for this. The Caribbeans also use okra/okra plant for cleansing the hair. The Navajo women use the Yucca root for cleansing as well. Luv ur videos. Thank you for all of the hard work and effort you have put into the content and it delivery. Blessings ever, Mary

Lovely video. I would like to point out however, that low ph does not mean alkaline. It means acidic in nature. So you might want to correct yourself from saying that in your future videos. Alkaline substances actually have a high ph.

I really love the SoapNut hair wash from Henna Sooq I use it as a clarifier and def follow up with a co wash after. My hair was so happy and I noticed that it held moisture longer than it normally does. Happy I have been diving in more and more with Ayurvedic herbs. 🥰

I love these herbs. I like to make these herbs in more of a rinse than a mask consistently.

@@NowIAmNappy you can also use yucca to cleanse. Not cassava be they are two different things. They look very similar.

Hello! Trying to develop a routine. I have an oil I made and I use fenugreek (with rosemary essential). I have rhassoul clay, neem, brahmi, shikakai, bhringraj, amla. Just trying to figure what I can do with them. I understand a little about what each will do but not sure if I should mix them or what 🤷🏾‍♀️

Thanks for the tips about Aretha because I've had the power for a while and never used it. Grinding it to find powder will help wash out easy along with the other herbs. Thanks sis

Your skin looks really pretty. Where is your eczema? I've had it myself but I figured out what was causing it and removed it. Do you know what is causing yours? I'm practically an expert on the subject now.

Would it be a good idea to mix any one of these herbs in a kaolin clay mask?
