It looks like we could then get the Google Play Store from Aptoide.If so would we then have access to all those apps on the Fire TV? or would there still be some Amazon restrictions?
As explained in the video, you cannot install Google Play onto Fire TV devices.

Hi Tanya. Ive been trying to get an ad free version of all4 to work on a Fire stick Lite but says it needs Google Play services installed to work. I don't want to risk bricking the Firestick. I wondered if you could suggest anything.
If you see the message "Google Play Services required" when opening the app, select OK to dismiss the notice. The application will open and work correctly.
That is not entirely true for games. Some games do require that you are logged in to have some functions enabled. So I wonder if there is a workaround for those.
I've downloaded aptiode and it loads OK.
However, when I click on an app. I cannot scroll up to 'install' it will only scroll left and right along the bottom menu of 'Home' 'Editorial 'Search' etc.
Why can't I scroll up to the large orange 'Install' bar option?

Are you sure you have installed "Aptoide TV" and not "Aptoide"?

my Firestick TV settings does not have Developer Options or submenu ADB Debugging. So when i download the Downloader App, it asks for settings change and i cannot do anything about it... I tried using NordVPN to see if FireStick TV would modify its settings but nothing changed. Any Suggestions?

Do you get an error? As Sling TV is restricted to users in the US only, if you are not in the US, you will need a VPN to bypass these restrictions.

If you're in the UK, ITVX is available to download from your official app store.

I followed all the steps. I was able to install Aptoide and install Google Play. But when I hit Open, I get an error message that says, "Can't open this app". :(:( Any ideas on how I can get Google Play to work?
As mentioned in the video, Google Play does not work on Firestick. You have to install an alternative.

Odd. Doesn't open. Said check latest version, did, it's the latest. But won't open. I have Amazon Insignia Fire TV (smart TV, not stick)

When i launch TH-cam kids I get an error message saying "YT kids wont run without google play services which are missing from your device". Goes without saying i have already installed play services.
Im running Fire HD 8 (2022) android 8.0+ software. Its worth noting it works fine on my Fire HD 8 (2020) which is running android 7 i think.

Not sure sorry, it could be that the 2022 Fire HD has an updated OS that is not compatible with the version of YT Kids you're trying to install.
Try installing different versions until you find one that works. Have you tried downloading the app from the Downloads page on my website firetvsticks.com

The only problem is if it's a Google app the firestick will say " not compatible with this device" 🤔
Yes, some apps will say this. But sometimes you are able to select OK to bypass this message and the app will work as normal.

Please provide more information about your app download, device, and any errors encountered. Have you followed the steps in the video, and at what point did you experience an issue?
When I install it says "Not installed" what does that mean? :(
Please confirm the following:
1) Your Firestick model
2) Is your connection wired or Wi-Fi
3) Name of app that did not install
4) You have developer options turned on

Brand new Fire TV stick 4K. Following these directions it did not install Aptoid TV
If I try to repeat the download and install "an unknown error has occurred"
NOTE: I do have Developer Options but I do not have Developer Options -> Install Unknown Apps

Not sure why but Google Play is not working. As soon as I launch it the screen goes back to whatever screen I was on before.
As shown in the video, you should try the alternative app instead.

Yes, it's there if you want to install it on other devices, but as mentioned in the video, it WILL NOT WORK on Firesticks and Fire TV devices.

The title say, "GOOGLE PLAY STORE ON FIRE STICK." With Aptoide TV I still couldn't download Google Play Store, that was the only reason I followed your video step by step because I needed Google Play Store......

@@FireTVSticks The only reason I watched your video, I needed to find out if I could download the eufy security app to watch video footage from my security camera. I found the app on Aptoide TV but it wasn't compatible so I couldn't use it. So I'm going to try it on my 4K smart television and hopefully I'm successful.
I just use app2fire to transfer apps from my phone to my firestick using its ip address. No real need to install another app store on the firestick.
