This seems like a waste of soap. Why not use the cup or a bin or something? Why prewashing them and not just washing? Did you mean soak? Cause a bin or a stopper for that drain would be way better.
@@lifeforreal8810that is definitely a waste of time and soap. You can add prewash to the dishwasher if you use liquid dishwashing soaps. If stuck on foods is an issue then just soaking before washing should work. If you are getting residue like we did, add a small cup/glass of vinegar to the dishwasher. Plus I've been told multiple times if too much regular soap gets in the dishwasher it can cause damage to it. 😅

Or.... put hot water and soap in that cup, put all silverware in the cup, wash them last.
