Well done with the bargains. I think it underlines how overpriced the models are. I have found the same with Star Wars Legion. People can only pay so much for plastic, unpainted, self-assemble kits. There are so many other games to choose from nowadays.
Well I’m not sure if I will continue to buy models for the game. They are extremely expensive for what they are. I will say that with your local shop selling at such a huge loss that they have given up on the game. I can’t justify $80 for one model “Apocalypse “ not even for my favorite character Thanos at $60!! The prices are what’s killing the game.
@@GreenbeltChurchOnline Those are board games. Not a Tabletop Miniatures game. Warhammer is a TT miniatures game that had a Role-Playing Game also. But much like Warhammer, Warhammer 40k, Crisis Protocol and a slew of others are exactly like MCP. So, in this case the "story" is "Can the X-Men defeat the Brotherhood." The closest thing to a story is a Campaign game where stats and such get changed around as you play. However, there is some really cool things on One Page Rules with the new Quest games. Totally free and uses any mini you want. Frost/Stargrave are also good for that. But at the end of the day, it's just a table, some terrain and a battle. You make up the story as you go if that makes sense. I have a Warhammer army that I made my own fluff for based on my paint scheme and such. So my army has a "story" but no real rules or anything special. I hope that makes sense. You kinda make it up as you go along with your buddies.

Exactly!
What a deal! I had NO idea the minis were normally that expensive! Yikes!
It's the reason I don't have all of them (:
Who said it was dead? It seems to be bigger than ever.
Not based on the number of players in my area... less and less people are playing here.
@@RevKev That’s a bummer.

I understand the frustration with the price point. It's expensive!
hell no awesome game
Great haul
Right? I was shocked with the discount!
If you want "story" don't play a miniatures game. Pretty simple.
Thanks for the comment!
Lots of games I've played have story to them. Descent. Imperial Assault. Even old school Warhammer gave us campaign settings.
