Skinny trousers look rediculus on anyone. My mother used to take me to her work when I was a small boy. She worked in the costume department for a big movies company. I liked all those machines and gradually learned how to use them. When I was 8 or 9 I surprised my mother by expressing an opinion about an outfit she wasn't sure about. I became interested in both men and women clothes. For the last 2 years in university I found a job as a designer on a big factory. My greater success was designing a line of the collorless shirts which was picked up by many clothes producers. I left clothes business after graduation as my interests were always in a scientific fields, but still retained interest in clothes. For the last 35 years I have never been in any place or function not being the best dressed man (I am not a gay). On that clip color coordination was terrible. In general a man should avoid dark top and light bottom.
This was more a survey of normal men's wear from dress casual through normal formal. Old Money sartorial overlaps that some, but it's more distinctive.
