The person that Catch Me If You Can was based on, Frank Abignale Jr., never worked for the FBI. He claimed that he did, along with a bunch of other claims that have been debunked. You said that you researched it, but you must not have researched it very thoroughly. I know that this is comedy and you're busy, it just bugs me to see misinformation keep being spread about this.
If anything though, I think that the real story proves your point even more. This is a man who has made a lot of money giving talks and selling movie rights based on the lies he's told about his life and accomplishments.
