This is the Kia Sonet that we are getting here in the Philippines. It is assembled in China just like the Kia KX1/Stonic it replaces. The Sonet was first announced in India (where it is slightly shorter because of tax benefits) in 2020 then exported to various emerging markets in Southeast Asia and Latin America in LHD and RHD forms. Despite Vietnam, an LHD country assembling the Sonet, the Philippines never got the pre-facelift model, instead going with the aforementioned KX1, sold here as the Stonic.
