I agree Conor, Trump is the most persecuted man since Jesus lol
Adam is the reason I don’t watch Sitch & Adam anymore
Stich & Adam are the reasons I don't watch Stich & Adam.
I'll speak for everyone here and say "S class is best class"
Unimaginably true and based
A team is gay team
S class is the only class. A team is a daycare.
Adam makes a living off of criticizing people's arguments, but when pushed by Connor, or Pisco, he curls into a ball and says they're crying, or dishonest, or 'paid off by democrats to shill'. It's pathetic. I thoroughly enjoyed you laying into him, even if his audience is completely ideologically captured and called you bad faith. You're one of the only conservative-adjacent people I respect Connor. Keep being honest.
@@gfree6978 I totally forgot about systemic dishonesty
Connor literally is by his own admission being paid off by Democrats. 😂
@mitchellblackmore2295 which is always shocking to me because he was very willing to Press Antony Davies, who is a really well respected libertarian economist and professor
@@Grassroots_Hegemon wild lol. What an ego
From what I’ve seen of pisco he is an emotionally dis regulated dipshit who is largely incapable of understanding or articulating the positions of anyone who is even slightly to the right of him or even remotely critical of the left line Ana K
Stitch was always the better debater in that podcast when they do well in debates it's usually Adam letting stitch talk.
watching him dance around that convo when you went to their stream was embarrassing af.
I was losing my mind
Sitch always struck me as reasonable, don't know how he ended up with Adam, but I feel for the guy. Trying to be respectful and understanding only goes so far when it isn't reciprocated, and Adam doesn't reciprocate.
Sitch is just more restrained, he calls AIU racist for example and will be hysterical in his own.
@@jimmyeveryman6418 sitch is inherently lazy at getting a big show off the ground. Adam is 20 years older, and has a working professional career with screenwriters, and getting projects done at a deadline with goals in mind.
Adam also has life experience that adds to the shows idea that it isn't just a basement kid who turned 30 and all of a sudden has the street cred to inject his opinions into serious political matters.
Adam is married as well. And talks to a lot more people than Sitch does. Like Adams studio hosted the first in person debate between Vaush and destiny.
Adam is friends with comic writers and people like kurt Metzger. And was part of the atheist+ online discourses.
So it's not like Adam doesn't have something to add. People just get annoyed by his antics. And they side with the other person who cries victim more.
@@AKABattousai Sitch is still a more logical debater and voice irregardless of what you said
9:58 Bill Barr, as of April 2024, also said he prepares to vote for Trump, because the other option is more destructive. Even he, whom you have cited multiple times in this video to challenge Trump, is able to look and contextualize beyond the focal points of cope and come to this conclusion when churning through the broader calculus. Despite direct insult from Trump, Barr laughs it off but still plans to vote for the lesser threat in his eyes. We've had a brief back and forth on twitter about this a couple months ago.
What are the choices here?
Barr was either lying about his support for Trump or purposefully embellishing details of his *danger* for purposes of book sales when he thought it was safe to do so (writing his book before Trump's 2024 announcement). Either way, Barr would *not* be an honest and trustworthy actor.
The third possibility is that Barr was _not_ being dishonest. But this implies he does sincerely find Trump as a threat, *however* despite that threat he *still* finds the other side to be the bigger danger. If that is the case, and we decide we are citing Barr, with all of his first-hand experience and whatnot, then it is not an unreasonable position to choose Trump in November.
We are arriving at different conclusion using similar math.
I lost any and all respect for Adam when he said that Trump's insurrection and coup attempts could be good things because they show that he's "willing to fight for what he believes in". He's just a clown
That was a "hot take" as the kids say
It makes sense in a concerning way if you believe trump was in denial about losing and just deluding himself into thinking he won and there was fraud everywhere.
To an extent I would want someone who believes they’ve been cheated to try and call it out. In that sense of trump was in denial and convincing himself he won then arguably he should fight to prove it and get the final win. (Making it a good thing in that scenario)
On the flip side. We don’t want people who have lost refusing to accept defeat and because they can’t prove they were cheated they try to cheat themselves just because they feel their opponent did
SItch gives more nuance to these discussions. Adam just is easly predictable and audience captured. You know exactly what he is going to say. If Adam is a "centrist" then I am a full blown commie leftist.
@@GnosticInformant Then you're a full blown commie leftist.
Or alternatively, you just don't get what "centrism" is, or what "audience capture" is.
Do you think his MMT shit is catering to the crowd?
(postscript: I kinda do think Sitch and Adam both are a touch craven for ditching the label "enlightened centrist")
Did you see the one where adam argued with sitch in favor of just fucking lying like it was some nuanced point?
@@dickyboi4956 doesn't ring a bell, nor does it have the ring of truth.
Adam is not a wussy. He’s just a chill person who is very high and psychological reactants.
Online political streamers are a blight on conversations. I've never seen a group of individuals more motivated by their egos. "Im for truth" should be followed by "...as long as it gets me validation." Have a good day.
Good thing I'm mostly a youtuber! Phew!
i would imagine this is probably representative of punditry as a whole
@commercialbreak9531 obviously that would depend on the pundit. I can say for sure that any pundit unable to control their emotions and focus on solving a problem rather than starting debate bro drama via TH-cam essays has the awareness of a child. Before anyone gets emotional about what I've said, my commentary obviously includes Adam and sitch.
We asked for well done. Connor, the stakes are basically charcoal 😢
I've also seen Adam block many people on Twitter for even respectful and good faith disagreements.
hello I just despise adam and i'm here too boost video engagement
07
We take those, welcome!
I watched Adam try to shame and gaslight Pisco for daring to ask him to clarify his position on Trump. Adam was to piss scared to do it and claimed that he wont clarify what he believes about Trump because Pisco is dishonest. I was super pissed of because I, a long time S&A fan couldn't find out what Adam even believes now. He's been saying things that contradicts what I expect him to say based on his past comments on Trump, so now I actually don't know at all, I need him to clarify it somewhere. So I had missed the episode with Pondering and Hutch. Apparently Adam went into the substance there... No he didn't. He spent the entire time evading direct questions. He got asked a bit too directly to slither away and had to eventually tell them something. Only for him to FORCE divert the conversation as soon as the pushback began. I was like Finally! but then Adam slithered away like a pond frog. It was so obvious how he panicked when he realized he had uttered an opinion in the presence of people that can knock his house of cards argument over. This is so gross. Seeing someone I though had a spine behaving in the most obvious spineless ways.
Then finally came the stream with you on. You were GLORIOUS. You pinned Adam time after time with your direct and unequivocal challenge for him to state his opinion. Each time he refused and evaded his dishonesty was on full display and imposable to miss. You eventually got him to state his position. But at this point, his refusal to state his position in the presence of people that would push back was a much bigger indictment of his character than his actual position.
I used to kinda like Adam. He was always Sitch's dumber co host but he had a bit of a charm. Now when I see him I get this dirty feeling.
The problem is that he doesn't have opinions, he has feelings. He is actually the snowflake that he spends all his time criticizing.
Yeah as a big S&A fan, I agree with many of the criticisms of Adam over the last few months. He seems emotionally invested in hating both sides and props up Trump tremendously to do so.
Bro what is the freaking obsession with knowing who someone votes for? The reason Adam gets angry and douchy is that people like Connor and Pisco act like he owes them an explanation and demand to know know who he’s voting for(only because they wanna piss and moan if it turns out to be Trump). To most normal people this is very annoying and yes it’s dishonest. The whole point of being independent is you don’t owe anything to anyone
@@Johnnysmithy24 If your job is political commentary then you should have a coherent idea of what is important to you to earn your vote. If you don't even know what your desired political outcome is then that doesn't make you independent it makes you either stupid or weak.
You are absolutely right when it comes to normal people, but Adam isn't a normal person. His job is talking to an audience about politics and politically adjacent things. With that comes some degree of responsibility.
I like how “Adam sucks” was clickbait for a political ad lol
Greetings from Latvia. I like Adam but I don't get his support of Trump. Trump and his teammate still do not admit losing the last elections. For that matter, there is no admission in any wrongdoings. Anyway, good luck, and I hope for a clear victory. but probably there is no chance that is happening. We will enjoy the show anyway.
Here's a quote from a transcript of a Destiny video uploaded August 10 2023 where I think Adam Friended unwittingly admits to being audience-captured at 36:55 to 37:37: "everyone knows I'm a [ __ ] liberal okay so every single conservative in our audience is not going to take my opinion seriously because they're going to say he's not one of us so why am I trying to like be something that I'm not to these people uh *to try and win them over it's not it's not going to be feasible* obviously you're going to criticize your side more because you feel like you have a bigger influence over them. that's why I'm criticizing the left I'm saying this is ineffective and we should go in a different direction"
...even though there are no lefties in his audience...
It is comical that you claim Donald Trump is the threat to your liberal utopia, but anyone deciding to vote on their individual benchmarks triggers you to the point of making a 17 minute response reeee video.
Tell me you didn’t watch it without telling me.
What a disingenuous framing.
Adam isn’t just somebody with “their own individual benchmark triggers”, he’s somebody who makes bold claims and never *once* proves them.
Conor literally said in the same video, that you didn’t watch, that Adam’s feigned deeper understanding of Trump was a farce, and that he didn’t even understand his own positions.
Adam went so far as to attack other people with accusations (he couldn’t prove, again) and then run away. He did it to me too!
@@jagerbradley on twitter he just told me he’s not even in a firm camp for Trump. The dude will not own anything.
@@counterfireaway I watched your whole video and still feel that it is not your responsibility to ensure everyone agrees with you and your opinions. How Adam, or anyone for that matter, votes is up to that individual. You should by now realize that you can not lecture or shame individuals out of how they feel, even when you think they are completely incorrect.
@@counterfireaway Your response is just further proof of how illiberal you really are. Oh this random TH-cam commenter disagrees with me…. Must not have listened to all the facts I was spitting.

One of the best ways of identifying who is willing to be a man in a given situation is do they know their beliefs and are they willing to advocate for their beliefs. Adam is great at the second half, if only he could ever figure out what his actual beliefs are...
He’s an independent and undecided voter, why should he owe Connor an explanation?
Adam and Stitch have always come across as couch sitting non voters for awhile, I don’t know why anyone takes them seriously.

Its always bothered me that Sitch had this show with Adam. Sitch always strikes me as actually intelligent and Adam strikes me as someone who thinks he is. It feels like Sitch is being taken advantage of and actually believes the stuff he says. Whereas Adam is just hiding how dumb his views are lol. I still think Sitch is wrong. But at least he has put in the bare minimum critical thinking to reach his views. I think Adam is lying, and impressively stupid.
connor is Titus and adam was Leandros during that final scene in wh40k space marine
titus to leandros - "The Codex Astartes is a set of rules. They guide us... shape us as Ultramarines ... teach us to hold duty and honor sacred above all. But how we live with those rules is the true test of a Space Marine. And you... have failed." except the codex is the US constitution
Adam is remedial
I've said it before, but I honestly didn't think anything of this except petty drama until he started insinuating Connor was being paid by Brianna Wu knowing full well that's not the case. Brianna also being someone he and Sitch had amicable discussions with in the past, but his audience doesn't trust. It felt like he was weaponizing that, and that was more telling than anything else.
Adam says Brianna Wu because she was associated with PV and was probably the most prominent person in it.
Also there is talk that PV is still funneled through act blue and other groups that Wu is still connected to.
Even if she isn't "directly part of PV anymore..." there is still a chance that Wu contributes to the other groups who are funding PV.
But Adam isn't getting that nuanced with it. They just knew that Wu was part of a Pac or two that is pushing Democrats to win electorally.
This drives me crazy though. People working towards political ends get paid all the time. Think tanks, lobbyists, pundits, commentators, news analysts etc. If you're openly showing bias towards an outcome that aligns with the money, people can suspect that you're biased, but until you show that theres a conflict in values, I think its cringe to assume hypocrisy.
Tucker Carlson is a die hard dissident right conservative. No one criticizes him for working for/with dissident right folk. He wears his bias on his sleeve.
I've been never trump since i started. I'm working towards him losing because i think his presidency is bad for the republic. simple as.
@@counterfireaway the notion of getting paid by one side who's directly interested in winning for their side is that you being paid means you will come at that side with kid gloves. Or a softer touch.
Deep down I don't think people have a huge problem with making money and being someone who expresses their views in a meaningful way.
It's just that when it comes to politics or say news... People don't like that there are moneyed interests backing people who are pushing lies knowingly. Or being more successful because they are taking advantage of someone who's talented, and then corrupting them and others by paying them to push Mistruths.
Adam always struck me as someone acting with a dude bro/I'm too cool persona to cover up his weaker knowledge/critical thinking compared to Sitch and it really showed when he was pressured.
Great video as always Connor! I appreciate your fire in this video, it’s so frustrating that this dummy got to this point

From my experience, former employees rarely if ever have nice things to say about their former employers.
Also, you didn't really "disprove" the notion that Trump's personality won't effect you in any way. It simply won't. His policy is the only thing tht will actually effect you. Even when you mention Trump's policy, you still circle back to personality issues, such as "his unpleasantness".
To leftists like yourself, President Trump represents something far worse in your mind then he actually represents in reality. @@counterfireaway Trump was the first President since Harding to not get America involved in any new wars. The disastrous Afghan withdraw and the Ukraine war breaking out all happened under the Biden/Harris regime.
In terms of the economy? "Bidenomics" is now a metaphor of failure.
You backed the wrong horse this time around. I'll pray you come around in time.
@@counterfireaway "Trump was 100% responsible for a global pandemic" - Conor.
@@0redfr0g0 lol tell me you didn’t watch the video without tell me dummy!
@counterfireaway What? Clearly, you dont even understand your own arguments. If you think anywhere in the video, you addressed how under any president millions of deaths and a damaged economy were basically guaranteed. You only breifly touched on 'stimulus during recession bad.' Which is fine...but also the CARES act had basically unanimous bipartisan support in the house (416-6) and actual unanimous support in the senate (96-0) so kinda weird to have your only real policy disagreement be the most universally supported action Trump ever took.
I like this video and I hate to be an “ackshully🤓” guy, but I do have a slight correction on MMT. You’re right that MMT considers real resources (ie economic growth) as the most important factor in macro/fiscal policy. However, the institutional arrangements matter too. According to MMT, deficits DO matter in the sense that spending is constrained by taxing and borrowing IF the following conditions are in place:
- a gold or any other commodity standard
- a fixed exchange rate with a foreign currency
- large amounts of foreign denominated debt (eg. If the US sold Chinese investors bonds RMB bonds instead of USD treasury bonds).
These institutional choices do impose a constraint, but they can be overcome by adopting a fully sovereign currency, with no promise to convert currency into a scarce commodity or foreign currency, as well as low or zero foreign-denominated debt. There is a spectrum of monetary sovereignty, and MMT acknowledges not every country can be in the same spot to adopt certain measures, but at the same time they do recommend as sovereign a system as possible, like what exists in the US, Canada, UK, Australia and Japan, all of which are different in terms of their foreign trade balance and internal markets. So your characterization is correct as long as the country meets those criteria for sovereignty. Hope this made sense!
I was muted on Twitter over an MMT debate, funnily my university course was actually written by Bill Mitchell but Adam said I didn’t actually understand it.
At Uni it was a cult, Mitchell’s close friend and colleague took over as Mitchell began to give overseas lectures. If you ever actually read their work it has nothing to do with the deficit, which they stole from Lerners functional finance (a market socialist) and every single assignment had to be written with the acceptance of the Job Guarantee or you were marked down. It’s a mote and Bailey argument, they only care about the Job Guarantee.
Other students brought grades being market down to our tutor and he admitted yeah he does mark people down for political disagreement.
In one of the lectures they mentioned the natural rate of interest is 0% and I challenged the lecturer saying well what’s the point of interest rates then, to which I got a BS answer, and an email asking not to ask questions as it was taking up to much time in the lectures, however the lecture finish 20 min early.
It’s litterally a cult, the only reasonable one I’ve seen is Steven Keen but he is like an outside of the group.
Adam’s a moron and Sitch is a coward for sweeping for him constantly.
