That’s awesome! It was one of those things that just happened while building, figured it would be fun to include! I’ve been loving your videos, nice work!
I LOVE how you teach your kids to do all of these things with you. I'm the neighborhood "bike" guy, always teaching kids to fix and take care of their own bikes.
My son is just turning 3yrs old. I love watching you teach your kids how to do things themselves. Teaching them skills with tools while building your roll in, helping them to learn to fix a flat tire, etc. Love it.
awesome to see the kids wanting to be involved and help build and maintain the system, and learning how to work on their own bikes. see too many kids get a flat and have nobody to teach them how to fix it
Love that its all about the kids. Great kids you have there!!!! and getting them outside and enjoying all that nature and life has to offer outside of a screen woot!
Ha, just before you said "You know MIlo, this is the first time I've followed you through a real DJ line" I was thinking, damn that is an awesome dad feeling to follow your kid on something like that. He probably didn't notice, but Dad's sure do! Another amazing video, you are a role model in awesomeness and dadliness!
What can I say. Another great video 👍👍 I like the last 2 video so much that I had my wife watch them with me to see how you are with your boys. Me. And my family all ride but you have something special with your boys. I hope you have great success with this channel and your riding. Love the channel
Always makes my day seeing these when they come out, something just so wholesome about seeing the father son relationships and makes me want to cry every time, keep up the good work you lot and I know I’ll keep tuning in 🙃. Much love from the UK
Watch his video about the bike/camping trip with the whole family. One of the best edited videos ever. Looks like it was made as an ad by a multi million dollar company.
When I was 12 I raked leaves for a summer so I could buy my 1st BMX bike. Sometimes you just have to make it happen on your own. Set goals and hang in there.
So glad another person said this. I love Erik Porter's videos with his sons but at the same time they make me so sad. It's like I am seeing an alternate reality of a childhood I could have had if I was a boy. I eventually learned basic construction from high-school theater crew and bike mechanics from my local bike co-op but it would have been better if I could have learned from my dad.
I just want to thank you for inspiring me to build my own jumps in the forest and i was suppprised when the council let me build it it took a few months to build it and today i finaly rode it The first time i crashed but tried it again and got it if it wasnt for you i wouldnt have got the confidence to hit the 10ft jump
I've been watching these vids for a while now and I wasn't subscribed but after a few times watching your channel you've definatley earned another subscriber 🤘🏻 loving the work
Subbed! We are actively looking for a house with a few acres and this is exactly the kind of fun stuff I'd love to build on the property. Lifetime of fun and bonding with my three little ones.
Your children are growing so fast, I remember seeing them when Seth came over to your house and hit the big line, they seemed so much smaller. Milo is turning into a fine young men and Owen is still a 5 year old in his mind riding the push bike Haha!
Doing the flat repair with your son brought back memories of teaching the same with my boys and even further back with my dad.
That’s awesome! It was one of those things that just happened while building, figured it would be fun to include! I’ve been loving your videos, nice work!
Wait... You taught your dad to fix patches??
Please don't take anything to heart and just read it and have a laugh
AllahRakha his dad taught him how to fix a flat tube I’m pretty sure
@@garethsteinitz3008 it was a joke 🤦🏼♂️
I just had my first daughter 3 weeks ago and I gotta say you are dad goals man! Teach them how to fix it! Looks like good quality time spent together!
That’s awesome, congrats! You’re going to have so much fun!
I just watched Seth's new vid and now Eric's i just like these vids
Same here
Same lol
Same
What new video
Same
I love how chill milo is and how Owen is the comedy relief guy lol
He used a patch kit that looks like it costs more than the tube
It’s a $3 patch kit from Lezyne and it has 6 patches and a sidewall boot!
I need to stop using park tool ones then
Porter MTB how old is Owen
@@PorterMTB and let me guess the tube is 1 dollar
@@aneyelesspig8899 Who cares what it cost? Teaching his son to fix his own things instead of relying on others is a life lesson.
This is probably the best way to gain confidence in dirt jumps especially at a young age, the jumps are basically custom made to their skill level !
Why does he need a push bike dangerous tiny you can’t even jump it
Play bike
@@archer8111 because why not he has a bmx
Also full face helmet gain some confidence because u know u got good protection
So ur know as afraid to push ur self
I'm watching this from the chairlift at a bikepark
Enjoy the ride 👑
That’s awesome!
Legend
No way 😂
Love the Owen flat tire section.
He was so stoked to learn how to do it!
Yea that was amazing

@@morganeescort5811 congratulations
That push bike on the Stand is one of the cutest things I've ever seen
I LOVE how you teach your kids to do all of these things with you. I'm the neighborhood "bike" guy, always teaching kids to fix and take care of their own bikes.
Thanks! It's great passing down the knowledge to empower the kids!
Booo! Those goathead thorns are the bane of inner tubes. You're a great dad, to patiently show how to fix and build things. :)
My son is just turning 3yrs old. I love watching you teach your kids how to do things themselves. Teaching them skills with tools while building your roll in, helping them to learn to fix a flat tire, etc. Love it.
That's awesome, 3 years old is great, such a fun age, and it only keeps getting better!
What a Sunday!!! A Seth video and an Eric video!! Jackpot!!!
awesome to see the kids wanting to be involved and help build and maintain the system, and learning how to work on their own bikes. see too many kids get a flat and have nobody to teach them how to fix it
Best dad of the year he drops everything he’s doing and helps Owen😎
I was so close to first but I’ve never been this early so I’m happy 🤗
I love the commitment and love you show to your kids that’s something really buitifull.
These dad videos are the best! Dont stop. I need to come up with a good jump for my 5 year old to learn on
your an awesome dad, even though your kids may not realize it yet when they grow up they will thank you for everything you’ve done
Thank you for making being a dad look cool!
I think when I’m older I’m going to try something like your jump line you are such an inspiration great videos
Most wholesome MTB channel on TH-cam. 🖤
Love that its all about the kids. Great kids you have there!!!! and getting them outside and enjoying all that nature and life has to offer outside of a screen woot!

Following your kid through dirt jumps - proud dad moment, for sure! Really enjoying these videos! Thanks for taking us along.
Milo and Owen are pros in the making with a backyard like this
I was looking forward for these times with my kiddo.
Great vid man this series is better than matt jones backyard trails series
Love how you teach your kids everything you do !!
This man doesn’t receive enough views for what he does his vids are amazing keep it up man
Thanks! I really appreciate that!
Who let the chickens out!! That new hip/berm feature is awesome! So fun..... great video!
Can watch this every day! Amazing track, good dad and sons time, great hobby.
Back yard jumps are looking just excellent, the part on fixing the flat tire was way cool 🚀👌🚵🏼♀️🔧

Absolutely love the builds you guys do, wish i could have something as cool as that near my house.
Thanks! Maybe you will one day!
Your boys are going to be beasts when they grow up.👏💪
Man it's so cool to see the way you take the time to coach your kids though that stuff. A++
It makes my day to see that you uploaded keep up the good content man 👍
These videos inspire me so much to build those medium jumps
Great stuff. Wonderful way to recycle that first landing and make it work for everyone. Thanks for sharing!
i love getting my boy to fix his own things, the problems arise when he does them when its not needed!
I love this series I always watch your and seths backyard trail videos and love them but I think this series is my favorite
Super fun series. I'm watching with my 5 year old son. His favorite part was "who let the chickens out? Bok, bok, bok, bok, bok". Thanks!
I wish I could build these ramps......
I would at least try to if I had money, skills and room to
Can’t you just go to like a forest a find a fallen tree and borrow a saw from someone and go from there? Or is that illegal? Just an idea
That was actually better than any of the flat repair tutorial videos I’ve seen lol
Valuable lesson! Never learned that as a kid. Lucky kid!
8:31 I was vibing to that song right there, props
Awesomely job, great video. Milo is looking like a badass on the push bike.
You are an awesome Dad. Good on you!
Honestly love this vid high hopes for ur future.Keep up the good work
Who could dislike this? Man your boys are lucky.
Great video I really like seeing you and the kids having fun

They seem so genuine

Same, I have no way to make money atm so trying to keep my already dying bike running going is getting harder and harder
Somehowsurviving stick with it, if you have any questions you can ask YT or if you want, me.
