Maleficent having a few quiet words with mom and dad is a small, but powerful moment. We don't know what she said and I like that it's kept private, but their reactions tell us all we need to know, that what she said meant *a lot* to Malia's parents. I imagine there were deep layers of support and understanding, delivered completely in character.
That actress needs a raise. The way she engaged this baby gave me goose bumps.
Malia being Maleficent changed her entire character personality wise. She’s so much more confident and it is absolutely adorable!!! All of the characters and their interactions with Malia was so freakin cute! I’m so happy you guys were able to go to Mickey’s Halloween party!

I get the feeling that the cast of characters actually do remember Malia. It really is cool to watch. People who see millions of faces a day can remember a certain person, what an honor that is. I would say, Malia is one lucky girl to have people who don't even really know her, remember her and help her feel so special. It is so beautiful to watch.
