The fight just never made a lick of sense, why come back and fight someone as dangerous as Chandler, when it does absolutely zero for you, when you could have been rallying for chance at the belt at WW, or he easily could have fought for the LW belt (not saying he deserved it, he didn’t, but he could have gotten it for sure, Islam takes that fight in a heartbeat). The fight just never made a lick of sense, why come back and fight someone as dangerous as Chandler, when it does absolutely zero for you, when you could have been rallying for chance at the belt at WW, or he easily could have fought for the LW belt (not saying he deserved it, he didn’t, but he could have gotten it for sure, Islam takes that fight in a heartbeat). The only fight I saw him coming back for is chance to make history and win 3 belts, I think he like the sounds of being the first person who fought for 3 belts at 3 different weight classes. That, and maybe, just maybe there was a chance for him to fight Diaz for the third time.
