Sorry for posting this question here. Do 100% of Japanese people wear masks outdoors? If the borders open this summer to tourists, my elderly mother and I will visit Tokyo. I am worried for her potentially suffering from heat exhaustion or stroke as we explore the city with a mask on. We want to follow the rules and do not want to draw attention to ourselves, but not at the risk of her health. We cannot visit during any other time than summer. Do you think it will be okay for my mom to remove her mask outside in crowded places?(on the other hand, I will be wearing a mask at all times). Any thoughts?
