The story of Job is not really a paradox. Once you notice a few keys, the whole story makes sense. First of all, God asks satan whether he noticed His servant Job. God initiated the whole interaction. God baited the trap. Job was the bait. Also, God told satan that he could not kill Job. Why do you suppose God forbade that? Now compare Job to Jesus. God allowed satan to strike Jesus. In doing so, satan sealed his fate. Consider how God handled the plagues of Moses. Each plague was designed to destroy all the gods of Egypt. Remember that God thinks in thousands of years. He is targeting the false gods. Even now, He is destroying false gods for the good of mankind. Consider what has occurred with children in the past 5 years. Who has been targeting children? God is destroying that false god as well. Evil is brought to the surface so that it can be destroyed. The one that have taken children on a wrong path with be no more very soon. Don't be afraid when you hear of evil in the world. God is just allowing the evil to come forward so He can destroy it.
