    I miss SOOO MUCH the rain. We Filipinos love walking under the rain. When we were kids we ALWAYS play and shower during heavy downpour.

      That's true! Whenever I go to Manila and it rains, I love seeing all the kids running around in the rain and having the best time! It looks like so much fun haha!

      @mrccurri13  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      EXACTLY! Hahaha! Kids here have more fun in one day than some American kids will have their whole lives! I hope my kids will get to experience this life as well.

      @@mrccurri13 Yes playing outside will allow the development of LIFE SKILLS much needed to cope up with the challenges of an adult life. Kids who grow up just playing with their video games and PC will have a hard time managing their upcoming challenges and life trials. That's why Filipinos are "MAPARAAN" it's like able to solve problems in many ways. If one solution does not work then we go to plan B then plan C and plan D, etc. Let your wife explain to you what is MAPARAAN.

    God is always in control. Sometimes God asks us to rest and PRAY inside the house brother. Resilience is one trait of the Filipino, so Necessity makes many households save up for generators, to be used in a power outage. Even I am wondering why it is January and the weather is crazy over there. Coz what I remember from childhood is the rainy season usually starts around June. North America, just experienced massive snowstorms. Asher, you just got me concerned for your safety. Ingat, Stay Safe.

    Rain is good for the 🪴 🌿 your province is lucky you getting enough rains 🌧 unlike my province don't get enough rains for so many years. In the barrio where i grow up suffers for not getting enough water and people could hardly plant tobacco, vegetables and rice. Most of the time the soil is dry. I wish my province is like your province that gets plenty of rain every year.

    Good thing their area is not flooded like a lot of most areas in the country. It become a huge burden to the affected people destroying their homes and livelihood. Philippines has the front row seats with the effects of global warming. Next 50-100 years a lot of the islands in this country will sink.
    Some Pinoy make it a habit like its a good thing. To boost their egos. Just another misplaced Filipino pride.
    Careful in crossing rivers like that you'll never know it will suddenly get stronger. Seen in some videos in Cebu they were swimming in some river banks during the rain. Little did they know a huge flow of water is coming down from the mountains and a lot of them got carried away and some died.

    If this kind of continuous rain happens in the U.S. specifically in the Florida area people will already make a fuzz out of it like they will start panic buying, fear mongering, getting stressed out, etc. but in the Philippines it is actually a SOURCE of FUN and WATER ACTIVITY hehehe - see the difference in people's perspective about life and situations? LIFE IS A CHOICE, IT IS HOW YOU MAKE GOOD FROM SOMETHING THAT IS BAD.

    • @krakenwindzstorm961
      @krakenwindzstorm961 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Nah its not fun in some areas. These days a lot of areas in the countries are flooded with continuous rain. Easy for you to say if you're not affected. But for most Filipinos it become a huge burden destroying their homes and livelihood.
