Brilliant Jon, love spending time in a hide especially when it's busy. Last year when I was in Blandford the hide I visted was busy all the time, half the time you just don't know which direction to point the camera!
A very pleasant way to spend a few hours Jon, although I admit these days I very rarely photograph the birds but just like to watch them come into the garden... In the last few weeks I have been out and put up about a dozen bird boxers with my mate - we are both bird lovers. I was smiling at you getting a lttle excited at the bullfinch - not to make you jealous but both male & female bullies come to my small garden, today whilst washing up the dishes I had 3 males and 2 females in at the same time🙂 Lovely bird at 11:34, was that a willow tit. I was jealous seeing the crested at 11:52, we don't get them around here. Gorgeous light n conditions to shoot in. Some cracking images. atb Alan
Hello. Thanks for asking the question. Sometimes life just gets in the way. Without going into all the details I’ve had several difficult years personally and unfortunately photography has taken a back seat. Also I found that as I posted videos I just wasn’t getting enough views and so I don’t qualify for ad revenue. The result is that there’s not a huge incentive or payback to keep putting the effort into making videos. I know there aren’t lots of wildlife photographers making videos but when you go out shooting it isn’t easy to make a video. There are often long periods of no action. And there is only so much you can say. I may come back to it at some point. Who knows 🤷♂️
Fabulous video Jon! Nothing can beat the winter light in the snow!
