I love the toy museum tour. You mentioned the cable car toy,. I had one also, and used it until it fell apart, and couldn't be fixed. I found a new one online 2 years ago they are still available from the same manufacturer. The only change in 60 years the car is now made of plastic instead of tinplate. I'm really liking your videos, keep them coming.😊😊
Thanks for the video from the Toy Museum. Quite enjoyable. Good luck with the second knee replacement.............. and that it all goes even better than the first. Remember, listen to the medical staff and your good wife. Ottawa, Canada
Good luck with the surgery. I love your down to earth approach to life and hobbies. A daughter of mine went to college at St. Michael’s in Burlington. Beautiful city in the spring. We live in Rhode Island. It’s supposed to warm up to freezing next week.
I had a mini-split install this summer in a 1200 SF building and it’s cut my winter heating by about 20% so far this winter. Everything is outside except the wall unit and we just left the old overhead unit in place. Easy and quick install. Love the savings!
Glad you caught the furnace before it got real bad or worse. Sometime things happen for a reason. Maybe time to change things up a little. The museum gives a lot of memories.
@ yes when you first put the rock on there I knew it would make it heavy. Best always stick to paper mache or carve your own rocks from blocks of old expanded polystyrene from packing cases. All structures will need gluing down so that the table can be folded vertically.
As a youngster, about 5, my grandmother bought me a Lionel set for Christmas, the Texas Special. My dad mounted a 4x8 sheet of plywood to my bedroom wall, hinged to cover the bed. With the board down we ran the trains, then took off the cars and flipped it up for the night. I remember it like it was yesterday, or maybe like it was 68 years ago, what a good time.
@ yes I’m an enthusiast myself and as an ex-electrical inspector I did get to see many fabulous layouts in peoples lofts. It’s a space that a lot of people don’t think of using.
HEY, ..KEN Well, That's not Good but better Safe than sorry But is has to be Done and I Imagine that's going to be very Expensive Furnace chang And in the long Run a new furnace might save you money.. Wow,That train Museum was Pretty cool And That Train Mountain village train set up Was Awesome Also Everything else in The museum was Really cool too They had Alot of stuff for Being such a small place OK Guys take care and Stay safe on all of your travels 👍 ✌️ 🙏 Mark.D Barre,vt 🇺🇸
HEY, .. KEN Well That's not that Expensive But They are Installing it and Everything right So that's not too Bad plus It could Of been Alot More and it has To get done anyways so what Are you going to Do And as long As you Get a good warranty on The installation Work and on the Heater Unit Itself Well Ken Hope it all Works out Great 🤞 take Care and Stay Safe on all of Your Travels
Thanks, Ken, for a very interesting tour of the toy museum. Lauren is a very pretty girl. I grew up in the 50s, and my favorite toys were trains and construction toys. I'm 84 now and play with big toys. Like old cars and street rods.
Thank you for the Quechee visit. I had some of the same old toys that I threw out and/or sold recently as I downsized after 70 years accumulating stuff. I wish I had known about this museum. It's only a couple of hours drive.
Sorry for your heat loss but you have a chance to remodel the garage 🎉 and the newer system are way more efficient. So Thumbs up 👍. And say hello to Dan, and Chad.
Thank you for the museum tour, you keep coming up with great entertainment ideas. Will be praying for your knee work and speedy recovery for selfish reasons. Don't want to miss any of your adventures.
Ken you need dust sheets to cover your set while not in uses in the end this will save time setting up to play sorry to hear your problems on heating my problem is heating my glasshouse but that just the power cost . Thank for the visit to the past brought back many memories.
Always enjoy a good museum but the one thing that comes to mind is dusting those small things and cleaning nose prints from the glass must be a full time job for someone!
Good morning Ken, 35 degrees here fl. Off too work I go ..drifting back too time fantastic video.thank god for a new heater ,before a disaster happen ..🐊🌴😎🥶🌴🥶🌴😎
Ken you might be better off putting the electric heater on the floor. Otherwise the floor may remain cold and the above area warm. That museum is cool. Was there a few years back.
Good morning 🙏 KEN. Which date is your surgery? This way I can pray throughout the day. GOD BLESS YOU AND SANDY. Today I am 71 Thankful❤❤ Stay warm in the garage. Praying for you and Sandy and family. 7° SE MICHIGAN. Toys are fun❤to look back. My Oma und Opa sent many packages from Germany. I still have my toys. Legos from the 50's. Stuffed zoo animals. Dolls etc. From Germany. I speak Berliner German. I wrnt twice to Germany in the 60's. Feels like yesterday. Thanks for the memories. Danke. The train set was amazing.
As long as it's above the teens outside, my insulated garage I can bring to at least 60 so I can airbrush.. under 60 glues dry very slowly also. 1500 watts + the amps you use matter also....love winter....
@ if electricity rate is less than 0.165$ per kWh (including taxes) then you would be better using electric heating (calculation based on 80% combustion efficiency of the Modine gas fired heater). Something to think about. Does the 3.69$ per gallons propane cost includes delivery?
Hi Ken it would be good I think if you could tie both model railways together so you can have some fun with link from one railway to the other seasons and trains on both circuits ever thought about that
That was so cool to go to that museum the train museum the train museum and the toys museum and the toy museum when I was a kid and I was cool to see him again
Thanks for the museum tour! Best of luck on your surgery.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Thanks Mr.Ken for sharing museum tour. 🎉

Cool Video Ken !! Good luck with the Surgery. Hopefully the heat is back up and running soon .
That was a Monster train layout !!
Yes that was a nice one

Nice
A mini-split heat pump would cut the heating cost would be less than half and do cooling when the temperature is too hot to work inside you garage.
Ken thanks for the update on your health and the layouts. I hope you have a quick recovery from surgery and you are up and back in good health soon.
Thanks I appreciate it.
Glad you caught the furnace before it got real bad or worse. Sometime things happen for a reason. Maybe time to change things up a little. The museum gives a lot of memories.
That’s true. Yes memories
You got good help coming with chad and Dan good luck
Absolutely. Thanks
Ken,may your second knee surgery go smoothly like the first one did for you and also your new furnace is installed while you’re laid up 😮😊❤👍
Thanks. I hope so too.
Ken, for your smaller table layout, I would hinge it from a strong six inch wide shelf and store it vertically when not in use.
That’s a pretty heavy table all that rock

Ken those gondolas won’t hang level unless you move the hanger into the centre line.

That’s good to know
Build a bridge between the two train tables maybe drawbridge.
Haha don’t give me ideas
Puppets are spooky 😂
Haha you’re right
Looks like you will need to up your game some to be competitive with that train setup!
Right
How much is propane (latest bill $/gallons) and electricity (latest bill$/kWh) in Lyndonville?
I just had a delivery. I think it was $3.69 per gallon.

You may have gotten more heat from a diesel heater.😮 HI Lauren 👋
Right. Thanks

I forgot to mention that the manufacturer of the cable car was Lehman Toys, who make LGB, or Lehman Gross Bahn, large scale garden trains.

I think you’re right. I need to change the name of it
Your heater is big enough for 800 SQ ft.
The modine was but the 2 little electric heaters aren’t

I think I’ve seen that too. Thanks
Hi Ken!!!....Is there no way to intigrate the first train layout together with the new train layout?
I’m pondering that. A lot for me to consider.
