Colony Cove is located about 15 minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico. We're just a County corner from the Ellenton Outlet mall so you have all the shopping and dining. All the fun stuff over there as well as medical facilities and drug stores that's all just outside of the neighborhood.
Now, as far as Colony Cove goes, this is going to be the resort-style community that you've heard about. I'm sure if you're in the mobile home industry or looking for a mobile home, you name the social activity they have it. They've got a handful of different swimming pools big, dog parks, tons of social activities, and fitness facilities, you name it.
Clubs for every interest that you could possibly have so if you're looking for something to do, you have your choice of items here at Colony Cove. We'll talk about lot rent, and the cost of the house here towards the end of the video so make sure you stay tuned towards the end when we do our numbers section.

Hi Mark, I'm New to your Channel. So I like this Home, But I would have replaced all the Appliances with Silver, Which in my opinion gives that Beauty. I would have all the Carpeting Clean, And from the Carport starts to the End, Repaved the Driveway. Overall it's a very Comfortable Home, Nice 👍🙂 Presentation Mark, See you at the next Video 😀📸👍🥰

Oh wow you got me at lot rent! I pay a little over 1000 a year on my stick built home property taxes. Wow I can’t believe that mobile home parks can Charge that excessive rent out a piece of land! That’s just crazy. There needs to be some laws in place where the staff all needs to be regulated.

When owning a mobile home in Florida where you pay lot rent you don't have to pay property taxes which is a huge financial savings. Colony Cove also pays for your sewer, trash, landscaping and amenity usage. Many folks tend to just look at the lot rent and say it is high but when itemizing out exactly what one pays on a stick and brick home it quickly becomes a viable option for many who want the lifestyle. I used to live about 3 miles down Hwy 301 in single family home community and I can tell you Colony Cove is not that well kept or nice.

Neighborhood and surrounding area looks kinda dumpy. Not that great. Old sad mobile homes is all I see to tell the truth.

Thanks for commenting. Colony Cove is the largest park in Florida. With over 2,400 homes in the community it would reasonable to think like, with every large community, you will run into some home that have fallen on hard times. The vast majority of the community is very nice and the ammenities are top notch!
