Thanks Jonathan. You forgot to mention that you must have the Oxygen Gutenberg plugin witch is in the Agency pack. Just so no one will be confused. P.S. Happy to see Oxygen is close to 9k subs
Cool. If you go back and edit your “Large Title 3 Column” block in oxygen, does it cascade to the instances of the block which have added to the page.?
Hey how are your color-indicators circles (as they should be)? Mine are still ovals, result of a css conflict with wp core.... wp-picker-container .wp-color-result.button { min:height: 30px }.
Does it distinguish between a "global" block where the content is the same everywhere it's output, versus "editable" where each copy of the block can have various changes? If you substantially change the block, like edit the elements, add/rem more, etc, would it effect the content of the block where it was used?
Is there a way to create a section where I can add gutemberg blocks form the editor? Like in the column block.. So the user can decide to add a paragraph. A list. A quote or any other block in that part of the block
Thanks Jonathan . That was simple and to the point. Can you go into using roles to mask Oxygen to the client, so they can edit limited elements in Gutenberg?
Thanks for this, but when I click on the hamburger, there is no option to make it a block. And I do have the Oxygen Gutenberg plugin. Am I missing something?
I've followed your instructions but... my blocks seem to lost their layout once they are applied in Gutenberg. Any ideas what's wrong? Community on FB and Git seem to have no idea what is wrong.
I may be wrong but it sound like apples and potatoes comparison, and neither in most cases should have an UX measurable impact on the site speed until you reach some bigger numbers with repeating data when I would believe the ACF to be a better solution. But the speed itself should not be the reason to choose one in front of the another, I believe there are other pros and cons in this case.
@@GrappeKoolaid we are back to apples and potatoes comparison. There are plenty of usage cases and tutorials that explain the purpose of ACF. If you just want the best admin UI solution for some simple usage, the speed comparison itself is 99% irrelevant, and you should think about the better UX and the practical usage. There are pros and cons for both and it really depends from case to case what plays better in which scenario... But the site speed is not the thing you should worry about.
What would be the purpose of doing this? It would only make sense if the blocks could live without oxygen installed and you could use those same blocks on other sites.

Thanks Jonathan. Another short and sweet one.

Very cool, but I've had problems with the Guttengurg Oxygen plugin whichh converts the OXYGEN page into editable block when whitelisting the client...
Is it possible to use Oxygen Gallery block in Gutenberg? I can't find a way to edit the gallery content when I add the gallery to the gutenberg.

Hi, did you find a solution? My Oxygen Gutenberg page doesn't show anything, even while "Make this full page editable in Gutenberg" is active.
How can I convert my old blog pages (classic editor) to Gutenberg?
Is the photo replaceable? Like if I wanted to swap out the image for a different page or something?
yes, on right hand side it says "change image url"
I did. I get elements in the gutenberg editor but they are not displayed nicely or as in the video. Any help on this./
What is the benefit of using gutenberg blocks vs acf performance/speed wise?
