I think that your friend is right about everything happening for a reason. To have a chronic illness and to be so far away from your family and friends for your first graduate job would have been very hard. You have some time now to get things back onto an even keel before the next opportunity presents itself, because it will. You’re in the great position of not having to look for a tide you over job, as you already have your job in the cinema which will keep the wolf from the door. It’s very easy to just want to take any job if you don’t have one and it’s so easy to get stuck there once you get a regular income which often means giving up prematurely on your dreams. You don’t have to do that. You already did that once when you got sick in the first place but you clawed your way back to them. There is something really amazing out there for you which will find its way to you. On a different note I loved Come From Away. It’s by far and away the best musical I’ve ever seen. I can’t wait to see it again. It’s such an inspirational story and it’s all true. When we went to see it in February some of the real characters were in the audience, Oz and Diane and Nick I think it was. Totally amazing story xx

I'm with you the right thing will fall into place when I'm ready and I was nowhere near ready. It's scary but you all know I'm not the kind of person to stop trying. I've not come this far to give up on my dreams 💜 It's such a beautiful and well-crafted show, I couldn't believe I'd never heard that story before and that's what makes it so special. That's amazing.
