My invention, at 10 yrs old in 1986. I designed a machine working with Kelly Ryan MFG. In Blaire Nebraska. At the time working in the Ag industry. Then the machine cost 16,500$ (1986).present cost 68,500$ (2021) with a new design of three interchangable tunnels 8' 9' 10' . We in the industry have struggled to keep prices down. This costing our silage bag manufacture in Cottage Grove,MN (up north plastics) we buy our oil resin pellets from Canada and other resources our structure building industry Calhoun Superstructures, Norseman , Brite span structures in Canada a long side us supporting to keep cost of products at a reasonable cost...we can not control the price of gas or oil...that is out of our hands. It's come to my attn that we've had to lay off employees too keep overhead down during COVID concerns. We as a an industry have been overwhelmed in demand , our products are at 4-6 month back order... generally when we are 1.5 yrs ahead on production cost...
Our cost remain the same but we have lost... Dramatically...keep us in your prayers..we are fighting the good fight.
To all our customers and representives in the industry
    Happy Holidays.🪺🌲
    Thank you and God bless.

how do you extract the silage from the bags after fermentation, could you do a video?

You cut it open and scoop it out with any kind of machine with a bucket. When you can't reach any more silage, you cut back some more of the bag so you can get more silage.

Seeing how long that box is up in the air and how the silage bridges up makes me very nervous. Any bit of wind and it increases the risk of an accident dramatically. As a bit of an alternative I like the DumpDek machine better - at least there is a landing spot and no waiting for the chains to feed.

I've seen two too over. One was our own that we were hauling dirt with. It just wasn't sliding out. Second one was someone else who couldn't get a load of sweet corn out because they didn't have enough of an angle to get dumped. Plus he was ramrodding it pretty bad

There is a set up where the truck dumps right into the bagger, the bagger has its own power so no need for 2 tractors, 2 drivers and speeds up unloading as the transfer seems to be a bottle neck. they've had them at least 30 yrs in EU as we did whole crop wheat that way. And by how many bags they have it'd save them a pile o money.

How does bag move as it fills??

@@richmaniscalco201 The bagger machine is pressing the crop into the bag. Cables go to the back of the bag (where it started) and hold the bagger in place until pressure builds enough to roll the bagger and tractor forward.
