I didn’t really think dream would just let him out like that after spending almost a year locked up because of Sam
Kind of deserved though, dream did try to put the entire server under tyranny , which led to his imprisonment, he also tortured Sam's mind while being in the prison's walls

I'm 80% sure that getting stuck with Techno is what drove him to insanity:) Not torture, not isolation, just pure concentrated Techno.
It also shows how good Dream is at mental manipulation, he manipulated Sam in a week, against what Quackity couldn't do in a year.

I mean Dream's definition of truly evil was basically describing himself and Tommy (early on in the server when he caused chaos and destruction because it was fun). (cause "truly evil does bad things for no reason at all, because they like it")
Dream quite literally wasted time he could have used to reclaim his armour to chase and torment Tommy around, like a cat with a mouse.

I don’t know. I think he truly wants to live there. The prison was never meant for Tommy. That was a cover the whole time. I think he is going to try and gain the servers trust like he did with Sam.
I don't think he's going to put Tommy in right away, since he knows that Tommy's relying on Philza, he's probably going to lock Philza up first.
Bad call locking up Phil. That's the easiest way to get on the Techno kill list. Not sure Dream wants beef with the one man on the sever who can kill him.

he definitely wouldn’t put Tommy in prison. Tommy’s under Phil’s protection at the moment so if Dream wants to get to Tommy he’d have to go through Phil, which would just trigger techno. And I don’t think he would do that since him and techno are basically somewhat allies, and techno is also the strongest person on the SMP aside from Dream himself
Not gonna lie Sam let the power of being the Warden go to his head which resulted in the death of Ramboo, Techno and Tommy getting stuck in the prison even though they did nothing wrong, and he became even worse than Dream so he kinda deserves this.
