Another great video! I feel as if I just had a meal with friends! Your house looks beautiful all decorated for fall. I especially liked your apron Jen! I enjoyed you answering a question……the destinations weren’t what I expected……I was thinking it would be from one of your cruises. Rich is always so complimentary of your cooking……it’s really sweet! Have a great weekend!
Love watching yall!! Beautiful apron!! Thank you for trying so many wonderful dishes and giving your honest opinions, it has sure helped for this family of 3!❤🥗🍲🥙🥘🍜 yum!
I love these videos when you buy prepared meals at places and cook them up at your home. Please keep doing these. Also you mentioned you have an easy recipe for making croutons- I hope you will make a video showing us how to do that. I am very interested in that. Keep up the great work!
Yes, I’d love to see you make your croutons!👍🏼 That meal was right up my alley because I love Italian food! The only thing missing was garlic bread😋 Thanks for sharing and have a blessed weekend🙏
Love the fall decor Jen! Meal looked pretty good, especially the lemon dessert. I love all things lemon. And yes, YOU HAVE TO HAVE DESSERT in my book. I agree, when I walk around Costco, I keep thinking whoa, stuff has really gone up in price. You just have to know how to look for these meals like you guys do. When you divide it up, wayyy cheaper than eating at a restaurant. Thanks for the great ideas you give us!
I'm a fairly new subscriber, but I have watched the majority of your videos already! My favorite part is how much you and Rich seem to genuinely enjoy eachothers company. I'm also so appreciative of how kind you are to service workers. Warms my heart! Thank you for your videos!
We are new subscribers to your channel. We watched this video on Saturday afternoon, rushed right out and signed up at Sam's Club here in Cheyenne, WY. Bought the manicotti plus lots, lots more home with us. So glad that we saw this video, because we also had to cook this extra time and higher temp. Really good along with the Cesear Salad.
Wow, that’s great! I’m so glad to hear that you are enjoying Sam’s too! We will definitely be doing more reviews of Sam’s foods. And thank you so much for subscribing!
I lived in Canton, Ohio, for 3.5 years. The Amish created amazing dishes. I purchased meals from them once per week. I also purchased a beautiful homemade quilt. Precious memories.
Gosh I was so surprised that you mentioned that Shipshewana was one of your favorite places to visit. I didn’t realize many people other than Northeastern Indiana and Northwestern Ohio knew of this much quieter Amish communities . We go to Shipshewana quite often for the draft horse shows. I will be trying the Sam’s manicotti! Thanks for sharing your videos !
I love these videos of the “ready meals” that you do. I shop Costco and Sam’s and see these all the time and wonder if they are any good. Just discovered your channel recently and really live it. I will be leaving next weekend for a 4 day visit to your area. Maybe I will see you out and about !
You might! We will be out and round. We are coming home from a camping trip from Georgia to the Apple Festival and will be back out and about! Thank you for joining us and we do appreciate you.❤️
Thanks for sharing this dinner. I will be looking for the manicotti at my Sam’s Club. And you are so right. Prices are still going up, up, up every week! No end in sight. Have a great weekend!
Great video Rich and Jen! I joined Sam's because of you. The food looked so delicious and the price was great. Your kitchen is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing
I just found your channel and I like it very much. I live in middle Tennessee. My daughter, grandson and I just went to Pigeon Forge little over 3 weeks ago and we enjoyed it so much. I hope you both have a blessed week.
The two of you are very honest and very clever to share your opinion at local eateries and " take home" big box meals available for sale. I enjoy the Videos....keep at it!!
Yes please Jen, need that video on your croutons! And also this is such a great addition-doing the grocery store meal kits and checking cost effectiveness 👍
My croutons are crunchy but before I bake them, I pour Italian dressing over them. Sooo good. Gives them a garlic flavor. Love your videos! Keep them coming. ❤️
I am very interested in your crouton recipe! You hit this one out of the park! I have walked by that lemon tiramisu many times. It just never looked good to me! I’m going to buy some after your review! The manicotti looked awesome too! Thanks you guys!
Hi guys, the Cesar salad looked really good. Jen, when you get a chance, can you show us your homemade crouton recipe? I’ve noticed on the printed instructions, they never seem to give enough time. Like you did, I learned to always add 10 -15 minutes. The manicotti looked really good. Nice and cheesy. I usually make mine from scratch but sometimes it’s just easier to buy it ready made. I cheat once in a while and buy ready made meatballs to add. My mother will haunt me for that one. 😂😂😂. She made fabulous homemade meatballs, God rest her soul🙏🏻 . Thanks for sharing another great video. Be safe!
I love this kind of video. Please keep making them. The meal looks great. I never heard of lemon tiramisu before either, but it looked so good. So I had to check the comment section for the manicotti on the Sam's website, there was one comment that had exactly the same experience with the bake time. They also returned it into the oven uncovered. Another person said they leave it uncovered from the beginning. But I think your way is the way to go. To bad I can not tolerate all that cheese. The salad kit is fantastic. I mostly get salad kits for the convenience. You could also add grilled shrimp or grilled salmon to the salad.
In my early years my Family and I did a church trip to Amish Country in Pennsylvania. Part of the church trip was dining at a Amish Family’s home. The Family we visited was named “Stolz”. What a beautiful Family and What a awesome experience for all of us city folk-especially a young person like myself to witness a culture so different than my own. Even the food was wonderfully different! Shoofly was my favorite food there😋 I don’t know if post-covid you can visit these Amish Farms anymore, but if you can it’s definitely worth it. Thank you for this video...Be Blessed!
What a yummy looking meal. That manicotti was definitely comfort food. I think you could get away with one Manicotti per person if you added a loaf of garlic bread. That would be plenty of carbs for sure! :) I've never seen lemon tiramisu before, but it sounds really good. Would love to see you make your homemade croutons as well. Love the idea of a dinner question too. Thanks for taking us along on your adventures!
I love their pen wheels chicken wraps & their $7.85 15 California Sushi Rolls. You can't beat the hotdog & drink combo along with their brownie ice cream!
Yum the food looks good 👍🏻 makes me want to get a Sam’s club card 😊 yes the way Rich described the homemade crotons would love to see how you make it. Have a blessed Sunday 😊
Really liking your Club meal videos and the question and answer addition only makes it better. Glad you both enjoyed this Italian themed meal. Great choices.
I really enjoy these meals No worries about tipping. The salad would feed just my husband and myself. We love salad. Your apron is beautiful! Yes on the couton recipe. I use to work in a salad bar area of a restaurant years ago. We made our own. You would not believe how much we went through.
I really appreciate you reviewing these dinners from Sam's. I've walked by them often and wondered if they were any good. I'll definitely be picking these up on my next visit. Oh, and I'd love to see your crouton recipe in action!
I love the videos you try the meals at home ❤️Yes please video you making your own croutons Thank you for sharing and Take care Food looked good salad with chicken would be a great dinner idea ❤️
I love Lancaster Pa too. I had my first buggy ride from Abe’s, my kids had their first buggy ride from Abe’s and now my grandson is going in a couple of weeks.
Homemade croutons are so easy to make and so much better-tasting and healthier than store bought that I don't know why people buy them processed. We like to add the croutons at the end after the Romaine has been coated in dressing to keep them from getting wet and soggy. It's nice to have that crunch and a bit with no dressing for flavour contrast, especially when you took the time to make them tasty.
Well that was great Rich & Jen. Caesar Salad is my favorite too. Manicotti looked so good, but I agree a little bit more browned on top. Yes please Jen, your home made croutons recipe please. Thank you, blessings always.
This was another amazing video! I stumbled upon your page a few weeks ago and my family and I love your videos and all the places you visit, looking forward to our first trip to your area soon based on all the wonderful reviews! We would love to know how you met! Can't wait for Thursdays! Have a wonderful week ahead!
Well, thank you so much! I am glad that you found us. That’s great that you were coming to the area. There are so many things to do both in the national forest and in the commercial area of pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. What time of year are you coming?
These are some of my favorite vids that you all do. We have a large family and these meals are easy quick and delicious. Thanks for the ideas! Agreed, I do not put that part of the lettuce in my salad, but then that's my son's favorite part so he eats those pieces 😂 I love Amish, too! Oh we have special needs bikes for our daughters, we'll have to go to that place, which I cannot spell. I guess they're thinking each person would get one manicotti, but obviously people might be inclined to eat two like y'all did. My favorite is limoncello. See you next time!
I have not, but if I ever have some leftovers, I will definitely try them. I used to go to this place called the fresh market and they had a jalapeño cornbread that was to die for. Unfortunately, never had any leftovers with that though. L O L.
Absolutely agree Jen, food prices just keep going up it’s crazy! I Love your food tasting videos, you both are very respectful and calming to watch! Keep up the great videos! Question: What motivated you both to start your TH-cam channel and how do you find the experience so far?
Hi guys, I love the Ceasar Salads kits , but I still wash my salad just in case 😊Your Kitchen is beautiful. Everything looks great. Food prices are high n ur right we need a break hopefully soon...Have a wonderful day! Blessings ♥️🙏✝️
You always have nice dishware. That green is very pretty, esp for a salad. We have a similar style in red from le Creuset. It's fun when eating spaghetti or other Italian meal.
Since you like to visit the Amish communities you might enjoy Shaker Village of Pleasant Hill in Kentucky. It’s a beautiful and very interesting place to visit.
Good morning guys! I just stumbled on your channel. Nice video. I actually work at sams in Bloomington Indiana and I work in the department that makes the cheese manicotti and all of that different kinds of premade meals. We do not make the manicotti anymore. It is different at each club. Anyway thank you for trying a sams meal. And please do a comparison on the rotisserie chickens and would like to see your croutons Have a good week ahead 😊
Hey, you two! Oh, gee, I'm an OG, Rich? 😂 Thanks for answering my question! I guess you have to consider the heating instructions as more guidelines. Results may vary. I appreciate your honest opinions so much. I love your videos! Take care.💜
Salad sounds good. Yeah we have Amish here in Kansas friendly people. They have a restaurant near us oh my great cooks and bakers amazing pies. Salad looked good. Cheese manicotti looked good also. They I’d make a good Italian-Mexican lol. Love lemon so I’ll have to look for that at Sam’s. Thanks for going to Sam’s. Great deal for dinner. Day complete.
Yes, Jeff I think if you like lemon, you would love that lemon tiramisu! If you try it, let me know what you think. I was skeptical, but I definitely got proved wrong on that one.
Cesar salad originated in Tijuana , Mexico . It was a posh restaurant back in the day where a waiter names Cesar created the first salad of this kind . It’s not an Italian dish . Thanks !! Love the videos

Love you guys!! We're on vacay in Townsend Tennessee right now, and have enjoyed seeing places you two have been! My dinner question is...I know you met each other through work, but where was your first date? ❤
Yes, I agree! I order groceries twice a month and I am shocked every 🎉 with how much each item has gone up 😢. I would love to see your crouton recipe. I really enjoy your videos and look forward to them. Keep up the great work!! How long have t😮 two of you been married? Children? Grandchildren? Thanks
I like to rinse my packaged lettuce in fresh ice water with a little bit of fresh lemon juice then throw it in the salad spinner to dry it off and even if there is pepper in the dressing I still like the fresh ground black pepper on it. Your apron is really cute. The food looked good.
The meal looked great,I have seen those but didn't know about trying them .Thank you for trying .My question is , how old were you two when you got married ,and can you show us a picture of you on your wedding day ?
Great video you 2 🎉 Yes, enjoy these types of videos, especially with you trying to be more budget-friendly; as not a lot of people can afford to dine out anymore. This is at least a good alternative with less cooking work to do for a treat. I also like how you gave a realistic portion breakdown with cost per person. Some people can eat more or if they have growing teens in their household too. 😊 I think the manicotti would be good for seniors as well, just portion it out into containers & freeze for later; except for the salad that can’t be frozen. I would think the dessert could be frozen too. I’ve learned to freeze my deli meat from Costco or Sam’s in weekly portions because I can’t eat that much in a week’s time before it goes bad. I wasted good food in the past that way. Same with the rotisserie chickens, take the meat off the bones & freeze in portion bags or containers.
Yes, please do a croutons recipe video! Sounds delicious!
@@AbbyInTexas yes I’d love to see that video

I make my own croutons as well and yes, they are softer and more "buttery", I would say. More cooking videos please. I love watching y'all cook.
Thanks!!😊
Homemade croutons are so easy to make and so much better-tasting and healthier than store bought that I don't know why people buy them processed. We like to add the croutons at the end after the Romaine has been coated in dressing to keep them from getting wet and soggy. Thanks for the video. A good Sams Club meal. Yes, please share your crouton recipe.

Have you ever tried making croutons out of cornbread? Longhorn used to serve them and I LOVED them!!!
I have not, but if I ever have some leftovers, I will definitely try them. I used to go to this place called the fresh market and they had a jalapeño cornbread that was to die for. Unfortunately, never had any leftovers with that though. L O L.

More to that story, and yes, originated in Tijuana. In college we frequented regularly.

I like to rinse my packaged lettuce in fresh ice water with a little bit of fresh lemon juice then throw it in the salad spinner to dry it off and even if there is pepper in the dressing I still like the fresh ground black pepper on it. Your apron is really cute. The food looked good.
Thanks, that's a great tip for lettuce! I bet It does make a big difference!
@@jennifermountaingirl Some of those bagged salad mixes have that packaged taste and this helps get rid of it.
That looked delicious 🤤 I love anything with cheese!!
It was delicious Casey!!❤️
@@jennifermountaingirl it looked really good. I had leftover steak & fries from Cheddar's yesterday and made a salad
Jen, I love your glasses, where did you purchase them from? Love ALL your videos
Thanks!! 😊 The optometrist!! 😂 I got clear so they would go with all my crazy colors of tops!!
I think the manicotti would be good for seniors as well, just portion it out into containers & freeze for later; except for the salad that can’t be frozen.
Yes! Thank you! Got those questions!!
I love those middle ribs of the romaine, it makes it crispier!
I really like pasta. This looks just wonderful. Ye, please make croutons. Stouffer's now has a Garlic Lasagne, so good. What a wonderful meal.
So good!
I would have looked sideways at that dessert too, but lemon is good after Italian food so now it's on my list of things to try.
Yes please do the crouton recipe.
Do you have a golden corral there?i love to watch your video i get a lot of ideas on cooking
Yes I do!
