I’m headed to my home state of Washington to photograph flowers at the Tulip Festival - floral phot art is the bulk of my business (or it will be once it takes off). So blogging, taking pics at local botanical gardens of like flowers, creating reels related to this upcoming trip. Also have to muscle through a huge store redesign so that and editing 600+ photos is sucking my time. But must be done, plus go to my J.O.B. 😝

Audience feedback is so valuable when you're trying to come up with content ideas. I am always checking my profile insights and the comment section - could be such a gold mine, and a source of inspiration. 👍

Hey Katie, loving these monthly content creation vids. I'm just getting ready to launch my hand made jewellery business on the world via website, blog & social media & have put my own spin on batch creating content. First I write the blog. Then I create photos, graphics & videos for the blog based on the topic. All the visuals which are in various formats so they can be repurposed on social platforms. The next step is to write the captions for each post and finally schedule it all for the coming month. Then I write the next blog & so on. I also create a monthly freebie based on one of the blog topics to help build my email list. Your videos have not only inspired me generally, but have been so helpful in the pre-creation 'ideas' stage. Huge thanks x

I just want to say I can't thank you enough for everything you're sharing across your different channels, it's pure gold every time! I just discovered you this week when struggling with making my first reels, your video was the single most helpful thing I found and I made my first OKish reel in no time! Since then I'm binging your podcast and YT

It's been difficult to find information about scheduling and batching content if you're less of an educator on social media and more of an entertainer. I do art and make a webcomic, as well as sell shirts and merch, but I find scheduling ahead to be difficult and I also find work in progress posts don't perform well on any platform of mine. When I haven't finished a funny reel or tiktok (which I have to draw each frame/scene for... time consuming!), it can be stressful to schedule a specific reel, then either have to insert a quicker one in it's place or scrap/postpone the idea altogether.
And while I don't hate the idea of making "how to" videos about my art and process, I find that tends to attract other artists. Other artists aren't my target market, so it makes answering the question of "what's your audience looking for?" a confusing prospect when all you can think of for an answer is "to laugh and make them feel good".
TL;DR: Any tips on batching content for entertainers?

These videos have been SO helpful! Your tips here and on the podcast have been the biggest influence towards me successfully posting every week day for a few weeks now!
A question I still have - I don't see the arrow denoting a trending audio on ig; I've just never had that feature. Do I just guess? If ig sends me one of those notifications about how many people have used an audio I saved, does that mean it is trending?

I've been enjoying your various videos about instagram over the past week. Thank you for sharing your thought process on setting up your editorial calendar. Personally, I use a Filofax (paper) method, but your Notion calendar looks interesting too.

Thank you Katie! Love these monthly planning videos. And your Notion template has been a huge help for me. I was trying to make Asana work for years and just couldn’t set it up for effective planning. Will you be selling more notion templates soon? Like for managing brand partnerships, blog posts, etc?
