If I had this problem, I'd have got a mechanic to do this, and it's such a simple job.
Another excellent tutorial video. Thank you. I am David from soggy and wet United Kingdom

You are absolutely right David. It's a real pleasure for me to give people the knowledge and confidence to solve these problems themselves. So many things on cars are easily fixed.
BLs are a good car. Sure, they their known faults, but they are all solvable, and like the one in this video, the changeover of the part is less than five minutes. It all comes down to knowing what to do, and that is the knowledge that I love providing.
All the best from Paul in Perth, where incidentally it is also soggy and wet right now.

Gracias from west USA! Quick question for you if you have a moment. Mazda 3 I 2011 2.0 base model doesn’t have keyless entry by default. With that said the car does include power locks and windows with controls via the door panel as you displayed in this video. My question, Is it possible to install a salvaged keyless entry module and program a corresponding fob controller? Thank you for your time, Tomas G.

Hi Tomas, I don't know definitively because I've never done that exact job, but I believe your logic is sound. My gut feeling is that it can be done. I suspect you could get a definitive answer from an auto locksmith, or a Mazda service department.
If you do get a definitive answer, please post it here so we can all benefit from knowing the answer.
      Paul in Perth.

American, thanks for these videos. I had a vw gti that had a recall because of faulty windows, maybe I would have kept it if I had seen this.

California USA and thank you for your Mazda 3 series, it has been extremely helpful with removing things so I can wrap them, or decide whether I should even go to all the trouble lol. Thanks again!
