The day after this ep came out, i decided to try this myself, except i made hashbrowns instead of the little potatoes, and added some chopped up pieces of cooked bacon to the eggs, and it is by far one of the best things I've ever eaten, and it is now a household favorite in my family after i made each member one for breakfast. I really do hope they make some other episode where they actually attempt to cook

This video was AWESOME! At Taco Bell, they fold the Crunchwrap while the tortilla is still cold. Then, they pick it up with a flat metal spatula and place it fold-side up on a special flat grill with a lid that also heats up. They press the lid down for a few seconds, which cooks the folds into place. Taco Bell was my first job ever! Those grills burned my arm while making a Crunchwrap, and a decade later I still have the scar to prove it. This recipe is fabulous! I never thought about cooking eggs that way before. The only change I made was using a hard taco shell broken in half instead of chips. A tostada is what they use at Taco Bell for Crunchwraps, but I didn't have any. I love this style of video! There's something so special about a well-made homebrew, especially for you guys. I'm really looking forward to the other TMPH@home videos!

When I worked there over the summer I learned how to make crunchwraps, they're the only taco bell item I remember because they're my favorite item to order, you take the tortilla and warm it up and then you take it off to fill and fold, then you put it into a little folding grill that looks like a griddle waffle maker for 17 seconds, then you grab the spatula for taking things off the grill, and then you pop it into a crunchwrap bag and then you give it to the customer, sometimes I got the top of my hand with the top of the grill because I was tired and not paying attention lol

Is it weird how much I genuinely want to see more of Arin's cooking? Like this wasn't a chaotic episode at all which is kinda refreshing. And I've never heard of putting sour cream in scrambled eggs, but it's actually really nice. I recommend everyone do that.

I didn't know I would love having a cooking show with the Grumps until now. Idk how good of a cook Arin and Dan are but they make a perfect cooking duo, for example of this episode, Arin explaining directly to Dan how to cook it and do things, at the same time explaining to us, while Dan ask questions we would ask too, explaining us in even more details. Plus their comedy duo keep us laughing and entertained throughout the video!
You're actually supposed to fold the crunchwrap on a surface (not directly on the pan). Then, place it on the pan to where the folded side is getting all the heat. That's how you'd do it at home anyway. At Taco Bell, we fold it and then put it on the press grill for like 17 seconds lol

I don't think people realize this but good cooking skills are kind of a requirement if you're on strict diets since you have to make your own healthy food. (at least in america because healthy food doesn't come at fast food prices)

When I worked there over the summer I learned how to make crunchwraps, they're the only taco bell item I remember because they're my favorite item to order, you take the tortilla and warm it up and then you take it off to fill and fold, then you put it into a little folding grill that looks like a griddle waffle maker for 17 seconds, then you grab the spatula for taking things off the grill, and then you pop it into a crunchwrap bag and then you give it to the customer, sometimes I got the top of my hand with the top of the grill because I was tired and not paying attention lol
at the taco bell i worked at, we didnt get a spatula for the grill. wild west moment

Is it weird how much I genuinely want to see more of Arin's cooking? Like this wasn't a chaotic episode at all which is kinda refreshing. And I've never heard of putting sour cream in scrambled eggs, but it's actually really nice. I recommend everyone do that.

I didn't know I would love having a cooking show with the Grumps until now. Idk how good of a cook Arin and Dan are but they make a perfect cooking duo, for example of this episode, Arin explaining directly to Dan how to cook it and do things, at the same time explaining to us, while Dan ask questions we would ask too, explaining us in even more details. Plus their comedy duo keep us laughing and entertained throughout the video!

And if Arin starts blowing it, they can just put Mochi on the camera.
You're actually supposed to fold the crunchwrap on a surface (not directly on the pan). Then, place it on the pan to where the folded side is getting all the heat. That's how you'd do it at home anyway. At Taco Bell, we fold it and then put it on the press grill for like 17 seconds lol

@@maddieb.4282 im a little late to this one but at our store it was only 13 seconds if you were using the drive thru side of the kitchen, or 17 seconds on the lobby side. the clamshell grill on the drive thru side was a little funky and i guess it was overpowered, if you did the full 17 seconds it would end up all charred

I don't think people realize this but good cooking skills are kind of a requirement if you're on strict diets since you have to make your own healthy food. (at least in america because healthy food doesn't come at fast food prices)

@@i7887 Most people are taught the grandfathered way of scrambling eggs in a bowl like dan mentioned, myself included. It's not really about the subject matter of what's being cooked either, it's clear through Arin's attitude, movements, and commentary that he has some degree of culinary skill outside of simple pan and stove creation.
