I was heart broken to hear him ask that. These shows can be so gut wrenching. These 'judges' tease these poor souls and that leaves them too eager, rejected and confused. I really hope Chriddy doesn't give up and he finds his creative tribe. He is phenomenal.

Oh, my goodness. When he asked why he didn't pick him, I just saw the "rejection" that he faced from his father as a child. He could have been asking, "Why didn't you pick me, Dad, instead of death??" Prayers for him. Such a gifted person!
I recognized that too and my heart broke. May God open doors and opportunities for him and heal his heart and mind completely bc he does have greatest talent!!!

I could literally feel that cut in my heart when he asked Guy that question at the end...now I just hate Guy even more. My thoughts and prayers go out to Chriddy, he's just been through so much loss, pain and rejection from childhood.

The hurt in his eyes was undeniable. He trusted Guy twice and he left him on the stage twice added to the pain of rejection.

He certainly should be allowed to compete if the other competition didn’t get him anywhere! Don’t think he would be bothered to participate if Australia got talent got him where he wants to be.

Criddy’s tone was way better come on. Jack is great but no ! Never trust him ever should gone with Delta the second time around. I never watch blind anymore this bus one of the reason 😢
Chriddy needed a dad so badly, and he picked the dad who would abandon him -- twice -- because that's what he knows. It's heartbreaking, but also so super Freudian. "Then why didn't you pick me?" is one of the most devastating and direct things anyone's ever uttered on any of these shows. It's something he needs to ask his dad, but can't. It's the question that will never ever go away.

Critty NEEDS a dad, still. And absolutely no shame in that. He simply needs that energy and connection. He needs that role modeling, care, and love from a father figure!
Chriddy needs and wants male approbation so badly!
At some point he needs to realize his father killed himself not because of his son, and his son wasn't enough at that particular moment to save him either.
People kill themselves because they are in pain and are without hope! So hopefully Chriddy can understand that his father was doing the best he could at that moment.
For as badly as folks do in their very worst actions they are doing the best they can do. It would be nice if Criddy realizes the pain and torment his father was in, and understands it rather than just frame it as 'how could you leave ME!!!' (IGNORING the question of how could you do this to your family? How could you do this to Yourself!!! Etc!)
Hopefully Criddy will have compassion for his father's pain and suffering and understand it was beyond his father's ability to cope, to do anything else!
It would helpful to see this all from the father's point of view and not just from the eyes of a 5 year old, who is long past being 5 years old!
I've been through this issue myself, in a slightly different way. My spouce was a drug addict. Yup, I didn't know before we got married--- somehow! I thought it was just occasional, recreational drug taking. NOT SHOOTING UP. THE HARD STUFF! And I because a widower in a bit less than 5 years! It about killed me!
I'd go to work and come home to an empty house, which stayed empty for weeks at a time. So many sleepless nights. Never knowing when or if I would see anyone at home when I got there.
Eventually I would find someone there, 10-15 pounds lighter, looking very tired, like they had F'ed half the population a few neighborhoods over, track marks going up an arm, having emergency eye surgery because contacts were not taken out and cleaned, while on these binges. It was almost as bad as regular suicide, it was the slow, multistage, multistage suicide! It was tough to watch. It was tough to go through with someone you cared about deeply! I thought I didn't do enough, I wasn't something enough as a person, I wasn't understanding enough! But in a split second I also understood they were doing the best they could, even though I never knew what the base problem or issue was.
I wanted to move on but I got so tied up in all of the drama. "I don't love you but I feel safe with you and I don't want anyone else to have you!" Like, WTF!!!
IT WAS JUST SO NUTS!!! ONE SECOND I UNDERSTOOD, HAD COMPASSION AND THE NEXT I WAS RAGING, EXHAUSTED, HURT, SCARED!
I can see my marriage from my perspective, 100%. But I try to focus on the pain and hopelessness my spouce was, obviously, going through and was obviously damaged long before I arrived on the scene. But everything was a secret, hidden, 'gee, I don't remember that!', etc. I was dealing with someone very evasive, manipulative. We both did the best we could. So I don't beat myself up as often. Or as badly. I just wish there had been more time to, perhaps, reorder things! To heal or fix things. To have a better understanding of all of the dynamics at play.
It WASN'T all about me! It WASN'T my fault. I WASN'T able to save anyone in addiction by physical means, I WASN'T a trained marriage/addiction specialist, I WASN'T able to do anything better, I was in over my head!
And I need to forgive myself for my shortcomings! I wanted to be happily married not be running an addiction treatment center!

Chriddy has everything with him . Voice , looks and charisma . He was not picked cause he is a threat and competition to established names like Guy his coach . Even the judges Kelley was obviously surprise with his pick . Soo unfair . He doesn’t deserve this competition . He can be famous without the show ❤️
From the blinds on I realized that this coach was jealous of him. I just didn't understand why he had the opportunity twice and chose to continue with this coach.
I hope Chriddy has found a place to shine with his beautiful talent . What a magnificent voice !!!!

Agreed; lesson hard learned though. I was irritated with him for choosing Guy twice when the other coach choice was more of a true supporter but then I saw the virgo symbol tattooed behind his ear and remembered as a virgo I do that too; once I choose someone I've let them run me over 100s of times and went back for more due to my own parent issues. Lesson gets eventually learned but takes a loonnngg time.

The same raw rejection as when his father chose suicide. That’s reliving trauma…

Agreed! It hurt me too when he wasn't chosen, and it hurt because we could also feel his hurt. He felt betrayed, that was so obvious. It hurt the girls too, especially Kelly. I bet she had a go at GUY later!
Jack was good, sweet, but he did not have the whole package, nor the depth of vocal tone that Chriddy has.

When Guy was saying I'm picking the onewho the process will help the most, I thought "Great! Chriddy has it!" Then he said Jack. I was dumbfounded. I'm sure my gave looked just like Kelly's. Ugh.

This happens when someone is too big for a producer. And a producer is not sincere. Not picking Chriddy is being afraid of him , as he is the whole package. So talented.

Chriddy would've been a great asset to Kelly's team, he should've chosen Kelly to be his coach or anyone else but Guy for that matter.
His tone reminds me of those soulful sounding American R&B singers back in the 80s and 90s. He should stop trusting his gut and think more logically on who can bring him to the level he wants without sacrificing parts of himself. Hopefully not the end but just the beginning for him.

I've watched Jack's performances before & this was my first time seeing Chriddy. Guy....WTH!? WHY did you do that?? I've simply lost all respect for you as a judge and a so-called mentor.

@@Bernet11Bee I think you're on to something. I know Jack is a great singer BUT he's already had his go -- THREE of them -- at that fabled brass ring. The industry is brutal & from what I've seen, Jack just can't hack the heat. Yes, it's terrible what's happened to him, i.e. bullying, etc . but it's a singing competition and the judges are meant not to just win, but to encourage, mentor, and help these new artists on their first difficult journey to possible stardom.

For me Chriddy sounds way better, in fact I cant compare them two. In my eyes he is definitely the winner, and so gorgeous and raw. I d love a man like that.
Had I been the judge I could NOT have choosen. I thought they were perfect together. And I thought they would be perfect singing that song, alone!
I really applauded them both!
I love them both!!! Not sure that one is better than the other, but they have different styles and are the right singer for some similar songs but also very different songs. Critty has more gravitas. Jack can sing some light hearted songs more than Critty can. But Critty can tear your heart out with his masculine ways/voice/demeanor/look.
Like fine wines, sometimes a great cab is the perfect pick. And other times a merlo is just the right choice! You can't say one is better than the other! It just depends!

Let's just say Guy is not the choice for anyone who needs/wants a bit of tlc in this process. He hasn't got it. Never has. Never will.
For Critty, to expose himself to that from a male role model like guy is understandable but the absolutely, tragically, the worst choice! The worst choice possible, by far!
And when Critty asked 'why didn't you pick me!??'---- Twice---- I absolutely lost it, TWICE!!! I so wanted to put my arms around him until he pushed away. And I would have stood there all day if he had wanted.
Guy has the warmth and charm of a pit viper, sad to say. No ability to feel or care or help. Can't connect emotionally, ever. He does a lot of 'acting'.
And not very good acting, either!
