- Video of me installing Perrin CVT cooler, PSP-OIL-201, in my 2024 Subaru Outback Wilderness. Love to off-road so this was a must upgrade to keep my transmission from getting crazy hot.

Thanks for the feed back :) I plan to make more video's! Currently struggling to cut together a watchable video from installing my Lift kit. Welcome to any and all suggestions on what people would like to see, be it maintenance or mods. As a full time Tech my time is a little on the short side but with anything, you get better and quicker the more you do it.

what skid plate are you running? pretty sick!!
Rival engine and transmission skid plates. OEM rear diff plate. Rival was the only company from the US that honoured their shipping cost with no extra cost to up here in Canada. 100% recommend them. I just painted the front lip of the engine skid plate to a very close colour to the copper/gold accent on the wilderness :) Probably see it in my next video.
It comes with cvt cooler?
It comes with a cooler yes, I installed a bigger more efficient cooler so the transmission doesn't get as hot while offroading.
I wonder if this will work o. The crosstrek wilderness since it has an oem cooler itself.
It would need to be mounted completely different so the mounts that come in this kit wouldn't work. There maybe space for it and the lines would probably be the same size, but the Crosstrek Wilderness Air cooler is mounted mostly to the upper rad support. For the cost of the kit, unless your handy fabbing up some custom mounts and you measure for room between the bumper and condenser, you may want to wait to find a kit meant for the Crosstrek. To be honest, looking at the service manual, looks like the Crosstrek Wilderness has a slightly larger stock cooler than what the Outback came with.
