What is the Rateau stage in the steam turbine?
These are the stages of the turbine where the reaction force predominates. They comprise a fixed vane disc or diaphragm and a movable vane disc, the wheel.
Where are Rateau wheels / stages used?
As single-stage turbines are always action turbines (Curtis type), the use of reaction stages is restricted to the intermediate and final stages of multiple-stage reaction turbines.
How does the Rateau steam turbine stage work?
This type of multi-stage reaction turbine results in partial pressure drops through successive rows of fixed and mobile vanes (wheels).
As a result, the pressure drop at each stage is small, resulting in low vapor velocities at each stage. As the steam expands, its specific volume increases, so the reeds increase their dimensions for the passage of the expanded steam
    Rateau stage composition?
A single Rateau stage consists of a diaphragm followed by a row of moving vanes or wheels.
The diaphragm separates the stages of an action turbine and expands the steam. As steam passes through the diaphragm, speed increases and pressure decreases. After leaving the expander, the steam enters the wheel, where once again the work is extracted from the steam.
As the work is extracted from the steam, its speed, temperature and pressure decrease, resulting in a general pressure drop from the entry of Rateau's first stage to exhaustion and discharge of the turbine.
This general pressure drop causes the combination of Rateau stages to be considered of compound pressure configuration.

    Qual a eficiências?.

TURBIVAP - Canal da Turbina a Vapor
Acho q não me expliquei bem!
